    Day 2 In Havana

    Day 2:

Sorry for the delay guys, was having issues with my email registration. Also decided to drop the "S" on "King Santos". Has a better ring to it. As I did with my first post, I'll try to keep it as short as possible.

So I wake up late and my legs are definitely a little sore from all the walking I did the night prior but it's whatever. Character development. I now set my eyes on completing yesterday's goal. A permanent SIM card.

So I head over to to a local ETECSA at (location) as planned and say I need a SIM card. They tell me to go to another one down the street at (location). Apparently that one is Commercial Office that offers more services. I walk in and ask for a SIM card. There's a breakdown in communication and the clerk sells me a 500-peso recarga card (to top up a SIM card). I'm not really upset about it because I'm going to need a recharge at some point anyway. I clarify with the same clerk that I need an actual SIM card. She won't sell it to me because I'm a foreigner. That sounds familiar. At this point, I bite the bullet, get on my phone (which I'm still getting internet on via the Android phone my AirBnB host gave me) and order the $13.99 7-day "Basic" tourist card from Suena Cuba and select "Commerical Offices" for pickup. I head back home, grab my passport and return to the ETECSA Office. This time things go my way and I finally get the SIM card. Pop it into my phone and wow, the internet is so much better when the SIM is actually in your phone. Who would've thought? I'm mostly just very that I don't have to walk around with two phones like a jabroni anymore. I'm ready to get back to hunting.

As mentioned I had 3 Badoo dates lined up. The first one didn't respond to my messages but they werent delivering on WhatsApp. So I think it was an internet issue. 2nd one is messaging me back but I'm a veteran mongerer / hunter, I can tell it's not going anywhere. 3rd girl (beautiful slim light skinned girl - 21 years old) agrees to meet for lunch. Nice. She says she's going to the beach and will meet me after. This was around 11 AM. 4 PM rolls around and she says that she thought I had forgotten about her. Huh? I waiting for you to tell me you were done at the beach woman. At this point I'm fed up and kill the conversation and tell her maybe tomorrow. But I have no intentions of doing that (at the time). Extremely frustrated at this point. Let me get a haircut and hit the streets. A haircut should send my power levels over 9000 for hunting.

I hit three barber shops, they're all closed. Okay at this point Cuba is really starting to give me a headache but I'm not ready to throw in the towel. I'll get a haircut tomorrow. Let me go to Old Havana for the first time to eat and get a few cigars. But first, let's change money. I head back to the same restaurant spot from yesterday (Papi Rey on the corner of Av. Paseo and Calle 29) . Instead of the blonde, it's a young, bald white guy (he's super cool though). I ask him the rate today and he says 310. Nice, it was 305 yesterday, I'm starting to like this spot. I get 31 K pesos ($100), head to the house, shower and get a La Nave to Hotel Manzana for cigars.

While in the La Nave, I get a message from a new Badoo girl, she's willing to go on a date tonight. Nice. I ask her where she is and she says Old Havana. What a coincidence, that's exactly where I'm headed. I tell her to meet me at Hotel Manzana. Once I get to the hotel (about 8 PM), they tell me the cigars stop closed at 4 PM. I'm annoyed but at least I have a girl on the way. I hang out in front of Manzana for a few minutes and she shows up, 24 years old and cute but nothing to write home about. We go to a restaurant named "Sibirata Habana" right next to Hotel Manzana. We get 5 beers, an appetizer of croquetas, an appetizer of Brucheta, Lobster dish entre and a cheeseburger for 16.7 K CUP ($53.87). Decent food but the vibes and nice decor were a great touch.

It's 11 now and we're having a good time. We leave the restaurant and her dad (yes, her dad) is outside in the park area chilling by his car. She says a few words to him and one of her chica friends. I wave to them and they wave back LOL. Chica comes back, we hop in the La Nave and go back to my place. Great performer, I paid her 9000 pesos, she was happy about that and says she wants to spend the night. Cool with me.

Things got off to a rough start but now that I have my SIM card and I've finally gotten a nut off, I'm feeling a LOT better about the situation and the adventure that this learning curve is providing me. I think I was just cranky LOL. We'll see what Day 3 has to offer. I have quite a few planned and it finally feels like I'm starting to hit my stride.

    Best,

    King Santo.

I have a permanent SIM. If you borrow someone elses sim, you may affect their La Nave account. When you use la nave, usually you will get a phone call from the driver confirming the ride and let you know how far out he is. If you don't answer the phone call, they will cancel the ride. So you're going to need your own number to accept the call for each ride.

    La Nave App Question?

If I get a tourist SIM that allows sms will it work? And if not, does the app require a permanent SIM just to set up the account, or does it require 2 FA (typing in the code) each time I request a ride.

    Hey KS,

Just wondering if you found any better hunting during the weekend? Hope your trip has picked up.

Hey guys; first time poster, long time lurker (of multiple forums on here). I'm 28, speak very good Spanish (though not fluent) and travel / monger quite a bit. In the past couple years, I've been to DR about 25-30 times (never Sosua, mostly Santo Domingo and a few other places). I like to hunt for my food.

I came to Cuba because I'm moving to Santo Domingo soon (I'm there about every two weeks these days) and wanted to find another country that I could hop to frequently while living in DR.

I read the forum from January 1, 2024 until present so I had a lot of information going in. Here was my experience on Day 1, I'll try to keep it as short as possible.

I landed in Havana around 12:40. I head to the money exchange place in the airport because I had decided prior that I was going to sacrifice $10 on that horrible exchange rate in order to get a Cubacel sim card from the ETECSA across the street from the airport. After I changed my $10 (I got 1200 pesos for that LOL), I noticed that both Cubacel booths were empty. No problem, I planned to go across the street anyway. I get to the ETECSA across the street and they won't sell me the 1000 CUP sim card. They would only sell me the first card which won't work for me because I want a permanent line (and I didn't want to pay the extra). The lady said she wouldn't sell it to me because I'm American. Cool. I read about that possibly happening so no worries, I'll get it from a local ETECSA instead.

My AirBnB host had arranged a taxi for me ($30) so I head back to the airport, get on their WiFi and activate the free 30 minutes that you get to let my host know that I'm ready. The taxi finds me and we're on our way. Get to the AirBnB, I like it. I go to a couple local ETECSA but it appears they're all closed because it's January 1. Cool. My AirBnB host gave me an Android phone with a SIM card in it to use as a hotspot so I guess I'll get a personal one tomorrow. Time to exchange money.

My AirBnB host offered a rate of 250. Not doing that. On the El Toque site, in the area where it shows the rates, there's a little plus sign (and if you click that, it'll show you live offers that people are sending. These offers link to multiple Telegram groups separated by city. I find the Havana group and there's 25 K+ people in there all selling / buying pesos for the best rates. I pick one in Vedado, setup the meeting and head over. It's in a restaurant. This blonde woman takes me to the back of the restaurant and exchanges $100 for me at 305 per dollar. Nice. Head back to the AirBnB, time to eat.

I only got on Badoo about 4 days ago but only managed to setup three dates, all for tomorrow. None wanted to meet today. That's not going to work for me though, I want to hit something today. I head to a restaurant named "Las Cuatros Lunes". Nice, simple place. Good food. 1 water, 2 beers, beef taco appetizer (3 tacos) and a fish filet with vegetables for 6470 CUP ($21.21 at the 305 rate I got). Great deal and the food is excellent. I'm ready to hunt now.

Its 12 AM, I head to the Prado. When I get there, I see a couple girls. I think they're streetwalkers but as I walk up I realize that one of them is squatting and peeing right on the ground. No thanks. I walk the ENTIRE Prado and the surrounding areas. All the way to Parque Fe. Lot of activity but no pros. All girls are with at least one guy. Lame. I walk back to the Prado and walk it again. No pros everyone is with at least one guy. No worries, I'll see what's up on La Rampa.

I take a La Nave (their version of Uber) to La Rampa. I walk the ENTIRE La Rampa. From the Malecand all the way past Calle E. No pros whatsoever. Everyone is with a guy. Great. It's 3 AM now and I go home.

I'm not a Sosua guy so I wasn't expecting point and click but man the mongering scene in Cuba fucking sucks so far. The Cubans themselves are very nice people but I just don't get why USA Citizens come here. Hard pressed to find street working girls, the Badoo girls don't want to see you the first day you talk to them. Girls pissing right in the middle of the Prado where the monuments are (by the way the entire Prado reeks of piss). Huge piles of trash in the streets, people eating out of trash cans. This place makes Santo Domingo look like Singapore. I'm not normally a street girl guy but I was trying to push my boundaries as a mongerer and make it happen.

    Best,

    King Santo.
Also I didn't hear you mention Parque Central either. San Rafael and Parque Central are in very close proximity to each other which is not that far from Prado. You could have hit all 3 locations in a short period of time.

Why didn't you go to San Rafael? I would have went there before La Rampa.

Try walking around the streets of old Havana in the evening. Its safe. Look for girls sitting in door stoops and talk to them. Also take some rides in pedicabs and tell the guy you are looking for chicas. Most of them know some putas.

    Holiday hoes

New Year's day is a holiday down there too bro. Even hookers take days off, that being said I also hope your experience goes much better.

In my experience they always asked me for dollars / euros, except in one case where they said the amount in pesos (the 2 girls I took together). The amount requested for a service varies from girl to girl, almost always there was a brief negotiation, in any case I always stayed in the range of 20-40 $ and in addition each time a tip of 500 pesos for the bike taxi for the return. I have never done the long time, but I think that 40/60 $ would have been enough.

The girls found on the street were the least demanding.

Obviously if you go to trendy places, not the so-called "tourist places", and pick up image girls or model-type girls, the prices go up dramatically.

    Thc mate.
The pharmacy is in a square near the Museo del Ron, I don't remember exactly.

The money exchange lady is always in Havana Vieja, but she only accepts people she knows (I was introduced to her by the owner of the casa particular).

Great report man, what was the average price you got quoted? In pesos or Dollars?

As soon as I leave the restaurant I meet a beautiful girl on the street. She sees that I'm looking at her with interest, comes up to me and says: "Massage? Blowjob?" A little taken aback and fearing a scam, I thank her, but refuse the offer. Shortly after I meet another girl, less beautiful, but who decides, without leaving me a choice, to be my guide around the nightlife in the center of Havana, so we take this walk chatting and in the end obviously we end up in my casa particular where she introduces me to other Cuban skills so as to have her adequate reward.

Day 2 - After being a tourist during the day, in the evening I go out and go to the area shown the day before, where there is a bit of movement and a few clubs. I'm still a bit disoriented, I don't really know how it works so after a while, having received no signs of interest, I decide to go to the "Casa della musica", a place with live Cuban music. It's Friday night, but there aren't many people actually. There are 3 or 4 couples of girls who are potential prey. I get a drink and start observing. A girl approaches me, but she doesn't give me any positive feelings. Instead, there's another girl who intrigues me a lot but doesn't take me into consideration despite looking at her insistently. In the end I manage to meet her gaze and get a smile out of her. I finish my drink, go to the bathroom and finally approach her. She's there with a friend, we sit at a table, I get a drink for both of us and we chat. The drinks become 2, but I still haven't recovered between travel tiredness and jetlag so I insist on leaving and in the end seeing me half asleep, she understands that it's time to go if she wants to complete the evening with gymnastics and get her reward! So we say goodbye to the friend and go to my house where we spend a good hour before saying goodbye.

Day 3 up to 10 - I'm leaving for a tour of other places on the island with other people. Not much to report that might interest you. The only occasion was in Trinidad, a very touristy town, with a small historic center that seemed lively even in the evening. Here, among restaurants, bars and souvenir shops, I noticed the presence of various signs with the words "Massages" at the entrances of some places, with young ladies sitting and waiting. But I didn't use them so I don't know how far it goes and if it's worth it. Also, in the evening you can find girls interested in tourists, but being around in a mixed group of men / women I felt a bit held back and didn't investigate further.

Day 11 - back to Havana and did the usual evening tour, but the weather was rainy so there were very few people. A couple of girls are stopped continuously by the few tourists around and they pass each other their phones I think to exchange contacts. After a couple of laps I come across them alone and it only takes a half glance for them to approach me and after a few words they both offer themselves to me at a rock-bottom price, so much so that it stinks of a scam. We clear things up and although I'm still a little fearful, in the end I take them home. I had warned them that one was enough for me, but when I come out of the bathroom I find them both in thongs. And now? I look at them, each one has interesting points, so. Yes, let's go for the threesome! They take turns on the shaft, first with oral, then with doggy style. Then that's it, it was the first time with 3 so I lasted too long!

Day 12 - having read about morning / afternoon activities, I want to test if it's that simple. Afternoon walk to the paseo del prado, every now and then there are girls sitting on the sides, but they don't wave and I'm not sure if they are available. After a while I go back and this time I get looks and smiles, maybe they weren't sure before either, but seeing me again they understood! I stop by a girl alone, I'm not attracted to her face, but she's wearing a tight and low-cut jumpsuit with shorts that reveals a perfect teenage body. After a little chat we reach an agreement and go to my house. Naked she is a spectacle, in my opinion she is perfect, except for her face with those hideous eyebrowsbut the low price agreed is worth it.

In the evening I had reconnected with the girl from day 2 with whom I spent another evening that ended at my house.

Day 13 - During the day I go to the beach, in the evening instead I had made an appointment with a girl I met at the big market in the port where she works, she is truly beautiful, in my opinion. We meet in a place on the malecon in new Havana, suggested by her. A trendy place, with Western prices, where I will discover that she, but she had never been before (obviously, with their salaries it is unaffordable). I know that all these signs were very worrying, but she had taken me too much. In the end I spent 60 euros for 2 pizzas and 4 drinks plus the taxi. And then we each went home because she would have to get up early for work, but with the promise of seeing each other the next day to have a full evening because she would not have to work. Obviously I never saw or heard from her again.

Day 14 - in the afternoon I go back to the Paseo del Prado and I find the teenage girl from 2 days before so. I can't resist and I do it again. In the evening I go on the usual tour which this time is quite crowded, but from the little consideration I received I think they are all girls not interested in tourists. Only a few desperate cases show interest, but I'm not in such a bad situation. I decide to try going to a club again, "Casa della Musica" or "V&S", but when I'm in front of the entrance I meet a blonde and white girl (so far they had all been more or less dark, which I don't mind anyway, in fact. I like them all!) with a face that really looks like a photo model. We chat and I understand that she has some physical flaws (she already has 2 children), but I absolutely want to see that face that licks my shaft and given the modest request, I take her home where after the first session we both fall asleep and when we wake up in the middle of the night we unexpectedly fall asleep. Bis not requested by me!

    Day 15 - return flight.

Exactly, I have no issues at all hanging out, going out, and walking around the city with the local chicas. No need to be paranoid when in a Havana and hanging with the ladies.

Excellent report! Gives a great idea of what Havana is like.

Thanks for this report, nice detail. Might have to try Trinidad sometime, sounds interesting. Good to know the sildenafil is still around. Definitely unexpected when I wandered in and found some available, although they brought it to me from another location.

An anecdote: I met a neighbor who changed money for me at the highest exchange rate I could find on the whole island and once, when I was waiting at her door for the bills, I noticed that she practically had a market / pharmacy in her house with all the products that cannot be found in official stores such as shower gel, paracetamol, sildenafil, etc! I understood why she always had a line of Cuban people outside her door.
