Posts: 326Akara pattaya or Amari pattaya
Are any of these hotels green?
I stayed in Amari Pattaya last time but did not bring any girls to the hotel, it seemed like a completely family oriented one.
Thinking about Akara Pattaya this time but they have not replied to my emails about their policy yet.
Any experience here, please share.
Thanks!!

Posts: 70ST room (not in a bar) near Soi 6
Does anyone know of a ST room (can be a hotel that will allow ST) in the surroundings of Soi 6?
Not in a bar, not in a hotel that requires checking in / out and charging full overnight prices.
I want something simple that I could just use for like 2-3 hours with a girl and minimum hassle.
Thanks in advance.

Posts: 5090Not a good idea to have a setup where the ladies can take the elevator and come to your door. Sooner or lady, some unwanted visitor will come knocking at your door.

Posts: 1586What you need to know about The Base? Is a huge complex condo with 3 buildings in Central Pattaya just next soi Diana.

Super small tiny apartment.
There is absolutely no control about who come and go, no ID card check for the girls, elevator need key card so you need to go down to meet your girls and bring them upstair.
I met several girls from TF who lived there.

Posts: 5090The Base is located right in the middle of the action. The down side is that the apartments are small.

Flipper Lodge Hotel
It is an excellent hotel that has a 4. 1 rating in Google. It has an excellent location. Tight security and reasonable nightly rates. One negative is the walls are paper thin. You are going here your neighbor putting in work if they have the ability to do so. I pay cash when I stay there. Scan to pay is also a option.
If you are not using a credit card then how is it a problem? This makes no sense to me.

There are a few hotels that I am aware that do not have safe in Pattaya. One example is Sutus Court.

Posts: 2812Indeed as far as I know all hotels in Pattaya (and from my limited experience in Bangkok near mongering venues) have in-room safes. At one time I wrongly assumed this was the case throughout Thailand but it isn't. Once you stray away from foreign tourism or sex-tourism spots, no more safes in the rooms.

Rooms range from 4700 - 1400/night (High season) from Dancewatchers.
The longer your rent the lower the price per night that you pay. But their rooms are very popular and if you do not make reservations before high season your options may be limited.
Choose the deluxe cleaning package if you want your room cleaned spotless 5 days a week. The crew that cleans your room are top notch consummate professionals and they are very good at what they do.
I left them 500/ week per cleaning tech plus a lady drink.
They have a excellent website and their pictures are accurate. I have been in four different rooms that they offer in View Talay 6.
They also offer rooms in View Talay 5, View Talay 2, View Talay 1, but all of these buildings are located in Jomtien and I know nothing about them.

*all prices in THB.
