Is fair to say that generally your tip for strategy and safety applies all over Pattaya? And should we expect that aspects like ST vs LT decisions will be similar but prices will generally be higher or lower based on the area like WS, Soi Pothole, Darkside, etc. ?

Now about Bangkok. My favorite part of BKK is the local scene as you put it.

This is my 2 cents Goats. Pattaya is a great place to visit, but the hunt is becoming less and less attractive to me. Now I have my spots like Maggie Mays, club fate, XS and Pin Up just to name a few. That's all I need. I'm not one to try new places in Patts anymore. Heaven Above is on my to do list though. About TF in Patts, it's just too easy. Log in, choose a girl, invite her over and that's it. BKK is too much headache.

About Pattaya, I also agree. On WS as far as go-gos, Pinup, XS, Palace, Shark, 89, Iron, is good enough for me. No more investigating other go-gos due to the massive decline in overall talent. I don't even really go to LK Metro or Soi 6 anymore. Beach road is different, with some hard work and persistence, you can find a very cheap gem there. Discos? Yikes. I couldn't find anything worth taking at 808, Ibar, Insomnia, etc on my last trip.

I’ll add that Patong was a waste of time, for me. Thats more of a family place. Pattaya has everything I need as its more catered to adult entertainment.

May I be so bold as to offer a slight additions to the pros and cons of Soi 6 v Gents Clubs.

Girls on Soi 6 when taken to the room. Pro - likely to be younger and prettier than Gents Clubs. Con. Will want you to pop quickly, get you out so they can hopefully line up the next punter. So if you are after optifuk. Soi 6 is better.

Taking a girl or girls to the room in Gents Clubs. Pros. Far more relaxed experience, you may well get action in the open area as stated, then move to the room where the girl will be more interested in providing good service which might even cause you to spend longer with her, or take her again on your next trip. Con. She may not be as pretty as the young speedy girls on Soi 6.

Hence. Horses for courses. If you are young, have a rapid refractory period, head to the Six for multiple pops with slim young pretty girls. If you are a bit older, to the point you may just about getting a second shot in after a decent recovery time, Gents Clubs are perfect!

Before coming to Pattaya, one should do some basic research on pricing and get an idea of what places they would like to visit and maybe what hotel they would like to stay in. Always stay respectful and polite and initiate the help of a Thai person or a lawyer or agent that can assist. Don't end up like the guys on the news. There are a couple of services in Pattaya that offer 24 hour emergency lines that can help with this kind off stuff or even when you have a dispute with a girl that you have bar fined.

4. Check Room Hygiene:

If you use a short-time room, inspect the cleanliness first.

5. Condoms:

This is a preference for the girl and the customer. Whatever both parties agree. However, do not trick girls or remove the condom without their consent. I know some guys on the board talk about spontaneity and so on, but it's just not cool. Some Thai girls don't have the personality to fight and worry about not getting paid if they don't allow the punter to continue without a condom. Don't be idiots guys. You may think the bar is responsible and not you, but you bought the drinks for her so that may cause you some issues. Ladies often use fake IDs to get a job in Soi 6. She may even of told you they were 18. I have had that happen to me and I just walked away. They are too young to work in any bar. These girls often use fake ID, if that is uncovered and the lady turns out to be 17 or less, it could mean big trouble for you as well as the bar.


Tips for Talking to the Ladies

1. Be Friendly and Relaxed:

Lots of freelancers work there.

I see, it's probably the place in front of Black Minou bar.

Yes it's often packed, but I never stopped by that place. Don't really like the bars around Buakhao to be honest.

I think we can all agree that Soi 6 and Soi Bukao have tons of bars. For Soi 6, 30 is not the number. It is a least double. About Soi Bukao, I would have to say there are close to 1000, especially if you include the side streets such as Soi Made, Myth, LK, tree town and so on.

This is a very accurate assessment. I wouldn't compare Heaven above with Fate. Totally different. Older girls in Fate who love playing pool to get themselves and guys naked whilst downing shots. Lots of action in the open, BBBJs most nights on view on couches etc. Heaven Above far more as you say semi-agogo type bar downstairs, no pool table, most girls topless and upstairs the speakeasy is very small, intimate, expensive drinks and girls more hands on. Both are good options (and of course very close to one another) but very different.

This is a very accurate comparison of: Club Fate and Heaven Above. Completely aligns with my experiences visiting both places. I have an excellent time in either venue.

Of course my experiences do not invalidate anyone else's experiences. For me Soi 6 is a highly over rated, chaotic, hit and miss experience. Maybe it was better 20 - 30 years ago. ROTFLMAO!. Even if is was, I cannot miss what I didn't experience.

I can't see 78 doors in that kind of sois. 78 bars would mean 78 doors and at least 78 units.

1000 bars in buakhow? I have not done the math, but I bet the whole stretch of road is appr 2 km, being generous. That means a bar every 5 meters.

Whoever has been there knows there is plenty of other businesses in that road.

But in thailand: an umbrella, a table 3-4 chair and a cute waitress = a bar. Same thing wtih a cute waitress and some girls hanging around a wasted pool table = a beer bar. Add a pole and ask the the girst to stand still near it without mooving and you have a gogo.

Here's my take on Heaven Above during my visit last week. Downstairs had close to 30 girls. Had the agogo vibe with loud music, uniformed bikinis & dance rotation every 15 minutes. Quality wasn't great. I spotted maybe two 8's. Took 1 of them to the small VIP area upstairs. Music wasn't as loud so you can actually talk. She also took off her top once upstairs so I can play with her natural BS. There were a dozen ladies upstairs. All seem older and weren't in the prescribed bikinis. Only 1 other gentleman upstairs. The VIP room had more of a gents club vibe. I guess that's what they meant by agogo and gents club hybrid. Definitely can get a bit more fun in the VIP room but not the same naughtiness as Club Fate.

I occasionally enjoy beer across thai rose. Its 100% LB bar. I saw parades of koreans / asian custumers going in and out.

Thai Rose is full of LB, but I agree that Omega or Avarice doesn't have any.
