1. Yoon Massage and Spa, on Rue Samsenthai, asked, no boom boom or sex available. Legit.

2. Phokham Massage and Spa, off of Chao Anou Road. My favorite normal massage for 90,000 kip for legit massage. There are private rooms separated by a curtain with the mat on the ground, possibly extras if negotiated correctly and depending on the person. I have not tried it yet but will most likely give it a shot and offer. Nothing to lose.

So far only found those 3 massage places that offer sex. There may be more places around the city that have a MP within a MP if you ask for boom-boom sex.

I am working here for a few weeks, so meetups are not a priority for me, but your advice is helpful to others who might be flailing around with little result.

Here are my results so far. Feb 2025.

1. Some matches with girls on Tinder and Badoo. Had one bad date (girl wanted to use me for immediate coffee, then eating at food court, then movie, then sit and chat. I cut it off by saying next time for movie because I actually wanted coffee and eat at food court myself at Vientiane Center Lao mall area. Took a taxi back to my Airbnb area and she was cold in the taxi, when we arrived we chatted briefly and she did not want to discuss further and left. She mentioned she traveled to Pattaya and Phuket in the past, probably hardened bar girl who just wanted to milk me, no interest in me at all.

One good date. Tinder - girl wanted long term relationship, went on a date walked along Vientiane night market area first night. Second night went to her friend's wedding and a night out of drinking. She invited herself to my room with no prompting, sat on my bed and promptly took out a maxi pad and said no sex only looking for a serious relationship. As it was 2 am and a night of drinking did not argue and walked her to her car, mixed signals. Results pending.

2. Went to a few massage parlors, zero sex available, some use the term "VIP service", which can get confusing. It is better to be direct and ask if (boom boom and sex) is available with the girls.

3. Went to a KTV on one of the main roads, they even called a girl to come visit me, the price was $350,000 for the room for one hour Karaoke and $350,000 for the girl. When I reconfirmed if boom boom / sex was available with the girl, she declined. I got out without paying anything.

4. Massage LOC PHAT. On Rue Nokeo koummane -.

Sex available, cost was $75, or 1,500,000 kip, covered, one pop, the girl did agree to give a massage for the remaining time. 3 girls available.

5. Massage Vientiane, Rue Nongdouang, - 8-10 girls available.

A massage parlor within an innocent massage parlor, have to tell front desk you are looking for boom-boom.

Sex available, mostly a chinese place, use translator, I am semi-fluent in Mandarin, cost is $44 usd for one pop or 40 minutes whichever comes first, 2 pops appears to be $150. Yes it is USD. I paid 1,000,000 Kip which is $44, or they charge 300 yuan on alipay which is $41. Hours are 1 pm? - 3 am. Disappointing is one pop. Many of these girls do not smile, I picked a girl one pop, tried to make some small talk to make her feel comfortable, did not much affect results, she did not want to stay after or do any massages saying it is not on the menu, left after 25 minutes and a shower.

6. Massage Tai YuanGe Men's Massage, off of RTE Luang Prabang, near SoupHaxay Computer.

Sex supposedly available, closed on Mondays. Took a picture of the outside signs.

Analysis. Scene has gone underground. You have to look for MPs within MPs. There is no way an innocent backpacker is going to stumble upon extra services unless he specifically asks or negotiates it. Badoo and Tinder girls will take a lot of work. Will have to work on pickup game, picking up girls numbers in daytime and get them to come out at night, and still have to pay something. Nightclubs will probably yield better results but need to stay up late.

I am back in Vientiane again for a working visit after having had many visits pre-COVID during the previous decade.

There are quite a few new, chic restaurants and hotels, but there are also a depressing number of derelict buildings, and many places are now closed.

The plane to Vientiane was full, and there are lots of grey nomad tourists and the inevitable backpackers around, but the monger scene has clearly suffered from some unknown (to me anyway) effects. The trawling girls on motorbikes have disappeared in the evening. Even WeChat seems to have few potential meet-ups.

I haven't gone searching for a massage yet, but I am here for an extended stay, so time will tell.

Loc Phat Massage is a large modern building on Rue Nokeokoummane in central Vientiane. Open 24 hours, it is a KTV knocking shop. I went during the day time and there were only 2 girls but one was a very slim stunner so I paid 1,500,000 Kip to the receptionist and went upstairs to a large room with a king size bed and a large bath tub. Kim Ho was an 18 year old Vietnamese girl and spoke a few words of English which helped. Right from the outset she was hesitant and I later found out that this was only her 2nd day in the industry and I was only her 2nd client. This made the 1,500,000 Kip seem like great value.

The assisted bath was basic and then we moved to the bed. I laid there in all my glory sporting a boner to be truly proud of and she didn't know what to do! So I took over and taught her her job. The BBBJ was amateurish unsurprisingly. DATY was wonderful and she came big time. Sex in multiple positions was covered. And no money was going to change this. The DFK was enthusiastic.
