Price is about normal for foreigners. Yoshiwara soaps can charge 55 k too, or more. Soaps elsewhere like Ikebukuro and Kawasaki can charge as little as 20,000 though.

I was hesitant with my lack of Japanese then. But now I can just show them the pic of the hotel and start negotiation. Look like they are not averse to foreigners. Perhaps the bros could have better sessions than I had.

Some people reported success with Thai and foreign women. Streetwalking is not allowed in Japan so foreign Asians in Japan feel more comfortable with tourists, and Thai women tend to follow through. But there's not a lot of reports.

3. Kabukicho is the best place is the country for tachinbo (street girls). The place is like host club paradise for the girls. And where there are hosts, there are working girls. You can usually spot the working girls based on their attire, typically short skirt and high heels. But also look at what they're doing. If a girl is just standing on the side of the street on her phone for a long time, she's probably working, waiting for a customer. You can also just go up to a girl and ask if she's playing. This is done all the time in kabukicho. You will see local guys just walk up and proposition hot young girls in the area. It normal here and girls will not get offended generally speaking. 4. I stayed at the granbell hotel and I was bringing girls back every night. They don't give a shit. Just make sure you register for two guests. Or simply use the side entrance, as I did. I would not recommend getting a love hotel in the area, unless you have to. They usually have crappy rooms that stink of cigarettes. And some love hotels will try to charge you extra if you bring multiple girls back. 98% of girls standing around waiting for customers are not prostitutes. Girls bars are the most common, followed by maid cafes. It's not the norm for hostesses or oppai pub girls to do it for privacy and safety. If they hold a sign, that's the promo rate. Girls bars are super casual and "just chat", they are wholesome fun for guys who just want a cute girl to talk to no touching. It was fun my first time 20 years ago. They didn't care that it was cheap, it was just a token of appreciation and respect and they all seemed happy. I made sure I was clean and even trimmed my nails. I groomed but made sure not to shave it down after reading that Japanese girls don't like stubble. I asked all the girls what they like or don't like. This is true if all you want to do is bang. However when I dated jgirls seriously, it was very different. I always banged 2nd date. But I had already made it clear first date I wanted to bang, and she said next time and I got it 100%. Japanese girls have the common sense to follow through, I won't write an essay but they are direct about some things. It should be clear if she is already having a good time with you or not. Note how she talks with you, how she looks at you. There is no point in continuing even the date if part-way through it's clear it's not working out. One tip about taxis is sometimes they would know about the place you want to go, but the pronunciation is a barrier. Some shops and places have a totally different name or pronunciation in Japanese than English. One shop in English says "Almonds" but in Japanese is written "Amando". 5 out of 5 times no taxi had any idea what Almonds was but immediately knew about Amando which was quite famous. Same with Leicester which is always pronounced "Lester" and so on. For this reason it sometimes helps to take a business card or show the Japanese name of a place to the taxi.

I just show them the address on the phone. They all have GPS, and it's pretty normal for them to use it.

Taxis can be very convenient at times, there are pros and cons when I use them. Obviously, public transportation like trains is super cheap in comparison when available but not always direct. Google is a good tip. Remember that Google is doing real-time mapping so if you ask at 3am for a route, it will get confused and no longer be realistic since trains don't run at that time.

I think that's a good thing. It is real time so at 10:00 PM you might be better off taking a different train than you would be at 10:10 PM.

It would only be wrong if you were looking up a route a 3:00 today but didn't plan to travel until 10:00 tomorrow.

Trains do stop running at night. Another great reason to use taxis. Costs more, but totally worth it to me. Especially when it's hot or cold.

My trip will be Osaka-Kyoto-Hakone-Toyko. Flying into Itami and out of Haneda. After doing some math JR Pass doesn't seem to be worth it for me. So my question is how does an English speaking tourist most efficiently navigate the worlds most confusing train system? I imagine I'm taking the bullets on most of these legs. Are the signs and stations at airports and train stations easy to navigate with signage or is best bet just to ask an attendant the best and fastest ways point to point when arriving at train stations? I also will be with baggage and I've read booking in first class (green cars) is more convenient with baggage -- is this accurate?

Unless you plan on travelling the full the length of Japan, best forget about JR pass. Just pay-as-you-go with a Suica or Pasmo prepaid card, accepted on all transport systems. Some long distance trains may require reservations if you want to be assured of a good seat.

There is plenty of info in English around stations so it is not hard to find your way around. Plenty of info on line. Googling "A to be" will probbaly give you all the info you need; plenty of other travel apps as well. Plenty of train staff speak English, you just need to be clear about where you want to go.
