I came late to buying Gold via the GLD ETF fund for now. Trying to decide what percent of my total assets to keep in some form of Gold. I don't want to do as Stub likes to do: buy gold at a gold shop for B1500 and hold it for 6 months and go back and sell it back to the gold store for B1600. And then go on ISG and brag about his flow and stack.

Thanks for that AO, but I learned the hard way. True story, believe it or not:

I had a business that was generating extra cash, that was piling up, so I started trading commodities on the CME and NYMEX, fast way to win / lose money using the insane the leverage advantage ratio.

Consistent winners in this game are hard to find, but I'd put all my "stack" into big plays that could make me filthy rich, or wipe out my discretionary stack, without affect my core business.

I had some moderate success with gold and let it ride. , so much so that my broker at the then TD Midland Doherty, invited me to a lunch session with his sales department to share some tips. Their eager faces were looking for my secret sauce. The latest GURU. How disappointed they were when I told them, my trading philosophy had nothing to do with either the Fundamental Approach, the Technical Analysis Approach, just a huge gamble! All or nothing!

Almost succeeded too, and missed my projected target by just a week or so. As the market moved against me, got called to cover and I gave it all back, and more besides.

So I became just another loser at the game, wudda, cudda, shudda!

Learned the hard way! LOL.

Colombia and Thailand are much better places for me to reside. I am not afraid of going / being in Colombia. I don't associate with the criminal element there. It seems to me, with my first visit to Thailand coming in 30 days, that all the controversy about the nature of the "staffs" (pun intended) at Wonderland just means I shouldn't bother going in there. There are dozens (perhaps hundreds?) of other places in Bangkok where adult entertainment can be found. Missing out on Wonderland won't amount to so much as a raindrop in the ocean to me.

But that's just me. I'll only have 4 days there to find my temporary true love (and as many others as I can) before I head to Pattaya to look for other disputed Ladyboy-status bars to avoid.

Yep, hundreds, and the type of girl you seek is important too. I like short PYT local girls, no baby, minimal tats, no surgery.
