I've had 100's and 100's of Pasteur Street bar visits and not once was I scammed, not even at ones where guys have reported being scammed at in the past. I am VERY experienced at gogo bars and strip clubs around the world though.

The problem is now I can't name a bar at Pasteur where you can have a full service on premises on can take a girl for an outcall, and can't even name a price for such service. So, the issue is not been scammed or not the issue is there are no goods to sell. At least for myself I don't need a bar girl to share a drink or play snooker. I bet I can buy a beer and pay cash right away without being scammed but this is not the point.

Now, let's talk about prices:

Drink prices range from 180,000 to 200,000 VND, which isn't exactly cheap, so be mindful of how many you order.

Tip 1: Never buy a shot. It's a waste of money since they drink it too quickly and will ask for more. Plus, it's twice as expensive as a regular drink.

Tip 2: Never buy drinks for more than one girl. If you're rich, that's fine, but they will always ask to invite their friends or say it's someone's birthday. Just tell them you have a rule: one drink, one girl.

Tip 3: Never buy a laughing gas balloon. I tried a couple the first time, wasn't sure what it was, and it didn't affect me at all.

Tip 4: Ask them to inform you every time you reach a certain amount, like if I go over 3,000,000 VND, please let me know since the bill can add up quickly.

Tip 5: Say no. Many girls will try to pull you into bars. Just ignore them; if you're not interested, simply say NO. "One drink, honey." No, everyone is asking for one drink.

Let me share some details about two bars:

When you enter the bar, be upfront with the girls. Let her know, "I'm here to have a good time. I enjoy playing with the girls, touching, and kissing. I can buy you a drink as long as I'm having fun tonight. " If she's open to playing along, you'll have a fantastic night together. It's like being in the VIP section of a strip club. Also, speak to the manager and say, "When I hit 3,000,000 VND please inform me. " Then, if you want to continue playing, tell the manager to notify you when you reach 6,000,000 VND This way, you can keep track of your expenses and avoid being scammed.

—- SCAMMY Girly Bars:

These bars are quite intriguing. I've visited them twice. The first time was at Pasteur Street Girly Bars They got me. But I was aware I might get ripped off. I was enjoying myself, so I let it happen just to see what it was like.

They put pressure on you, which means I ended up with 2 girls. That was my first mistake. They kept ordering drinks, making it hard to keep track of how many I had. Also manager kept bringing drinks & balloons.

At the same time, they PLAY with you. (The main goal is to make you happy and drunk so you can't count the drinks.) They were professionals at it. I lost track. Anyway, we ended up with BBBJ, and when it was 4 am, I asked for the check. They told me I had 25+ drinks, plus shots and plus balloons. I said, "Come on!

I don't get drunk, so I knew what they were trying to do. I may lost the track bur not that much. I told them, "I like this place, and I'm here to spend my money, but I'm not stupid. Okay, you're trying to fuck me, but do it less. I'll be back tomorrow. ".

He looked at me and recalculated. I mean, I still got ripped off, but at least I was happy I ended up paying around 10,000,000+ VND, which is around $400.00, but I counted it as an experience. .

The next day, I returned after checking out a bunch of clubs.

This time, same girl told me to lets go upstairs for 3,000,000 VND.

Okay, at least it was cheaper. I asked, "What will we do upstairs?" She replied, "Whatever you want. " I asked how long, and she said, "It's all up to you. " I said, "Okay, after yesterday's overpay, let me give it a try. ".

That night was one of the best nights I've ever experienced. It lasted about 4 hours with multiple finishes. Wow, it was incredible. Covered the first. Night loss.

It's important to mention that typically, these bars don't allow FS at the club. Most girls are staying upstairs in their dormitory. However, this club does permit it, which is uncommon.

Additionally, you cannot take the girl outside to your hotel. Either will be way too expensive, or they will lie to you.

Anyway, they already scammed me, so I deserved that.

You can visit scammy bars, but always remember to keep track of your drinks and periodically check your bill.

*Never get drunk.

*Never carry a credit card.

*Only cash.

*Don't go alone if possible.

I am 50's and in good shape, a regular Pattaya Soi 6 punter. That street a favorite, and some other areas not-named Walking Street in Pattaya. I go to Thailand two to three times a year. I like my two week visits. The selection on Soi 6, the clarity of purpose and convenient on-site "processing", the wg ages range in the sweetspot of 20-26, most of the girls shaved bald the way I like it. All works for me.

However, during the past 18 months I see many punters bashing Pattaya. I don't share their waving it off for future travel and still like it.

I am a pretty experience monger who just spent 4 days in Saigon and then 4 days in the Nang. Conclusion: getting girls in Vietnam is a huge pain! The bar / massage girls are not even discussing the "extra" option until you spend tons of money on stupid drinks and "talk". Ironically, they want you to buy them drinks and "talk" to them while almost none of them speak even basic English. I befriended a manager in one of those bars on Pasteur Street in Saigon and he confirmed that a girl can possibly agree to come to my place for an "afterparty" only if I spend sufficient amount of money and time with her at the bar, and still there is no guarantee. And if this "miracle" happened, get ready to pay 500 $ and more! Tinder and Seeking. The two sites where I have accounts. Were pretty much useless in Vietnam: very few girls who replied to me either not interested in PPM or requested absolutely astronomical prices starting from $350 and up.

Funny that they refuse to budge even a bit. For example to lower it from 350 to 300 - they behave like negotiating down is an insult to them. And this is in a country where average monthly salary is $327 USD! Go figure!

The only other country where I had the similar situation was Cuba. And guess what? The both countries are Communist countries.

Finally, in the Nang a pimp approached me on a street and asked if I wanted a girl. He drove me to a couple of brothels each camouflaged as VIP Massage taking the entire floor in a hotel. The girls there were providing more then just a massage (the code word was boom-boom).

The cost of 1 hour with a girl of my choice was around 60-80 USD. The rooms were ok. Since it was a hotel they were pretty clean. The sex service was extremely mediocre though. Despite of being in "that" business, the girls have very rudimental understanding about sexuality. They refuse to kiss or eat their pussies out of fear of getting germs from saliva. Imagine that?! And zero understanding how to make a sensual massage for example, or how to create a erotic atmosphere! I brought my own mini speaker just to run a pleasant music during the play.

All in all I've been in the brothel 3 times and all of the girls were very mediocre. Physically and skill wise. Totally nothing to write home about.

I've been to HCMC a few times latest years so I thought it was about to share my experiences.

Tried little Tokyo but didn't like it due to the crazy fees they have for absolutely everything in the bars.

Been to Qui cuisine twice and like the vibe there. Also been lucky both times with picking up a local girl in the bar back to my hotel.

So last visit I went to Pasteur street to test the bars.

Had a decent time in a few bars until I went in to Rubys bar.

There wasn't any guest so I had 4-5 girls all by myself for a good 3-4 hours.
