Seeking is for foreigners in SP but more girls who can probably speak English which ideal for a date. Locals use meu patrocínio. The going rate on MP is about r800 for a meet. But very few girls speak English. I got a subscription to MP on my most recent trip. I didn't go on a meet because in the end I thought going to dinner with a girl who doesn't speak English with unknown chemistry was going to be a waste when you can go to a boate for similar fees. One fun thing with whatsapp is looking at the section called updates, and the people but mostly women post updates all the time. Internet access in Cuba is very slow, like dial up. And the girls have to pay for internet. And the government monitors their accounts. Some students have access through their university, but personal use is forbidden.

Cuba is not a normal country. Total control. And you are required to pickup hitch hikers if you see them on a road- share your wealth.

And the neighbors tattle on each other if you bring girls over too much. They can get one's private casa license revoked by complaining to the neighborhood council. I was asked to leave a casa particular (private residence) when I brought a girl over for sex.

I'm definitely not trying to pick up some girl from the favelas. If I don't have any luck with Seeking in SP (I do have a couple more prospects), I'll stick to hourly women and try again in Rio. The good news is that I hooked up with a hot pro on my first day. I thought she was going to be a catfish because she looked way too good to be true at 180 reais. There are more like her from what I can find, so silver lining at least.

There is plenty of poverty in SP, but there are also more business opportunities. In Rio the poverty spreads further. But I really don't think you want to pick up a girl from the favelas. Spot on here. My last three were all frugal always pointing out how I could do this or that cheaper or where to find x for the best price. Of course they don't complain if I decide to blow serious money on a dinner for a special occasion but it's always nice that they think enough of me to share whatever tips they have to save money. I'm generally against shopping trips for all the obvious reasons and cash is king anyway, no way for any kind of surprise to occur.

Good. I have done this many times, and it was never worth it. The best sugar babies want to show they are values / assets and not costs / drains. So they point out to me when I am looking to buy things where my money stretches further. When I come to town and ask if they need something, their response is, I do not need anything just you being here.

I would say though that do not confuse not going shopping with giving gifts. A nice gift that you pick out that she wants / needs will enhance your relationship.
