At roamingguru glad my report somewhat helped. I knew the bouncer was milking it when tried to charge me for entrance but they gave me a drink and didn't get hassled for a fruit basket or tap for the table.
As for the overall experience I think it helps if you speak Arabic as most of them (at least around these establishments) don't speak English which may have affected the vibes.

Your experience at Sarab is accurate. I fucking hate that place and they try hard to scam you. For the record, there is no entrance fee. I usually sit at the back tables and with a drink it is usually 100 which I think is fair. There is one absolute ***** there (Syrian girl who goes by the name Barbie), avoid her. However, she is very hot and the sex is good, but she can be bad news. The experience you described in the room is very non Syrian like as they are service orientated. As far as lady drinks go, they need to ask you first if you want to buy her a drink and that's if she sits next to you and you want to talk to her. But I think they just got a newbie vibe from you and milked you as much as possible. Avoid Sarab, they are cunts. Broadway is a better option for Syrians, same with Bazerkan at Capitol Hotel.

Day-1:

Many thanks to Edh007 mate for recommending Al- Sarab hotel. Touched down at 11 pm and headed straight to this hotel. MO was to meet a Syrian. Checked-in. I had not booked a room beore and just called the hotel after landing. I was told 400 AED, I knew it was 300 AED but still went with the flow. Room was small but clean. I could already see a couple of ladies in that small lift.

Day - 2.

After the so-so encounter in Sarab, I checked out the room next morning and headed to my AirBnB in Biz Bay. I am not sure if it is just me, I kind of get a depressed feel when you see the club entrance in day time. Dull and unmanned losing all its lights and glitz of the night before. So travel to Dubai in the afternoon from Doha on 22 Feb to watch the Cricket next day, India playing Pak.

I had book the Novotel Burdubai. In the afternoon visited a Spa to have a quicky in the same area, arabic delight 😊.

Evening was spent with guys, with few drinks and visits to mujara clubs. By that time it was well past 2 AM, thought calling it a night however decided to check Mint on the way. Disappointing. May be ai was too late, not sure.

Anyway back to hotel caught some good sleep, went to the stadium and enjoyed the atmosphere. By the time 1st innings was over it was evident it's an easy walk through game for India. Watched some nice strait drives by Gill and signature pull by Rohit. Once it was more or less done deal with Virat at the crease, decided to head back.

Firstly, thank you to all the forum members. I've RTFF and pumped for this trip now. I'll be visiting for a week in the beginning of March.

Only there for 7-8 days so I thought I'll hit up the talked about clubs in forum (Mint, Ratsky, Moscow hotel) and the AMPS, but wanted to check if the scene changes at all during Ramadan. I imagine that maybe the pickings get slimmer so don't waste time in the clubs and start looking at indies on MR.

Does the club scene die down during the month or there's still plenty to choose from?

Met a local punter today, he gave lot of insights and some non touristy clubs will share separately.

He also told Barans have become very strict now, as there was some street fight between Irani girls sometime back and authorities got really annoyed with it. Some of the girls who were over staying were even deported back.

Baran is dead for now because the place where the Baran WG's stay at (Pearl Executive Apartments) now doesn't allow the girls to have visitors. So if you want to take a Baran girl now, you will need to take a room in that dump and the girl comes to your room. Not economical like it used to be, hence the number of Irani WG's there have migrated elsewhere or are in very low numbers. Hopefully the hotel policy changes soon.

With full on confidence of first day and excitement of India winning the match, thought of trying the luck again. Went to premiere. Usual 200 entry without any drink, reached there around 11.30 club was not busy just 8-10 guys Nd about 20 girls. None worth taking home or may be RS has set the expectation higher.
