I've been in Bangkok for about a year and my itch is beginning to drive me nuts! I'm from the West Coast where girls are plenty and speak my language but its a bit different here.

My experience has been mamasans from various venues on Thaniya Road have approached me alone or whatever non Asian buddy I happen to be walking by with at the time and implored us to come inside, choose a girl, yes the girls will go to a hotel with me, essentially every detail you cited in terms of costs and options since years before Covid, immediately after Covid and ever since.

Many (most?) of the shops accept westerners now because the Japanese have largely stopped coming (it's cheaper to fuck in Japan now than on Thaniya due to the weakening yen). The system is pretty much the same throughout the whole street: short time 3500-4000 baht, barfine (called paybar there) 800-1200 depending on negotiating skills & how much you drink. Each shop has all you can drink for 700/ hour or so. There are lady drinks but every girl I've been with there drinks like 3-4 LDs in 2 hours, so it's not a big focus / hustle there, as at most shops you're also paying a few hundred baht / hour fee for the girl to sit with you.
