I find the ladies are not busy as their are actually more of them in town because they know it is High Season and more opportunities for them. I have not had a problem hiring prostitutes that I consider attractive from Thai Friendly nor have the Gentleman's clubs that I frequent been empty or low on talent. Now, do I like high season in Pattaya. I do not. Because it hard to ride the Baht Bus and my favorite restaurants are pack. The streets are full on an everyday basis. But my personal preferences give me no standing to tell someone else when or when not to enjoy their vacation in Pattaya.

I've only been to Thailand once and I already know this.

But unless you had only planned on fucking the 1000 that left and not bothered with fucking the 30,000 that are still there, then there is nothing to worry about. Since I only fuck 1 chick at a time, in almost 20 years there has been no differnce in a high season or low season for me. That is only a gauge for business owners as to how much tourist money they stand to make. There is never a shortage of chicks for a monger.

This supposed high season coordinates with the farming. High season is when there is no farming to be done, so the farmer chicks will come into town to try their luck at tourist money. Low season starts when the chicks have to go back home to plant and just so happens there are less tourists than the previous few months. Make your way up to Esan and fuck them on the farm if the few chicks that leave is what you think is going to make or break your trip.

High season only means more tourists. If chicks come in specially for that and they are not getting any money from an uptick in monger tourists, then they take their ass back home. They can not afford to pay for a room and food when there is no money coming in.

My girlfriend gives tours and drives tourists around and even she is talking about moving back home because tourist money is scarce.

There is no real reason to avoid Thailand at anytime It is more a matter of your personal preferences when it comes to weather and crowds. I have been posted here in high seasons and low season. I have my personal preferences. But unless you are master of your own time schedule many people have to take their vacation when they are able to. I personally cannot give a recommendation that Thailand should be avoided at any particular time of the year. It is just something that I don't do (avoid Thailand) and I enjoy the Thailand year round. Personally, I don't know how you cannot.

There's one particular time of the year many people don't want to be in Thailand and especially in Pattaya. Songkran is a lot of fun for Thais, starts the 12th April for 3 days in all of Thailand, except for Pattaya where they extend the suffering for one week. One week of throwing water gets very annoying (the 19th April being the worst). Some tourists, visitors or whatever you like to call them like to partake but most people find it's too long. I might be in Thailand in April because I probably won't be able to come on another period but I'm thinking of skipping Pattaya only because of this event.

High Season is still going on in Pattaya, it's just not as crazy busy as it was 2 months ago (which is completely normal). Some of the hotter girls have disappeared, sponsored up by lonely guys who pay for them to go back to the village. Typically, that lasts for 3 months, so the ladies come back in March and April to get in on the last of High Season.

And, yes, even in High Season, some bars are empty.

Pro tip: if you come to Pattaya, avoid November. April.

Most of the girls use the motobike taxis. Some of them have their own motobike. Most of them do not bring it up it up in the price negotiation, so I usually don't give them taxi money. But if they bring it up, 100 - 200 baht should be enough.

It is true that there are many empty bars in Pattaya, and as the article says, it's due to over-supply. High Season historically didn't end until Songkran is over. However, last year, Pattaya was busy right up until May 1.

There have always been empty bars in Pattaya, because the over-supply of bars matches the volume of customers.

If you think *now* is Low Season, come back in August, and you will see the difference. Even the Korean customers don't come when it's warm in Korea, they are seasonal, like the Europeans.

This is 100% accurate. Many of the Pattaya bars are back strong doing live streams on you tube. This is also a key indicator of high season being over. The problem is this year, the Pattaya high season is over much sooner than expected. It normally carries on until the end of March.
