That's nice (for you!) but what does it have to do with Neddy's post from 2 months ago? I am pretty sure this is not a new Taxi Be in Tulear, considering it's never had one. I would rather someone in Tulear, right fucking now, could give us an update on the state of the town.

Have watched a few short videos about this place but still unsure what exactly it is. It seems it's only open on Sundays. Is it just a beach side bar or simply a pick up joint? Is there live music and does it serve food? Is it worth a visit?

For over a month or so this app indrive came to mada. Probably only will be useful in tana and maybe fianarantsoa but still. Don't use taxis enough here to give a review but I used it in other countries and its good cause it lets you set the rate and you can just wait it out in your room until someone accept.

I wonder why the admins allow such forum posting.
Just let the ISG serve it's intended purpose. Try not to make it as porn hub where people post educational videos instead of porn. We have individual takes / views on countries and infrastructure. I am speaking behalf of mongers who visit mada for recreational *ex. I don't think it's suitable for full blown cloud computing or data science work. May be it's good for digital marketing like YouTube and blogs.

Power was out in Nosy Be for about 6 of my 10 days last year. Fortunately, the Airbnb had battery power that worked for everything by Airconditioning for about half that time. I also had a powerbank for my cell phone and managed to do most of my work on my phone and / or ipad. I spent a few nights at Ylang Ylang when I couldn't stand living without AC. And I recharged everything there.
It's certainly not easy. But it is doable.

If you were asking me which is my favorite place in Madagascar – the ones I visited until now, of course, I cannot talk about what I didn't see, I would choose Fort-Dauphin. I visited that place for the first time in 2018, as an online journalist, for a report trip for Book News Madagascar.
So it seems to be possible to have a mix of fun and work under the sun and near the beach of this this great country we call Madagascar.
Have a good time.

A modicum of precaution will prevent that almost all the time. Let me ask you, do you leave anything about when you go out that any of the staff, particularly cleaners, could lift? If not then you shouldn't have to worry about the hos. They absolutely do not want that kind of attention, bad for business and they don't want cops or hotel receptionists to know they are troublemakers, or thieves.
I have never had a hooker steal anything from me (in Mada!) as far as I know but a couple of years back somewhere between Diego, Tana and Tamatave 50 bucks US went missing. I had actually forgotten and paid no attention (stashed in my bag) until a week to departure and I discovered whoever did it left me 2 dollar bills but had liberated the 50! Almost certainly a staff member. I know it was not a hooker because my stuff is always left in view even from the WC. I was a bit surprised because if I knew earlier and had made an issue of it someone would almost certainly be fired. They do NOT want to lose their jobs.
If you are still worried find a short time room for 5-10 K.

What is it with you and massage parlours? Just go to Taxi Be after 9 PM, find a girl you, take her back to your room and fuck her. If actual massage is that important to you, well many will be happy to throw that in too. If it's daytime action you are looking for (there isn't much) make an appointment for the next afternoon instead. Not rocket science.
