Ok, I get that. We are all entitled to our opinions. Pretty obvious from my story that the mothers child care fell through for the night. I returned the next night and the same routine was going on sans child. But remind me to NEVER let a child be in your presence EVER. You must not have any. Or the environment you were raised in left you emotionless.

I am curious what have you seen in Thailand that has caused you an emotional reaction?

I wouldn't even consider what he saw half bad. Probably a mother who for some reason or other did not want to leave her child home alone when working the night shift that night, so brought the kid with her so she could sleep somewhere safe while mother is working. Thailand being Thailand, nobody created a big stink about it, unlike what might have happened in other countries. Nothing to be sad about, and in the morning mother and child go home together.

When I landed in Thailand I immediately got hit with a bunch of requests from ladies. As a result of the volume of appointments, I double booked myself this morning for 2 massages by mistake, one at 9 am (and one at 11. Rather than cancel one of them, I endured them both.

When I lived in the Dominican Republic I was challenged to visit Sosua because I had not. It was a valid observation. After two years of living in the Dominican Republic and developing a good life for myself I finally visited Sosua. It was an interesting experience but I found it to be somewhat lacking compared to the life I had built for myself in Santo Domingo Este. I find Thailand and Pattaya far superior due to the quality infrastructure it has and that it is an international destination that serves the wide range of visitors that arrive here. I find it curious that an individual who has never actually visited Thailand has such strong negative opinions of it. Now, if you have visited Thailand and you don't like it then I understand. But I have had half dozen friends who were fans of the Dominican Republic come to hang out with me in Thailand since I have been posted up in here and have stated without a doubt that Thailand is a superior location to the Dominican Republic.

I understand the principle to each their own But if you don't have any experience in a location how do you actually manage to develop such strong feeling about it? I would think you would want to visit and actually gain knowledge of Thailand before forming an opinion much like I was challenged to do so many years ago. I have knowledge of both the Dominican Republic and Thailand and I can say that without a doubt Thailand is superior to the Dominican Republic. Thailand has beautiful beaches. Which is really the only claim to fame the the Dominican Republic has.

I went to Maggie Mays yesterday, it was early, just past opening time, so most ladies were having lunch. Many will start lunch at 1 pm, and eat until they get a customer.
