Posts: 18162I put pictures of the beach in the post before (empty), but here they are again. I got a beef chimichanga at Flip Flops for 800 pesos and it was some bullshit. Full of rice and beans, then they had the nerve to put rice and beans on the side too.

What's the best mongering destination in Africa if safety, amenities, and quality of women outweighs budget? Is there any reason for a guy to risk a monger trip to Africa with many other spots available? I ask here because I know there are some well traveled mongers on this forum who may have experience on multiple continents who could offer an opinion.

Dude listen let's start off with Haiti. You claim racism but hell you fell to mention that with in South America there's a country called French Guiana that no one refers to as Latinos too. The same thing can be said about Suriname, Guyana, Dominica and Gerneda and I can keep going on. Brazil is a almost majority black self identify country. That many Latinos want them to represent themselves as Latinos, I provided the background on a pervious post. Whenever I had the discussion with those guys they always identified as Lusophone. Then again there's no movement to include Franco speaking nations in the Americas as Latino I don't think it's not because of race because again Brazilians are almost a majority black self identified nation. I met plenty of Brazilians and I even been to Brazil did you read everything I even wrote?

Posts: 98Latino has to do with language / culture unity which was a concept coined by the French to group together Latin speaking (French, Spanish, Portuguese) nations in the Americas. But you're partially right that it has to do with location (the Americas). But "Latin America" is NOT even a real geographical location but a language / cultural zone.

Posts: 98You don't even know what you are talking about. Brazilians are Latinos and always have been. Latino / Latin America is a FRENCH coined concept (not Spanish) which means countries of Latin speaking origins in the Americas. Haitians are also technically "latino" but aren't regarded as such due to obvious racist reasons. WTH are you even talking about? Have you met any Brazilians? Because many I met identify as Latino. And the French arent Latinos because they ARENT apart of the Americas / Latino=Latin speakers of Americas. Nothing more.

Posts: 98LOL. Why do you guys always say this nonsense? It depends on the individual woman at the end of the day. And I had much more genuine interactions with women in Rio than Sosua. Yes, lets generalize all women from a very large region. And what is "Black friendly" because yes the pale skinned Latinas maybe anti-male but I'll be damned if I lied and said I didn't have amazing experiences with the Black / Mulatta types in LA especially in Brasil, Colombia and Cuba. And I'm talking regular. So yea huge generalization. And Sosua is mid compared to other Latin locations. That maybe a YOU thing.

Posts: 18162Latino is not an ethnicity or culture and has nothing to do with language. It signifies the region of a person's heritage. It is about a location. So a person from Latin America would be Latino, but a person from France or Italy or Spain would not be.

I identify as Black American, but I do understand the concept of being called Afro-American.
From what you say, it seems that even people with Latin American heritage do not understand the concept of being called Latino and think it has to do with culture, language, etc when it does not.

I don't identify as African. Yet mother fucks want to call me African American. If I fly to any country on the African Continent they are going to ask me for my passport. If I pass immigration they are not going to say: Welcome home, they are going to say: Enjoy your visit.

Posts: 502Brazilians Are Not Latinos And The Proof Lies In Colonization
The question becomes are Italians Latinos? The answer is no. Are the French Latinos? The answer to that question is no! Why I mentioned those two nationalities it's because just like Portuguese their language overlaps with Spanish but it doesn't make them Latinos at all. This have been debated on social media since the MySpace era and in the streets of NYC since the movie "Beat Street". I remembered most Brazilians used to get highly offended when people classify them as a Latinos. Latino is only used to refer to individuals that are born in former Spanish colonies in the Americas whom have a distinct culture. And to be honest most indigenous people from Mexico, Belize and Guatemala don't identify as Latino neither.
