From their pictures the right turn is by the outdoor concrete seating with the metal rails. No doubt a few of the old timers were here then. I was here 2000 and 2003, before and after. TBH, red light districts then were huge and popular, but were every bit anti-foreigner as they are now. 588 was hit, but mostly miss, especially at night. There was definitely an 'A' row that was off limts to the foreigners. Yongsan was in the process of shutting down by 2003. Others were similar.

Not to be a downer, but more bad news on the state of the red lights in Pyeongtaek. About a year ago, it was pretty busy at night even if you couldn't touch the goods. Window shopping was still a nice go and fun to see what was possible. In the last year, the police have gone through and pretty much shut it down.
