I never visited Sosua during superbowl weekend but I've been during Halloween. Do you prefer the Superbowl weekend vibe? Or the Halloween weekend party scene? Anyone else can share their opinions.

If you have time, and a compatible lady, there are a number of places within striking distance of Sosua, that you can enjoy, if you like to get away from tourists.

A couple of weekends ago our dedicated publico driver (cracked windshield and all, LOL) took us to Playa Grande about 8 km East of Rio San Juan. It's a cheap and cheerful Dominican version of Cabarete. Good beach, lots of restaurants and great cooked to order seafood. A place where I came back nicely surprised at how little it all cost. Meals (I had lobster) and beer for us two and our driver, around 4000 p, taxi 3500 p there and back and he spent 9 hours with us.

Last weekend it was birthday time again. This time no grande fiesta, I told Princesa, just you and me (and our driver LOL) for a good dinner. I recommended Michaels in Charamicos, or the new Baylee's spot, but she wanted me to see more of the Puerto Plata area she knows well. Oh, ok!

She mentioned Maimon, for fresh seafood, which Mr. E referred to in an earlier post here. So let's go.

Again another surprise. We got there at 7 O'clock Friday Night, the place was empty, and so were the restaurants. Where is everybody? Princessa's recommendation, a huge restaurant, had one table only occupied, no trouble parking, but a big kitchen and happy staff that looked like they knew what they were doing, so what the hell!

Great mea! They weren't busy so we had the staff at our table being entertained by our driver. They cooked a special sampler plate to order for me, all my favorites, and fresh whole fish for the others.

Meals and beer for 3, 3800 p. Taxi there and back 3000 p, 5 hours total.

We were supposed to hit the famous Miami bar on PP Malecon for drinks on the way back, but it has changed name and ownership and looked run down! We were happy with full bellies just to go home, but our driver was disappointed his night out had ended!

Yeah she still beg for more but his objectives was achieve. Good service and still at a good price with an opportunity for a comeback encore performance in the future all because she won't feel like she's been hustled.

And with that being said Sosua aka the Piston aka the Bad Boys of mongering destination is back in the playoffs. Once again we fighting for the no 1 mongering destination because last time I can recall Mr. E picking up a street sweety in the SU and had good service was back in 2011 LOL. Now we just need to get the current king in knowledge of mexico mongering to re-bless us with his presence down here to get us back into the finals.

So I am in the bar on the corner drinking my Cuba libre and a chick that I saw in the window when I walked past Bar Central came in. She asked me to buy her a drink. I said what drink do you want. She said that she asked me for food, not a drink. Well shit, here is 200 pesos. She said it was not enough. I said the hell it ain't enough. I am not new around here. Yesterday in Navarette I bought 6 pieces of pica pollo, 1 order of fries, 1 order of tostones, and 2 drinks for 440 pesos. She was shocked that I was not like all the other suckers around there and told me that I knew too much.

I met 2 guys who were sitting in the window. One was from DC and the other from Toronto. We got to talking about shit then they asked me to go to Bar Central with them. I had to finish my drink first so they went ahead.

When I got there I went straight to the toilet then came back and ordered a drink. The guys were wondering how much the short time rooms were so I went to ask the lady behind the bar. Well since I never write these reports in a timely manner, I have fucking forgotten. I want to say she said 700 for 4 hours. The guys said so that really means 700 for 15 minutes. Because by the time the chick keeps rushing you and she gets you to nut, then she is running up out of there. Unless you want to stay in it alone for the other 3 hours and 45 minutes.

They started talking about the casino and I said I had never been there. I said that if I don't have a chick by midnight then waiting until 3 am to go somewhere else to look at the same chicks is not going to make a difference. They said we should go check out the casino but advised me it is a rather long walk. I said man I have a car. So we went up to in front of where they are rebuilding Clasico where I had parked, and jumped in the car.

They said first we should show you the after casino spot. They told me which way to go and we pulled up to a hut bar called Copacabana. The chick I saw in front of that corner bar earlier was there. The one that said how good she would suck my dick and lick my ass. I told her we had some other stuff to take care of but I would get back with her.

We jumped back in the ride and they took me to the casino. It was down near where I was staying. We went inside and it was ass empty. There were 3 hood chicks sitting at the bar.
