I think he still does own Windmill. Last time I saw him was a couple of years ago. I was messing with the cashier at Windmill and went to surprise her at work. When I was trying to pull on Windmill's door. He came out from the Windmill across and said they were in the midst of doing renovations and to come into that one. That happened to be the side the chicked worked in anyway. I told him that we are still waiting for him to open Lone Star again.

Nice to know, I remember Lone Star, price for a good baby back ribs dinner 179, in the end 375 hard to see making a profit paying the type of rent at that location along with the yearly key money. Not sure but at one time he owned ran next door fish and chip " jolly fair " sold a number of times final sale eating the new owners were a Thai couple who I knew ran illegal number etc. Purchase price 250,000 rent was 50,000 baht they not a clue as to how to run such a business. I didn't have the heart to tell them how many times it has been sold. Last owner Brit I had a disagreement as to how to make french fries they were oily and limp said that is how they supposed to be made. Luckily he found new owners who were more inept than him since he cooked the books. They do overpaid for a business already run to the ground.

Even before COVID hit it was close to closing after 6 month. Sadly COVID killed lots of cheap hole in the wall places to eat after rent and location were on the rise killed off what remain like the place " Surprise " I told the owners why Sukhumvit said rent price, I had suggested a hole in the wall location nearby rent higher but he would be able to keep his clientele. As you know he didn't last long on Sukhumvit.

It's the phenomenon of farangs that throw themselves off condos (hence the flying) to end their lives in the most spectacular way. Apparently, the past 2 years there have been quite a number of jumpers:

I mean, obviously some of these cases, they might have been pushed, or thrown over, but still. The point is that there seems to be a number of foreigners that go to Thailand to die. Digging in deeper to all this, I found a reddit thread where people spoke about one of my fav movies ever, Leaving Las Vegas, where Nic Cage ostensibly does this. He's given up on fighting his demons and his depression and his addictions and just wants to go out with a bang. Maybe that's what some of these jumpers are doing. I mean, if you got to go, why not go with a bang?

Granted, a lot of it has to do with the farangs running out of money because apparently their Thai girlfriends or wives wipe them clean financially. But that can't be true, just can't be true. Cause if it was true then why do more and more farang dudes show up to shack up with Thai chicks then? That's the very definition of insanity ain't it? Doing the same thing over and over again, expecting a different result.
