I'm arriving in BKK 21st April morning. Will there still be water activity on the streets or will it be over by then. Last year my holiday was ruined with water being thrown at me.

Just got back from Soi Cowboy tonight and honestly, it was madness. Songkran has the whole area packed and wild. Couldn't get anything done properly with the crowds, water, and general chaos everywhere.

Instead of wasting more time, I called up a girl I know from ThaiFriendly. She was already out partying in Nana (of course), and I figured she would be reluctant to leave the action, so I made her an offer she couldn't refuse. She's on her way over now.

Moral of the story: during Songkran, sometimes it's better to have a backup plan ready. Personally, I can't stand Songkran but at least the night looks like it's going to end well.
