Returned last week from 1st trip to pattaya, Bangkok. Great and fun time. I think on all fronts Bangkok just cost more. Pattaya my hotels nice, reasonable and included breakfast. Bangkok I stayed between nana, soi cowboy. Hotel older but clean, good location, soy 8 but 20% higher than pattaya, no breakfast and breakfast most places near $10. Also many ladyboys and can be tuff to spot. I had a tourguide and couple nights we sat outside of Nana and watched customers, ladyboys cross by us to go to st hotel. Most returned in 20-30 minute times pan so ladyboys must please many quickly. There were many freelancers in same area and few had business. And again all massage places more money than pattaya. I got quotes at wood bar and couple massage places. Wood bar was mid, late afternoon and selection poor, did not partake. I'm retirement age so pattaya targeted 30 plus year old ladies and couple places had 1000 baht barfine but easy to find ST for 1000-2500 all in and more difficult to find in Bangkok. BTS is great transportation in Bangkok. Used it many times including airport to leave. Very smooth, fast and great price.
