Posts: 12Hotel recommendations for long layover near Bogota airport
My arrival time at BOG is 4 am and I have a long layover; continuing on to Cartagena. Any recommendations on hotels near BOG airport, that facilities early morning check-ins and are Chica friendly? Thanks in advance.

With the Hoes it can be a trade-off. If you "negotiate" on price, they can cut the time short and leave you with blue balls. Or they will go to the bathroom and come out saying their "period just started", and you need to pay them for their time anyway. Or they will promise to spend the whole night and then get an emergency phone call from the hospital that their aunt is dying and they need to rush away immediately. Or they will not French kiss, not let you dine at the why, or will upcharge you for anything beyond a simple insertion with condom. Women are sneaky, and if you try to play them they will always try to "negotiate" things back to what they think they can get away with. After all, you cannot trust them, can you? You have to be careful so they do not slip scolamine in your drinks or food. You have to be careful and not turn your back on them so they do not steal any valuables once in your room. You have a room safe to lock up your passport and money.
I suggest you come back with a reasonable figure and be prepared to walk away, no haggling. Whenever I have done haggling the women lose face and under perform. Or you can pay list price for your cars at the dealorship too.

ATM may be tattooed on every gringo's forehead but it really doesn't take much effort to get normal prices.

When I travel, I do not haggle with the chicas; I do not have the time for that.
Yes, I speak Spanish.
I really do not give a damn about what others pay for putas; not worth my time.
BTW, every gringo has ATM tattooed on their forehead.

Posts: 4249See'Mon. Give the guy a break. He was a vacation visitor. Sure he paid more than he had to but it's not the end of the world. Fair enough to remind everybody of what market rates are.

Posts: 645Thanks for the awesome full report! But sorry man, you got the gringo pricing all around man. The only place where you didn't was at the one where the prices are up on the wall. You must have had tourist written on your forhead. Do you speak spanish?
Also, get used to the cold. I've never been in a hotel in Bogota that had heat.

Posts: 2792My return romp in Bogota!
Welcome to Bogota!
Welcome to the land of putas, arepas, thin air, and this trip, pinche rain! It mostly rained in the late afternoons and early evenings. The nicer parts of the city, like La Candelaria and Zona Rosa were quite clean. But I found some other areas were a bit trashy and riddled with graffiti. Having said that, I saw some incredible painted murals throughout the city. Because I am old and already walk slow, I did not have any issues with the 8,661 feet altitude.
Why return to Bogota?
Last time I was there was in August 2024. After that romp, I felt I only scratched the surface of the mongering scene. As well as other things to see, do, and eat in that huge city. I just had to return and explore more of the city!
Logistics & Other Stuff:
References:
I used three references: ISG, World Travel 69's maps, and Google search.
ISG:
Woodman09 I had the pleasure of meeting up with him during my last trip. He is the, "Boots on the ground dude. " If you have any questions, he is the one to ask. I HIGHLY recommend taking one of his tours, especially if you have very little knowledge of the Zona de Tolerancia.
Mr Enternational Whenever I want information on the down and dirty spots in a city, my brother always steers me in the right direction!
World Travel 69 I have known World Travel 69 since 2012. He is dedicated to creating maps for fellow mongers. He updates his maps from OUR trip reports. PM him if you have any questions.
Travel Insurance:
The SquareMouth web-site gave me over 50 quotes from over 50 different companies. I chose Trawick from National Mutual. It was for 6-days and cost $260.
Money:
All the money I quote is in COP, Colombian pesos. According to Oanda, the current rate is 4,270 COP to 1 US dollar. I just divided the currency by 4 and it worked out for me. For example, 100,000 COP was around 25 bucks. I arrived very late in Bogota and I decided to cash in some dollars at the airport at the exchange place next to baggage claim three; the crappy rate was 3,900. I used ATMs thereafter as needed. Tip from Woodman: You can pull 2,000,000 from the ATMs at Davivienda banks; around 500 US.
Flight:
I flew Aeromexico from Tijuana round-trip to Bogota. Each way, there was a layover in Mexico City. Total flight time was around 7 hours each way.
Immigration / Customs:
Because of my last trip to Colombia, I knew there was a Migration Form I needed to fill out called CheckMig. This is the website: migracioncolombia. Gov. Co. There you need to fill out the immigration registration form 72 hours before your trip OR up to 1 hour before.
It took me around 10 minutes to fill out the form and submit it. Once I did, within a few minutes, I received the document in my e-mail box. I had the completed form on my phone and I also printed the form out.
When I was going through immigration in Bogota, I was asked to show the completed form to the agent. I gave him the printed form. He also asked where I was staying during my trip; I showed him. He stamped my passport and I was done.
In customs I had to run my bags through the x-ray machine and that was it.
When I was returning, I completed the form online. But the only immigration process there was when I had to place my passport on some machine and the little doors opened to let me move on to security. The CheckMig form was not asked for and nobody stamped my passport.
Hotel:
Once again, I stayed at the Tequendama Suites in Centro Internacional.
PROS:
- Close distance to the Zona de Tolerancia.
- Safe location.
- Solid WiFi.
- Large rooms.
- Great staff and service.
- Free breakfast buffet from 6 to 10.
- Chica friendly First off, I registered for 2 people when I booked the room. When I brought home a bar chica at 3 am, I added her to my room. Otherwise, chicas were allowed in my room after they registered at the front desk and could stay until 9 pm. The front desk always called my room before and after for confirmation.
CONS:
- Rooms had NO heating.
- No free bottled water after the first day.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay!
Communication:
I have the T-Mobile Go5 GPlus55 plan; no worries whatsoever.
Transportation:
When I arrived at the airport, I did not see a taxi booth, so I just headed outside. All the taxis quoted the same price; 60. Because it was late and the streets were empty; the trip took around 20 minutes. Returning to the airport, my hotel called one of their van drivers and the cost was 40; I think.
Other forms of transportation:
Uber Reliable during the day and early evening; iffy late night. This trip, Uber offered Taxis to their options. For me, that was my choice during my stay. The wait times were shorter and the fares were lower.
Taxis Most of the drivers were older and had no concept regarding google maps. But when I gave them the physical address, they knew exactly where to go. And all the taxis I took off the street had meters.
Also, I met Duvan, a friend of the chica from Sixty-Nine. I paid him 50 k an hour. We ran the streets for two nights. I have his number of anyone is interested.
Spanish:
During my stay, I did not hear any English, which included my hotel, restaurants, drivers, and putas.
Restaurants:
I did a lot of research before I left and here are my thoughts on the food scene:
Pajare Salinas. Outstanding.
Dona Elvira Excellent.
La Casa Outstanding.
Tierra Chapinero Outstanding.
La Kaska 106 Excellent.
After going to Colombia for several years, I would be the first to tell others do not travel to Colombia for the food. However the nicer restaurants had some great chow!
Overall, the food was pretty damn good. There was an abundant amount of street food venders scattered throughout the city.
Strip / table dance clubs:
In each club, I asked several questions and wrote down the answers as usual. Thus, if I am wrong; correct me please. I wrote down the lowest ficha price. Also, none of the clubs I visited had a cover charge. In most of the clubs, there was only bottle service available.
Club: Sixty-Nine.
Ficha: 30.
Sex: 200 for 20 minutes.
On Site: Yes.
Number / quality of chicas: 30+, good to hot.
Day / Time: Friday /11.
Comments: This club did not seem to offer anything else but bottle service. A sweetie sat with me and we shared a half-bottle of Baileys.
She (Chica69) asked me to take her out of the bar, but I told her I was headed to other clubs. She wanted to go too! She said it was a $35 exit (bar fine) and $100 for TLN. (all US dollars) I thought, "Why in the hell not?" Thus, off we went!
Club: Lido.
Ficha: Same drink prices as mine.
Sex: I was quoted $200, $300, and $400 for an hour Plus, $80 for the room (all US dollars).
On Site: Yes.
Number / quality of chicas: 40+, very good to fucking hot.
Day / Time: Friday /12.
Comments: I loved this place last time I was there. Most of the chicas were hot! Chica69 also loved the place and she was grabbing all the body parts she could, with my dollar bills of course. Even if you do not want to pay their prices for their services; the place is worth the visit!
Club: Mora Mora.
Ficha: 30.
Sex: 150 to 200 for 20 minutes.
On Site: Yes.
Number / quality of chicas: 50+, good to very hot.
Day / Time: Friday /1.
Comments: This club had a long stage and Chica69 and I had stage seats. When I gave chicas a dollar, first they made me stand up, then they swung on an overhead bar, and finally straddled my face between their thighs; hell fucken yeah! A great club to visit!
Club: Pasarela.
Ficha: 25.
Sex: 150 for 20 minutes.
On Site: Yes.
Number / quality of chicas: 30+, good to hot.
Day / Time: Friday /2.
Comments: This club was a smaller place and next to Mora Mora. At first, they would not let Chica69 into the club, but a nice tip opens doors faster than my x-wife left me broke! The club only had bottle service, so I bought a half-bottle of tequila and shared it with my new novia; forgot her name already. I know, I am a crappy novio!
Club: Pussy House.
Ficha: 30.
Sex: 200 for 20 minutes.
On Site: Yes.
Number / quality of chicas: 40+, good with a few hotties in the mix.
Day / Time: Saturday /11:30.
Comments: First off, enough of the pinche stairs! It seemed there were more chunky chicas than I saw last August. I guess it did not help with all of them wearing white. I was there for around 40 minutes and no one danced on the stage; I bailed.
Club: Happy House.
Number / quality of chicas: 5, would do in a pinch to OK.
Day / Time: Saturday /12.
Comments: As I walked out of Pussy House, I saw this small place. The place was nothing special. It was all bottle service and for me, it was not worth my time to hang around; I bailed again.
Club: Atonis.
Ficha: 30.
Sex: 200 for 30 minutes.
On Site: Yes.
Number / quality of chicas: 30+, good to hot.
Day / Time: Saturday /1.
Comments: After I stopped in at Troya, which was packed, I decided to check out Atonis. That place was packed as well. I met a chica that stirred my interest, so we fell in love for 30 minutes. Nice romp and a nice club to boot.
Club: Rosquillas Bar.
Ficha: Cheap!
Sex: 50 for 20 and 60 for 30.
On Site: Yes.
Number / quality of chicas: 6, good to one hottie.
Day / Time: Sunday /4 pm.
Hours: 9 am to 10 pm.
Comments: I walked in this small club and I was happy as hell with their prices! I plopped down next to the hottie and quickly bought her a beer. There was one dude that kept yelling her name from across the room, but she was occupied pendejo! I had a great time with her and enjoyed the place!
Club: Linares Punto 48.
Ficha: 20.
Sex: 200 for 20 minutes.
On Site: Yes.
Number / quality of chicas: 6, OK to good (told 30+ on Friday / Saturday).
Day / Time: Sunday /11.
Comments: This was a three-story (purple painted) club and a rather strange place. Because I went on a Sunday night, there was limited action. I sat down with a cutie, but her breath would put puppies to shame! I stayed long enough to finish my drink, and then, I bailed.
Club: Fiebre.
Ficha: 25.
Sex: 350 for 25 minutes (last August the price was 150 for 30 minutes).
On Site: Yes.
Number / quality of chicas: 20+, good to hot.
Day / Time: Sunday / midnight.
Comments: Because all the other clubs were dead, Fiebre was the only place that had a good amount of chicas. I had a drink with a senorita silicona. That was a nice way to end my romp.
Spa: Spa Chicas:
Ficha: 2 bucks.
Sex: 4 women for 2 hours, 340 k (85 K each).
On Site: Yes.
Number / quality of chicas: I saw 5, decent to good.
Address: Cra 17 #53-38.
Hours: 11 am to 9 pm.
Day / Time: Friday /6.
Comments: When I arrived in this place, I told the chica I did not have enough time for 2 hours. Thus, I had two chicas for an hour at a discounted rate. They were fun and I left quite satisfied. Friendly staff and fun chicas!
Places I could not find OR I ran out of time:
Sanram Looked everywhere; no luck.
Sensual Ran out of time.
Tronos Swinger club.
Fercho's VIP Ran out of time.
California Could not find OR I got there too late.
Street Girls:
I did not spend much time in the Zona de Tolerancia, thus, I only saw some street girls in the evenings in that area and never asked about prices.
Escorts:
As I was skimming through the ads on Mileroticos and Photoprepagos, the prices ranged from 100 to 400 for an hour. They all wanted more money for "oral al natural. " I had only one escort during my romp and the cost was 300 and included, "oral al natural. ".
Final thoughts on Bogota:
It was a seeking putas and eating good food trip. I thought the city was quite safe and I never felt threaten in any manner. The city was huge! I felt I spent a good amount of time in taxis / Ubers. Would I ever return to Bogota? Not sure at this point. Overall, I had a great time! Would I recommend it to other mongers? Absolutely!
Como siempre, ‘Solo mis dos pinche pesos, por supuesto!
