What's up everyone! Hope to meet some of you during my trip May 3rd through May 10th. I'll be staying at Haven Hotel. I'm already busy trying to make contacts with Chicas on Seeking, FB, and Bumble. Yes, I am aware of the risks with these girls, and I am actually quite nervous about it. I may just stick to Casas and paid escort sites at the end of the day.

But I wanted to run some ideas past this group to get your feedback. Ideally, it would be great if I trusted that I could drink, eat, and relax with some hot Colombian women todos LOS noches, and not have a care in the world. But sadly, for a newbie, with bad Spanish, and a Gringo, I know that's not the case. That is a recipe to get drugged and robbed.

So, my thought is that I will stick to one hour dates in my hotel. Girls need ID to enter. I will not drink or eat anything around them. Wouldn't this be a decent enough strategy to stay safe.

I know these girls doing the druggings are experts, and they can make the guy feel comfortable and let his guard down. That is my only concern. So I might have to have a rule that I don't see a girl more than once, or I don't allow any woman over for more than one hour. What do you all think?

First, I see photos/reports weekly about guys waiting 2, 3, 4 hours in line. So, you only waiting one hour is great for you. I go thru the Colombian line and wait 5 minutes, so I'm not bitching about it from my perspective, just wondering if some guys noticed these type of things in the downfall stage of other destinations. Every place has it's Golden Age, and my point/question is whether or not the veterans that know both Medellin and another former glorious location are seeing indications similar to what they witnessed in the past before the prime years ended. For example, I have a buddy who used to fly from USA to Rio de Janeiro for 24 hours. (Club) Help was legendary. My first trip was just after Help closed. I still loved it there. I continue to go back, but it's much further away and I don't speak much Portuguese. I heard about the heyday in Costa Rica or Venezuela or Romania. For me, I can't stand places like Pattaya or Angeles City. I enjoy walking the path before it turns into a highway. What I see now in Medellin is all these influencers that don't know shit about the city or the culture posting as if they do, groups of 8-10 guys going to La Isla and throwing around Monopoly money. Guys coming with sandals, shorts, chains, Rolexes, etc. And being robbed by some ugly chick. I'm just wondering if others with more experience are seeing anything that makes them think this could be headed in the wrong direction with no chance of return. I personally know guys that offer 100 dollars for what I would say is an average chick. My first trips to Colombia, girls couldn't just get a passport and skip town to Madrid or Dubai to make Euros. Girls didn't go on social media and see hundreds of Paisas living the life in other countries or independent peers living in their new apartment they bought with OF money. The expectations are much higher and I feel there has been a power shift towards the favor of the Paisas. Times have changed, times will continue to change, but I want to be on my toes and try to find the next Medellin before Medellin becomes the next San Jose. I could be jaded, I admit that. I was paying 100-150 COP during the pandemic to non-hardcore beautiful fun young chicks. I see them now, and they are 25yo and have been to 5-6 countries, and their prices are ridiculous. They are not the brightest bulbs. A girl with photos in Dubai, London, Madrid, Tulum, and Rio de Janeiro on her profile does not excite me. I know how to do the math and I know what her history likely is. I have been with dozens upon dozens of Paisas for free, so when some Facebook chick says 600k or an "influencer" says 1 million, or a Lleras girl says 400k, I just wonder if the window is closing on the great times. There will still be good times, no doubt. I have buddies here with 2-3 girls going in and out every day, and they are loving their lives. However, they are new here. I get it. I also have some older buddies with local normal girlfriends; they are happy. I guess I am more prone to staying on the hunt and not being stagnant. So, if some of the ol' bucks can weigh-in, that would be appreciated.

Yes, this is also my experience having been going to Medellin / BGT for years. I think it's hit the 'mainstream' which is making the supply / demand curves fluctuate in a way that is bad for old timers. The issue is, if you're unable to speak to the locals properly you'll get priced out or the quality drops. Or even worse, as you say the paisa's get very confident with their prices and it's bad for everyone (including them, as they're not always at capacity either). I wonder what the next "glorius location" will be.

I've seen the long lines on the4 TV news and on facebook. I think it's a bad combination of fewer agents working Easter week and many more travelers coming here for the holiday. Hopefully it will calm down beginning today.

I have heard that it is for people with disabilities and senior citizens.

62 is the minimum age for the Metro senior citizen fare. I'm guessing it doesn't cost the Metro much because there can't be many people that age who could survive the rush hour crush.

I can't speak from experience but 60+ is considered a senior citizen in Colombia.

I'm currently in Medellin for a few days, staying at the Nutibara Hotel in El Centro, and quite frankly, even though the place is a bit dangerous, if you're careful you'll never have any problems. It's true that there are mainly Venezuelan women working, but there are many who are very young and very pretty, between 18 and 22 years old. My favorites.

You can fuck them for 50 000 pesos, and 100 000 pesos bareback! If you treat them good, you'll never have any problems. Everyday I fuck 2 girls, 1 during the day and one 1 I bring the evening in my hotel.

There are a number of swinger clubs near Laureles. The biggest one is Lujuria Swinger Club, and another popular one is Club LifeStyle Swinger. There are others as well. You will find that the biggest crowds are on Friday and Saturday nights (especially Saturday), but those are typically couples-only nights. Therefore, you will want to bring a girl (which I recommend anyways). All the clubs also have nights for single guys, known as "gang bang nights," where they hire a couple of girls and single guys pay to participate. These nights are usually on slower nights and vary by club. However, from a "viewing" perspective, I find that Colombia swinger clubs are more laid-back and have less hardcore action compared to European or American swinger clubs. So, your viewing experience may vary.

I think the overall trend is that Medellin is going in the wrong direction. Too many weekend warriors coming in and ruining it. That being said, if you go outside of the main tourist places where the gringos and passport Bros are afraid to go then I think good value can still be found.

You have to go into the barrios like Santo Domingo popular and bello to find down to earth paisa chicas. You have to speak Spanish and know the local lingo. You have to incorporate yourself into the Colombian culture and basically become a local then you will find the value.

But if you are just going to el Poblado then you will find the rip off artists that are targeting the gringo tourists. Centro may still have cheap sex but mostly Venecas not Paisas and I don't think it's as good as it used to be.

There's seems to be two parallel markets evolving in medallo, one geared toward the weekend warriors and one geared toward the locals. You will just have to know in which pond to go fishing to find what you're looking for, you don't go to Cancun to catch your king salmon.

Immigration lines are long but usually not that long. I usually wait about one hour. Yes, a lot of old timers whining and complaining about the way it has changed from 10-15 years ago but most of us have not been coming to Medellin so long. We only know the Medellin the way it has been recently. The reason the immigration lines are so long and so many men are coming is that Medellin is still good. If it wasn't, there wouldn't be so many people coming. As for whether most men spending money like crazy, I don't think you can really gauge that. What is your method of calculating how much most men are spending in Medellin? I just spend what I want to spend and I don't worry about what others are spending. No sense worrying about things out of your control.

Yes, I know that there are some who believe that other men are causing the price they pay to rise but Medellin is a big city and there are many available women.

Let the Gringos stay in Poblado, Provenza, Parque Lleras and roam Calle 10. Leave them there. Most are too scared to go anywhere outside of their "Bubble" and that's great.
