As I mentioned before, of the 365 k IDR, 20 k goes to the mamasan, 100 k goes to the girl. Of the 500 k IDR, 40 k goes to the mamasan, 90 k goes to each girl.

One of the girls I talked with said she did 9-10 a night. There really has been enough said about Classic, so my only advice for your first time would be to see if you can chill for 10 minutes before getting inundated by MMS, if you order a drink they'll give you five minutes, but then just take one they offer you, do that for an hour. When you come back they'll leave you alone to chill if you say you just got back, this gives prime people watching time. Chill for 30 or 40 minutes and you can see how thing operate and it's fun to watch anyway, have a drink then find the girl you really like.

Initial report:

I spaced out and forgot to apply for an EVisa, which meant I had to stand in the deadly Visa on Arrival line. The wait was long, the actual processing was fast, and the cost was $35.

While I was in line, I completed my customs form online (at the end you get a QR code), and set up an Indonesian Grab account.

I didn't get a SIM card, so I used the airport WiFi to get a Grab taxi into town (less than 300 K).

Classic Hotel has a fancy ground floor, but the rooms are not so fancy. The WiFi is spotty.

The first night, I plan to rest up. The report on the 365 K ladies will come later.

I think it's definitely with tips and not just salary from the bar.

It also aligns with what I've been told from experience. A lady I knew from Classic told me she easily clears 20 million a month. This is exceptionally good income for someone without a college degree in Indonesia. In 2022, I met a 27 year old college educated office worker in Jakarta on seeking and she told me her monthly salary was 7 million. Understandable then why she was on seeking charging 2 million.

One lady I knew from a recent trip posted a picture of money in their WA story after she finished work for the day. It was about 1. 2 million. Unsure though if that was just tips for the day or tips and salary. (I don't know if they get paid daily or monthly, but I would assume monthly so that was just tips).

I assume the ad was for work at her bar. Apparently the girls have everything paid for, including accommodation, food, transportation and hair dresser.

You're right. But I think you misunderstood me. In that moment, what you're saying is true. But usually, they work off large amounts of debt, and what they get is their discretionary portion. Ask them!

Well according to what some of the guys here ISG report that they are tipping, I would argue that they often make much more than 90 k or 100 k per session. I'll admit I pay a little extra for bareback but some of you guys are giving them an extra 200 k or more just because you think it is cool to give out money.

To find out what's really going on, I would ask the question: Why do you work here for so little money and not start somewhere else? Is a tip for the mamasan included, or is it extra?

Unless it has changed since I was last there in late December, then it is 365 k and there is no tip to the mamasan or the girl required.

I would literally pay with 400 k and the mamasan would bring my change back to me Everytime always 35 k a 20 k 10 k and 5 k stapled together. That is in terminal 2, in terminal 5 it is the same price and same procedure but no staple.

There is a 5 k entrance fee that is charged at the end when you turn in your bracelet however that is not a tip.

Nowadays there are telegram / line / whatsapp groups for nearly all sexpat cities out there. Do we have something similar for Jakarta? A chat group for people actually on site? I have an upcoming trip. Will probably be working remotely from there as well (still deciding for how long in between Jakarta & Phnom Penh) so planning on staying 1-2 months.

And given the scene in Jakarta seems less obvious and transparent than lets say Angeles or Pattaya I would appreciate some back and forth with people on the ground and organize meetups as well.

Would appreciate a PM with a link if noone wants to post here.
