Maybe if I were a BKK resident I would balk at what I paid. Compared to my current situation it's insane though. Having 2 hot strippers all over you (would have to be in VIP), drinks, lap dances x 30 min, taking one home OTC, BBBJ, BBFS. You are talking $1500-2000 in USA major cities these days no lie. So no regrets.

OK an update. Tonight (Monday) I noticed less action on the streets (as I had read) but certainly not dead. I was tempted by a few encounters but nothing that made me pull the trigger.

Walked into Geisha, was seated in front of the soapy girls (2 thumbs up for that situation for sure) and bought a drink. If anyone can explain how they handle clinging gogo bar girls that you're not interested in, I would appreciate that. I am not a seasoned strip club pro.

Yeah, ask for a line-up, and don't pay until after you've chosen a girl. A few shops refuse to give a line-up, but lets help keep those in the minority by walking out if they refuse.
Shops often also try to get newbies to pay before they've chosen a girl, which makes it more complicated to simply say "I come back another time" if you don't see anyone you like.

Go-go girls: just tell her clearly and politely "no, thank you". If she's still there after that, turn away from her, even move away a bit if she's sitting on a bench next to you, and ignore her completely. Look for other girls. Other girls will pick up with no problem that you are not interested in the girl sitting next to you and join you if you wink them down, by which point even the most obtuse of other girls will get the hint.

That said, if the girl is nice, just not attractive to you, there's no harm in offering her a drink just to be nice. I sometimes do that, and as long as you can handle things well (simply making it clear to her you're not interested in barfining her or anything like that, but you can talk and joke and even squeeze a boob or two for fun), there's no problem asking another girl you actually do want to bang to join you.
