If you look at the link below you will see only one tide a day. It also shows the strange profile where the tide appears reluctant to go out on some days.

High tide is about 10pm tonight, but it's about 6am tomorrow before it starts going out properly.

Its lending towards Anchan, just out of looking att the bookingsite pictures. Any thoughts about this two hotels? Any other suggestion?

Not that sensitive about prices but Hilton for example don't seem better than the above.

Most times it takes twice as long to go out as come back in again.
That's a good point about the water fully covering the beach. Last trip to Hua Hin I picked a nice beachfront hotel well north of city center and found that the water came all the way to the hotel's sea wall. Only low tide left a beach that could be walked.

Yes, Hua Hin has some nice beaches, but not as good as Phuket. I have been to Phuket once and Hua Hin many times.

The beaches at Hua Hin and the surrounding area are just fine. Hua Hin is a totally different experience but worthwhile. You should know the mongering scene is far smaller there as well.

    How about the beaches?

An escort could also work if there's a good place for that. I will also look on ThaiFriendly, which is still one of my favorite methods.
Take a look at the massage shops on Poonsuk near Hua Hin 57 end, also around the corner both ways on Hua Hin 57, plus onto the northern end of Naebkerhardt, or along Selakam Road running off Poonsuk. Another place to try is Meesub 88 Massage at the front of Visa Hotel (where I always stay), they have quite a few young ones working there every time I stop, and yes half the time they have offered up sex quite easily.

Anyone down to meet will be there from Feb 20-23.

    Cheers.

On level 1 (by door 8 I believe) you will see a ticket booth for Pattaya / Hua Hin. Buy your ticket there and they will point you in the right direction. I did not buy ticket ahead of time and had no problem. This was in October. I think buses leave every 30 minutes with the last leaving at 5 PM. It wasn't a long walk to the buses.
