Hotel Las Palmas. This was the hotel I stayed at in 2001, they were one of the few that would let you take girls to your room. If you went to the lobby at about 2 AM there would be a dozen or so girls waiting for their friends that were in the rooms with men. You'd walk in the door and they would all perk up, hoping that you'd grab one of them at the last minute. I didn't walk in there, but I should have peeked in to see if it were still the case.

Also the hotel that I started staying in. It was 89 soles. Then I went one day and the price was bumped up to 279 soles. I have been staying in Lince ever since.

So, I haven't posted in the last few days because I've been busy. Lima is so much better for me than that clusterfuck that happened in the Dominican Republic.

Anyway, this place is more my speed. I tried a chongo once and was actually sort of grossed out by it, I have no interest in them. The rip off strip clubs that the taxi drivers keep begging me to go to I avoid. So, for me it's been a few things. One is talking to women in public and getting their numbers. In a way, this is actually easy here. If a woman actually speaks to me for more than five minutes, I end up getting her number. The hard part is to get a woman here to acknowledge your existence. Once that occurs, you're 90% there. Yes, I'm been here less than a week and I'm actually dating a local (and with the exception of daily lunches) not paying for it. When she's working, I go get online and use the links that someone posted here a few months back and get someone to either come to my place or go their place for 200 soles or less.

While I'm thinking of it, I want to thank Questner for his information about the bank. It appears you can only get about 400 soles at a time from the banks here and they all charge a fee of 25-40 soles. This was pissing me off greatly as I'm basically paying $6 to get about $100. The bank he mentioned is the ONLY bank that does not charge a fee. So, while the $6 fee wasn't hurting me, every time I went to an ATM I would get pissed because I couldn't get more than $100 and they were charging me more than they would at home.

I also wanted to thank the person that wrote the long report with all the links and just spent 10 minutes trying to find it and it was Questner again. My day is basically wake up, call one of the girls in from those links (about 150-200 soles), meet my "girlfriend" for lunch. She leaves for work at 5, I call another girl from those links, see her. Take a nap, then go to the discotecas. Those links are the best thing ever. If we're ever in Lima together, I owe you a chica.

So, last time I was in Lima was around 2001 ish. When I got here, I went to see how things have changes:

Pizza Alley. Is still there, of course it's different. In 2001, I met numerous women there. Many of them were there to meet men, very few were actual "pros" but they'd fuck you if you offered them money. Now, you can still sit outside and people watch, but none of that is going on. That street has by far the ugliest looking group of streetwalkers that I've ever seen. Seriously, I'd be embarrassed to be even caught talking to any of them. On Tuesday, night I was there and this streetwalker latched onto me and would not go away. It was funny because she was being really aggressive and persistent, but I just left Sosua, compared to there, she's an amateur. At any point, I think I may have seen all of them in 2001 when I was here because all of them are really old and they try to cake tons of make up on their faces hoping that we won't notice.

So, I flew in from Santo Domingo last night and after all the noise, dirt, scammers, rats and trash, Lima was just a huge relief.

It is quiet here. Everyone isn't blasting music 24 hours a day. No scammers (except the Taxi driver, of course, I'll post about him later). I'm staying in Barranco next to City Hall and a large number of discotecas. I immediately went out and hit the bars and everyone was all young. I then remembered things about Peru from years ago. The way people date here (or at least years ago when I was here) is they go out in groups. I remember having several dates last time and the girl would bring a friend because if someone saw her alone with a strange guy they would tell everyone she was a working girl.

So, I sat in a discoteca and started talking to the waitress. She was 20 and left Venezuela 2 years ago and sends money back to her family each week. So, I wasn't surprised when I asked her to lunch and she immediately accepted. We are going out tomorrow.

I put up a new ad on Tinder that basically said, "I'm in town for 10 days, looking for someone to go out dancing with me and come to my place after". As per Tinder rules, I didn't mention compensation but it was implied. I immediately got a hit from an extremely attractive (to me) 24 year old that just left my place. Anyway, she was a few blocks away and had to pay the taxi. So, now I'm pissed because if she had got on Whatsapp and gave me the price, I would've said no. We finally meet and she was the cutest, sweetest, bubbly and fun person that I had encountered in years (if not decades). We sat for awhile talking and then went back to my place. At my place, she told me her friend encouraged her to go on Tinder about 10 days ago and make money from sex. She said she loves it. Her life has been so boring and now she meets up with a guy and doesn't know what will happen and it gets her all excited. She also gets paid. We then basically had sex for 2 1/2 hours straight (we took a 5 minute break). She was yelling so loud, I had to turn on the music loud because I was worried the neighbors would complain. I have another lower priced Tinder girl scheduled for tomorrow evening. I think I'm going to like this place.

This was an interesting and informative read. Massage parlours is something I am reading up on, I definitely want to go to some good places where the girls give oral and sex. But it doesn't seem that there are many in Lima, unlike say Cali in Colombia.

Also is their any good spa you guys recommend? The Baños Turcos PALACE in san borja is "fine" but the women are way old and a lot of them for work done. Just wondering how the locals came to name the Lima bean? Did it originate in Lima, Peru? Did it have a sexual context, like someone's dick was shaped like a lima bean?

Not sure why they call bean soup Chile, did it originate in Chile SA?

Use MultiRed ATM at Banco de La Nacion. Use your credit card for purchases as well. Traveler's checks belong to the past. Rate is stable, you can always verify with the Bank of Peru web site. Street exchange is widely available at your own risk.

Thank you. I have no clue why I didn't use ATMs there. I figured there had to be a reason, I just remember I made a concerted effort to bring cash and use Traveler's checks. Probably just a different era.

So this is a rather stupid question. I'll be there next week. The last time I was there was 2004. Back then, I remember bringing USD cash and exchanging with one of the street changers on the corner. He had manipulated a calculator so to read incorrect amounts that he would hand you (I'm an accountant and immediately caught this).

Anyway, now I generally just use my debit card at the ATM to get the best exchange rate, but I remember on that trip, I used travelers checks and cash that I brought. Is there an official exchange rate that is vastly different from the street rate. Like Cuba or Venezuela? For the life of me I think there had to be a reason for me to avoid ATMs.

I heard there was a lot of shopping over in Magdalena so I went looking for gift ideas or anything of interest. I didn't really find much that I wanted and out of boredom looked on google maps for a masaje. Turns out the place is full of establishments of varying facilities and staff.

Glael--just avoid. Entry level massage is 70 soles but the facilities are poor, despite their ads, and the girl wanted something like 600 soles for a topless handjob.

Karle's massage--They have a shower and decent facilities. The girl was ok. I don't know exactly what she would have done but she got totally nude and bent over when I got off the table and stepped behind her. Would she have done BBFS? Colmena at 10:30 am, low traffic, plenty of girls. Only saw one that was barely good enough. It was either her or walk to Sirenitas. She ended up giving stellar service for 40.
