The biggest problem in Trkiye is economic. Purchasing power has decreased a lot. Prices of everything increase every day, so the prices of hanging out are also increasing. Istanbul is far from being a good place to hang out.

I would like to correct some information provided in Iceachilles' report: the Arcade Hotel is located in Osmanbey, not between the Grand Bazaar and the Blue Mosque, as this could be confusing with the Arcadia Blue Hotel, which I visited. This one doesn't accept non-resident visitors for the spa.

Anyway, I visited the Arcade Hotel in Osmanbey. I paid 2600 tl for a 45-minute massage and 700 tl for a HJ service. The massage and HJ were excellent. The girls are Thai, physically not my type, a little overweight, but very nice.

An okay experience, but I won't be back because I couldn't find a FS option. Since the girl don't suit my taste.

I would like to start off by thanking Edcota05 for the information that he provided. As I am a person who is looking only for HJ / BJ, the FS was not something I was interested in. Based on Edcota05's recommendation, I went to Arcade hotel. The spa is in the lower levels. It is a small spa with nothing too special to write home about. They do have the Hamman (I think that's how you spell it).

I went in, and was quoted in Euros. I am unsure if it is because I look like a foreigner, but that was what I was quoted. There were different massages, and different packages. I chose the 60 min massage and the 30 min hamman. Total quote was $125 Euros even though the book said $110. I was unable to get the quoted Lira price. I don't know why.

What I didn't like was that I got the massage first. I just got off of a long flight, so wanted to shower. I was conscience that I might smell, but the hamman came after the massage, not before. The massage was hard, but softer than in Asia, so I was a little bit disappointed in that. On the flip, was quote 1500 lira for the HJ. Brought it down to 1000. Overall, I had a hard time communicating as the person didn't really speak any English. I also couldn't get any reception as it was basement 2 so google translate was not working. Nothing to write home about, but felt really relaxed once it was done.

This is why I thought it was a deal for a massage and hamman for 125 euros. I don't know what others think. Overall, I would definitely go back, but will try the other hotel that Edcota05 recommended.
