Posts: 22That is one of my biggest fears. Too drunk with too sharp of an escort in my crib after doing enough traveling / mongering. Ironically, I'd rather be more fucked up in a brothel or massage parlor with minimal on me. Last time I made that mistake was in Bali-raw dogged the girl and then spent the next couple days scrambling for PREP. I missed my buddy's pre-wedding jungle tour outing LOL.
Appreciate the input guys. I'm not a religious person at all so I'm going to steer away the discussions away from that. Regardless, my Spanish is primitive. There's no room to really talk about the bible and moral values hahaha.
$70-80 sounds slightly more than a couple years ago but not absurd. I remember telling girls to fuck off if they ask me for 140-160.
To all the vets- yes, it's better to work the street market / negotiate. But I still feel a severe disadvantage if I'm leaning on a translator. You speak somebody's language and things are on a different level / easier / cheaper.
There is one gal who I did work it like that- we'll prob end up having a couple drinks at her cousins bar along with that honey shit liquor.

I have used Tinder for years in DR and have had NO problem with getting pussy. The days of going to a bar and finding it loaded with 8's-10's are far, far over. The chicas have migrated to an online platform for a plethora of reasons (safety, cheaper, and discretion). BL. You have to evolve. I have 2-3 chikas on standby every time I go to the Su, ages are 19-24 and are in college, no kids. And trust me, I am average at best.
Just my two cents.

Posts: 18154I would not read too much into that. I reported in 2018 about a lawyer I met on the plane and it was her first time coming to the states. When I met her on the plane she was reading her bible. The day after that I took her to a club and we came to my house and fucked. She ended up moving to my city. I am not a christian, but on Mother's Day I took her to church with my mom. She eventually became a preacher and me and my mom went to see her preach (in Spanish of course. She still does not speak English). After I finish fucking her in the ass she always takes her bible out and start reading. I have been seeing her for years. They can compartmentalize. Just because they are into one thing totally opposite of another, that does not mean they can not do both. Besides, the biggest freaks are in the church.

Posts: 164I don't know what I am, I grew up Baptist; black Southern Baptist and my Sunday was basically in church from Sunday school at 7 am until service ended at like 5 pm. 5 pm was like if no one was feeling the Spirit. Sometimes it went longer. As an adult, I don't say I don't believe in a God, but I think the Church (es) have it wrong. The only thing that I truly enjoy about it is the music and they did a damn fine job of it last night. They definitely do church well.

I didn't expect to see them get so heavily into it. As a matter of fact, by the end of the service at 11 ish there were numerous chicas, arms in the air swaying back and forth. Again, for me growing up Baptist, this was totally unexpected as it contradicts everything I've been taught.
Anyway, ended up with spending the evening with a lady that was trying to get me to eat at the restaurant she worked at. I asked her what time she was done and she said if I was taking her out, then she's off work now. Went to a couple of discotecas and bars nowhere near the main drag (she refused to go anywhere on that part of the strip and church was going on). Didnt touch her and she's supposed to come over tomorrow and go to Playa Alicia with me. Didn't ask for money, but I gave her a few hundred for a moto. I have a tinge of guilt because minutes after she left, I had someone from Tinder meeting me.
Friday night was a disaster, I had not touched alcohol this year and drank Friday night. I was more drunk than I thought and forgot where I hid my wallet when we got to my room. So, we spent about 30 minutes searching for my wallet so I could pay her. The bad part is that I generally bring a few thousand dollars with me and divide it up and stash it in various locations in my condo. I thought no one would ever look in those spots. She found all of them in less than 5 minutes, but not my wallet. She didn't take any money, but she basically looked around the condo and immediately picked out the spots where money was hidden. I took inventory this morning and it's all there with the exception of 4000 pesos, I'm assuming I moved that when I was drunk and forgot. She did find the wallet, I had put it underneath some clothes and it fell behind a dresser.
It appears the going rate is 80 now. It may not be the going rate, but everyone starts at $80, if I don't give a yes or no, it drops to $70. I had a couple say $60 and one who said 2500 pesos. I don't barter, so I do $80 and give them $100 when they leave (sorry).

On of the great ironies of the Dominican Culture isn't it? Without getting into trouble about religion I'm completely uncertain of the religious teaching that support the activities that regularly occur in Sosua. Just a thought.

Yeah if you're an atheist and also NOT a family oriented guy its going to be EXTREMELY difficult to ever relate to the culture down there. Youll still be able to smash hunnies aplenty but that's as far as youll go. Sex and then awkward silence followed by do you want to go get something to eat. But hey if that's your ultimate goal then rock-on. One thing about that island is that you'll find what your heart truly desires. Enjoy yourself and keep us posted on your adventures.

Posts: 18154You should have told her that you listened to god and he said that she would give you that pussy for 1500 pesos.

Posts: 164To add to my last post. Don't tell people you're not religious here. Even the chicas look at you funny if you're not.
I had to add to this post to REALLY emphasize this. I was just lectured by a chica about how I should always listen to God before she stormed off.

Posts: 164Tonight, Saturday, they closed down the main street in Sosua to have church. It's now 9:30, all the bars are empty and there is someone on a stage in the middle of the street preaching while several hundred people are in attendance. Guys that are here for the weekend are pissed. Chicas have slowly been coming out, but this is a religious country and only the hardcore are out. I do have to say, they church pretty hard here.
If you're here now. Use Tinder, I arrived at 3 pm yesterday and have 15 messages and 150 likes so far.

Where is TMBTS now? Their website doesn't work anymore. There are multiple Facebook pages and cannot tell which if any are real.

Posts: 497Thank You For Asking That Question On Rates of Services
On my last visit back in January 2025 the average rate requested was 4000 with many starting off with a 5000 offer. Very few was willing to accept 3000. Despite it being very slow most of the girls was walking away from a 4000 offer initially and later on that evening was going to take my 4000 offer and no lower.

Posts: 22Coming back for another trip
Hey everybody,
It's been about 2 years since my last visit. I was mongering in Aruba, Bali, St Maartens. Given my budget, I'm going back to the DR but I think I want to stay in Cabarete since its a nice resort town. I know the last time I was here there were changes with Sosua beach.
What's the going rate with the chicas / services now? I'm guessing things got more expensive given all the current complaining and no trip posts.
I usually rely on the dating apps to line up girls. I already have 5 girls I'm talking to on Tinder. It's too much. My spanish is awful to negotiate on the street and its easier to coordinate / pick girls to my taste with the apps. Last time I was here, I straight up kept passing a translator app back and forth for one call date at Margots LOL. I'll be hitting her back up again.
I'm coming next Saturday and staying through next Saturday. Any tips, advice, or grab a beer and watch playoffs (Warriors are my home town team) - let me know.

Posts: 201That's what I'm talking about. Perfect spot too. The rocks a little way down the beach are usually a bit more secluded, at least when I've been there. She ever give you that back rub?

I was chatting with a girl from Port au prince on Badoo recently and she said coyotes are charging upwards to $500 to get them across the border. There's certainly incentive for them to go to Sosua and get that back.

Posts: 2404Funny you should mention that, but I'm not surprised that you would be aware of Sosia's generous offer and help, rare at the time, to settle the Jewish refugees.

I lost close relatives in that War, and last year I reminded folks on ISG, that next day was Remembrance Day, with a tip of the hat to those who served.
