Posts: 6873Trump, the Elite Globalist Investors' president.
For the anti-Globalist MAGAs too stupid to know when they have been mercilessly conned by their lord and savior, we now have a clarification on that now iconic Trumpism, "The good parts of the economy are mine, the bad parts of the economy are Biden's. "
It turns out that to Trump the good parts, his parts, are the ones designed to help Elite Billionaire Globalist Investors to become wealthier at the great expense of everyone else and the bad parts, Biden's parts, were the ones that recovered the millions of jobs Trump wiped out last time, created millions more jobs than all three of the previous Repub presidents' policies combined, increased the purchasing power of the average American Worker by at least $1,400 per year over 2019's level, pre Trump's Pandemic, and yes, adjusted for inflation, actually passed historic bipartisan infrastructure project legislation, produced the Envy of the World Economy, etc.
Sorry to break it to you, you dumb Repub hillbilly MAGAs. Oh, and fuck you for dragging the rest of America and the world into this utter economic shitstorm for the common man and woman.
Bessent at Milken: Trump will make the USA Appealing to 'investors like you'.
https://www.cnbc.com/2025/05/05/bess...ndroidappshare
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent sketched a roadmap of President Donald Trumps America First Vision in a pitch to a roomful of global investors on the future of the U.S. economy.
The administrations goal is to make it even more appealing for investors like you, Bessent said.
The Cabinet secretary highlighted tariffs, tax cuts and deregulation as the three core components of Trumps economic agenda.
The remarks came as markets await developments about what the administration says are ongoing trade negotiations with numerous key partners.
..........
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent on Monday sketched out the roadmap of President Donald Trumps America First Vision in a pitch to a roomful of global investors on the future of the United States economy.
We have uprooted government waste and harmful regulations. We have planted the seeds of private investment. And we have fertilized the ground with fresh tax legislation. Next, we harvest. And we want you to harvest with us, Bessent said in a speech at the Milken Institute Global Conference.
The Cabinet secretary highlighted tariffs, tax cuts and deregulation as the three core components of Trumps economic agenda, echoing his op-ed published in The Wall Street Journal earlier Monday morning.
But where that piece prioritized boosting Main Street alongside Wall Street, Bessents remarks to the private-jet crowd at the Milken conference were an explicit appeal to a tiny group of ultra-wealthy investors and entrepreneurs.
The administrations goal is to make it even more appealing for investors like you, Bessent said.

Everyone knows that the reason Biden opened up the border was to pay immigrants money so they could vote Democrat. That is not saving our country. Our forefathers knew that when citizens could vote themselves money as opposed to work for it, we were doomed.

You cannot have China and Vietnam dumping goods in at below cost to destroy these nascent industries. And we were bringing back supply chains even before Trump was in office. He is just accelerating the process.
Once we bring much of our production back to the USA, we will produce better goods than anywhere else.
Thing about the Chinese economic miracle is the people touting that do not live in China. It does not take anyone long to figure out China is hell once they are there. The civilized places are crowded as fuck. Twenty miles out of the city, and you are back in the Middle Ages. And the people who return from China are often sick from the food, air, and water.
Once the USA moves away from rewarding the people who do not produce anything like lawyers and hedge fund managers and starts to reward people who provide actual goods and services to the public, we will be fine, and that will happen.
By the way, the reason the market has been up the last 10 sessions or so is not just that Trump is striking deals, it is that the tariffs are not nearly as inflationary as the media is reporting, and the tariffs are needed to protect those investing in that new manufacturing.

On this occasion I'll opt to disregard his wise words to point out that Trump swore to uphold the constitution. Try reading it slowly.
The OP (who is a guest) needs to start by reading the Constitution of the United States of America. Babies learn this stuff in school. Grow men should already know it.

Last question: I wonder out loud if the same people calling Social Security a hand out will also collect it when their times comes? They need to say yes.

Surely, when those right-wing (lunatics) and MAGA moronic pundits, told you this garbage, also provided you with FACTS, links, articles, documentation, something to go along with that "spoon full" of propaganda? ....NO?
Or is this just more typical, vintage Elvis 2008 hyperbole? (...kkkk!)
Okay, here's a reminder, in case you forgot, what that looks like in the real world, as to what are the different ways, that government spends your tax dollars? https://www.ramseysolutions.com/taxe...r-tax-money-go
Health (29.1%)
Social Security (16.2%)
National Defense (16%)
National Debt Interest (12.2%)
Income Security (7.7%)
Veterans Benefits (3.8%)
Education (2.6%)
Transportation (1.5%)
Miscellaneous (10.9%) (ie. Agriculture, Justice, General government, Natural resources and environment, International affairs, Community and regional development ...etc)
So where's the parasitic spending?

Posts: 5713Checks and Balances are built into the Constitution of the United States of America
POTUS does not have to support the constitution. If he does not the Article II Branch of the USGOV can act.
As adopted by the framers of the Constitution, this congressional power is a fundamental component of the system of checks and balances. Through the impeachment process, Congress charges and then tries an official of the federal government for Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.
Why I have to explain this to grown men is beyond me. They must be guests if they don't understand it.

Although it is doubtful the lady interviewing him on that typically pro Repub Mainstream Media program knew it because all she managed to do in the face of Trump's Gish Gallop fire hose of lies was to smile, nod and try to remember or figure out what her next question that won't get a coherent answer from that dumb fat fuck will be.

Posts: 233Trump says he does not know whether he needs to uphold the US constitution

Civilisations rise and fall. What precipitates their collapse? It's broadly one of two reasons. Firstly, it's another society ascertaining what made the incumbent civilisation so great, how to replicate and possibly improve upon these features through luck, circumstance, industry or other less respectable means. Take for example the UK, the birthplace of the industrial revolution, upon which the sun finally did set post WW2 which gave the impetus for America to exercise its latent industrial might.
The other reason is when the incumbent civilisation forgets the values or key sucess factors that bought it into prominence. There are whole books devoted to why the Roman empire collapsed with multiple reasons but amongst those will be prominent that the Roman empire became decadent, corrupt and had a succession of incapable leaders.
Both of these reasons are pertinent to America: take the aphorism that never in history of humanity have so many people been alleviated from so much poverty in such a brief period of time as in modern day China. The Chinese learned from Lee Kuan Yew how to generate such incredible economic growth and in doing so also refuted the notion that economic growth necessitates a democratic system.
Trump is the embodiment of the other reason for America's demise. If you reject the very values that made you great in the first place (would the American economy have expanded as it did in the absence of its constitution, or legal framework or social values?) and if the rot comes from within then there is no one left to blame.
America will remain a highly influential power on the world stage simply due to its economic size and resources and its military might but the sun is setting on its being the sole superpower. The ascendancy of China to rival America on an eye to eye basis was always probable but is now inevitable. And the worst of it is America has accelerated its decline itself.
The ROW's goal must now be to shape a new world order in which America and China can co-exist without a military or other kind of war, simply for self interest purposes. Whether that's likely is something I don't know.

However, the State Department emerged as the only agency among the 16 that did not have any credit cards canceled during this initial phase of the audit.
That is because Elon Musk is scared shitless of the Secretary of State! Even Musk know who he can fuck with and who he cannot in the USGOV! The Secretary of State does not play nor kiss Musk's ass. The Secretary of State stood up against Trator Musk in the first Cabinet Meeting that POTUS held and shut Musk down.
