It is a month ago, but I will report from 10 days in Cartagena. I stayed in an apartment in Laguito, no problems to bring in girls. I went to Cartagena because of several thing: beautiful weather, sun, beaches, good food, historic city with the fort and the Old Town, some sightseeing. I have been in Cartagena several times before.

But also to enjoy the hobby! I have read about all the major changes during the last year with closing of Dolce Vita, Space etc. I have read and followed the recent reports so I knew quite well what to anticipate.

I started with a girl from Seeking. We had dinner on my second evening and we felt good together, so I spent 3 evenings with her. She was rather spoilt, wanted USD 300 per meet, we ended with 500 for 3 nights, based on the excellent tone we found on the first evening.

One girl from the streets of Laguito (400 K pesos), one girl from the internet (500 K pesos, and one girl from the streets of Old Town (500 K pesos). I was also out a couple of evenings without seeing anything that I wanted but there were girls around. I was too lazy to make special efforts.

I did not visit any of the strip clubs or other clubs outside the Old Town that has been reported recently. Cartagena is far from how it used to be, but still absolutely possible to enjoy the Hobby with a minimum of work.

All in all I enjoyed my time in Cartagena. But it definitely is different from how it was a few years back.

Most convo threads seem to just be arguments about who wants to be spend what. Wish there were more boots on the ground posts since CTG scene is changing month by month. I miss Dolce Vita, Space where it was great for plug & play for hot cheap talent.

Have stuck to Medellin the last few trips so will give CTG a go for 2 nights. Sounds like Cattleya 'could' be the successor to Dolce. I'm a frequent travel to Bogota, having been there about 7 times in the past 4 or 5 years. I've also done Medellin for a weekend. Earlier this year I booked a two week trip to Bogota and then realized it Earlier this week decided since I've never been to Cartagena that I should check it out on this trip. Today I hit up a Seeking that I've somehow managed to never pay but hang out with each time I'm in Bogota and invited her with me for this weekend. I didn't think she would accept given that it's Easter weekend but she was ecstatic so I just bought her plan tickets. We've had a couple of threesomes in Bogota with other Seeking girls. There is a thick line between being broke and being smart enough to not spend $120 for 1 hour with a street walker in Colombia. When I go to places that I know it costs a significant amount of money to do certain things, then I spend the money. When I go to a third world country to fuck street walkers, then I am smart enough to realize that should not cost $120.

I am not worrying about what you are doing with your money. Hell, I think you should pay them 1 million pesos for 1 hour. But for everyone else that.

Ok, by reading your post it appears that you have never been to Cartagena. 1 mistake new comers make is comparing Cartagena to another mongering destination. It is a huge mistake to compare Cartagena to Tijuana a place where most girls are probably controlled by a pimp and the prices are set across the board. Even comparing it to Bogot or Medellin can be a mistake, while yes it's the same country you have to realize those locations are not as popular as a tourist destination as Cartagena therefore the chicas are not exposed to gringos throwing money as much as they do in Cartagena.

While all mongering destinations differ in their exact dynamics, it's all the same thing dude. Street girls, online escorts, bar girls, TLN, etc. They use Mileroticos all the same too. The process of mongering in Cartagena is not much different, if barely at all, than what I'm used to. The prices are not set across the board, that is COMPLETELY false. I encourage you to visit the Tijuana Red Light District subreddit for more information. But yeah, If I'm going by the very recent reports on this forum, reading on various Telegram groups about Colombia and seeing Youtube video reports, it is nearly EXACTLY the same that I've experienced there. Minus the police in Tijuana actually rob and beat you very frequently these days. Can't go wrong with a pair of hidden pocket mongering boxer briefs to hide your cash.

Comparing Cartagena to Bogota and Medellin in the fresh year of 2025 is completely valid, do you know how much media about Colombia exists on Youtube or otherwise via Passport Bros and Vloggers? People know about these cities more than ever, I hear more and more about Medellin daily on Telegram or from browsing about. Go down the rabbit hole and see, Cartagena may be MORE popular obviously because it's more convenient and "safer" but the other mongering locations are LOOONG outed all over the internet. It's sad to say, the chicas there absolutely are exposed to the same type of gringos, it just hasn't gone completely downhill yet because the complete fools haven't gotten the balls yet to visit. The entire point of my post is that a few years ago Cartagena girls USED to be very affordable, but people like who I quoted are driving the prices up, VERY MUCH like they're doing in Tijuana right now and why I seek greener pastures. It should NEVER hit those prices for STREET prostitutes in Colombia. 700 k (roughly $165 USD) is more than you'd pay for a 10/10 Instagram model looking bar girl at Hong Kong Club in Tijuana. You will barely find a gringo throwing money in the air in Medellin or Bogota but you will often find them in Cartagena. No matter how much research you do, nothing is going to prepare you for when you arrive and realize allot of people who are there are use to paying $500 and up for a girl who looks like that in the states over night so when they are told a price so low it becomes a bargain in their mind. They don't care about local monthly wages, they don't care about prices, they don't care about the next monger, all they know is that chica looks much better than what's offered at home and she charges half the price.

I look forward to you arriving and posting your experience. Also if you are up for it, post pictures of the girls and what their asking price or counter offer price was, I'm sure I'm not the only one looking forward to when your expectations meet reality on what Cartagena has become.

Also just a side note, if your in centro at night walking around Restaurante San Valentin and you see a little girl selling bracelets, help her out by buying one, that's Alondra, she's cool to talk to and bullshit with. Also she can give you info on what's what since she's always there at night. She speaks English.

Pretexto. While we were walking up the steps to go to Bronx Afrohouse I was told they moved here and renamed. It's around the corner just look for the basketball hoop. There are no working girls in here and the ones that are there are the same ones that were probably on the plane with you.

Androgeno. It's delurium. This place does not need explaining. Bar in the front is more quiet and calm bar in the back is too packed and you won't be able to moved. There is a shuttle that takes you there from Centro located here (10.4242035, -75.5484620). Hopefully the site doesn't do anything weird with the coordinates when posting.

Be warned that once you are out there you are at the mercy of the taxi drivers and they will rip you off.

TownHouse. Cool spot, it gets real windy and chilly though so the girls might not like it. They removed the arcade machine from by the door in the lobby though. For the first time in many years this was the first time I saw the sitting pools open on the rooftop.

Mar De Les Antillas. There are 2 locations, one in Getseman and one in Centro. I prefer the one in Getseman as it's less annoying people. The food is wonderful and I always stop here at least twice per trip.

Henry's Rooftop. Great food and wonderful view of the castle at night. The bowling alley in the location is good as well for a nighttime activity. It's outside the walls and can get sketchy at night but I never had any issues so I can only speak from my experience.

Riqusimo Beach. I go just for the empanadas and the open flame steak. It's close when I stay in El Laguito and not too expensive.

I would also suggest checking out the rooftop of MallPlaza. They remodeled it to a nice outdoor area with food and drinks.

I did visit Santa Cattleya and I have to give the heads up. That area over there by xito is completely abandoned at night time. Besides the 2 guys outside the door of Santa Cattleya you will seldom find anyone walking around there so be careful.

Do me a favor, go on Google Maps and start exploring in STREET VIEW the areas outside of Centro, Getsemani, Manga, Bocagrande, etc. Just slowly start scouring the streets, neighborhoods, look around. Then and only then, will you realize even $50 USD to these girls is hilariously more than enough. What's next? You going to start tipping $20 USD to the Uber drivers because it only costs $3 USD to go from Bocagrande to Centro?
