I think it is unlikely you will see two there in one night. Besides most are not passable like In Thailand.

There are some girls just not very attractive, anyway you look at it and you can still get them at 500 if you see them. So the interview means not much. Then there are friends of the working girls and they don't seem to need interview to work there one or two nights. There are girls sent by agency. There are just what I have been told by the girls I met. There seems to be some exception to the rules.

    My question is.

What is visiting Brazil like, as a sex tourist?

Can one survive with good Spanish knowledge but 0 ability in Brazilian / Portuguese /?

What are the people like, specially those you encounter in the mongering areas, in clubs, etc.

Are they nicely out going and bubbly and welcoming like Mexicans, or proud and distant like the Japanese?

Are they judgemental or inviting specially to foreigners who are there to fack their women for money?

Do they like you fun outgoing while being opinionated or be quiet and polite?

Is tipping customary and is it much appreciated like it is in Mexico?

What is a good amount of tip, to a bar tender, to a door man, to a food server, to a hotel room clean up person?.
You clearly have not RTFF well enough! These kinds of questions have been answered time and again in the Brazil threads. Suggest you read the Reports of Distinction in-depth and come back asking informed, targeted questions versus producing a laundry list of questions like this and then just sitting back and watching expecting other people to do all the work for you.

Complete newbie for Brazil / Sao Paulo

I read this thread, there are some details. However I cannot find a write-up that has initiation information. I have a lot of experience in Tijuana and Mexico in general, Africa and Thailand. I did travel to South East Asia extensively for work matters and lived in Japan for some time.

What is a good amount of tip, to a bar tender, to a door man, to a food server, to a hotel room clean up person?

What are the things frowned upon, e. G alcohol in public and seen too close to drug dealers, / These are issues one has to watch for in Tijuana.

How safe is the mongering areas? I read about gang related violence in Sao Paulo.

Is the mongering activity concentrated around a specific area, or strewn all around town?

Are there specific music / dance / strip clubs known to have women who cater to mongers openly like we have in Thailand and Mexico?

Do these clubs, if they exist, have attached Hotel to take the women up, as conveniently customary in Thai and Mexico's Red light zones?

Are there massage parlous like we have in Colombia which are actually preferred by many mongers who go there, specially now a days.

Is cheating a problem, like giving you a wrong change at Hotel counters and Bars like we have in Tijuana.

Are the Hotels trust worthy, meaning if you reserve it online say Expedia, would they honor that?

I am not going to ask about the women, as I believe they are the same everywhere.

In any case these are the things I wanted to know, initially, as I continue the research about Brazil as a destination.

    Regards.

    Scandallo trans

I believe from a month stay in pattaya and 8 month in medellin. I know a trans when I see one. And I believe while I was enjoying my steak dinner at least 2 said Hello, in which I quickly dismissed after a thorough look. I won't say it was obvious because I was looking kinda hard to be convinced he wasnt a she. But I could not be convinced. No big deal. Just not my thing along with scandallo prices. But I will return just to eat and women watch.

I don't doubt your encounter back in 2013, but currently only "real" biological women are allowed to work in Scandallo. I reached out to 2 different managers and the head waiter at the club and they all told me the same. Only biological women are allowed to work in Scandallo.

Girls go through a pretty thorough interview process before they are allowed to work there and not all girls make the cut. I knew this really pretty spinner with an amazing body from another boate that would totally kill at Scandallo looks wise. She was also super sweet and had a great personality. She went for an interview and they rejected her as she wasn't refined or put together enough or too inexperienced. They offered to have her start at their sister club Connections first before graduating to Scandallo.

Could a girl sneak in and work there with a fake ID? Of course! I know of at least 3-4 girls who started working at Scandallo in the mid to late 2010's when they were just 16-17 years old ith fake IDs. The same logic can apply to faking their biological "sex" on a fake ID.

Brazil does have strong discrimination laws and is very LGBT+ friendly, but a club like Scandallo have enough connections and powerful clients visiting that they don't really worry about these kind of lawsuits much. Civilian girls of all types who want to visit the club as just regular clients just to "check it out" are denied entry all the time.

I did meet a few trans girls at Casarao back in late 2023 or early 2024. They were a group of 3 hanging out at the downstairs area between the end of the bar and the start of the couches. Directly in front of the entrance to the smoking room. 2 were obviously LGBT, but the 3rd was a super cute and very feminine looking spinner. I figured she was probably just a leabian. When I tried to strike up a conversation with her she held up her hand and tried to warn me by saying "Sweetchy", which is how they pronounce the word "Switch". I had no idea what she meant, so she had to elaborate that she was a transexual! Got to love the cute Portuguese slangs and how they add an extra syllable to many words!

Agree, dude garotas that works in Scandallo need to pass the interview with managers plus fotos, checks of beauty, hottie or not. Etc. Some garotas when speaking Portuguese the pronunciation can sound more masculine than femine to US ears. Plus Tons of scandallo garotas do heavy duty muscular workouts you can follow them on instagram to see their body sculpture regime.

Shit I had to leave a hot threesome near the DJ booth to go downstairs to the lobby to vouch for a damn fine cutie to enter the place. Her uber pickup was late.

There is no upside for bait and switch of gender there.

    Yes there are

I've seen trans women in Scandallo, twice in the last 12 years. Remember discrimination is a serious crime in Brazil, so maybe they don't want to risk a super expensive lawsuit.

The one I remember and I can tell from direct contact was 2013 one year before the soccer world championship and there were qualifiying games on the LCDs. I ended a session with a slim brown hair beauty from southern Brazil in one of the rooms of Scandallo, we went back together to outdoor bar and we were talking of going up again. Yes, we were drinking together at the same beat, and there was chemistry.

Then I see this impressive, tall, super athletic trans, yes, she was truly impressive, with ultra high heels and miniskirt and I have no shame to say it because of the feminine touch she had. I'm a visual producer and I love exotic beauty. I immediately thought on a fashion portrait ... i know agents who love those faces and looks.

So I dismissed the girl from Porto Alegre, she didn't complain at all and she had the kindness to bring this sculpture to my table and left us alone. And of course, the strong voice of a man is what I heard when she sat and crossed her legs. I invited her / him a drink and spent maybe 20 minutes talking. I gave her a R100 tip and she gave me her personal card because I offered her a photoshoot. She / he was a kind person.

From the countless times I've been to scandallo I saw trans twice, the second time it was not so impressive so I didn't have this visual attraction.

Day 1 thru 4 Casarao and 57 Friends

    Day 1 Casarao (Friday).

60 consumption. Three stories of small real estate which could otherwise be a very large townhome on the east coast (US). Upstairs closed, bars on the main floor and downstairs, smoking area, packed, mostly nowhere to sit. Time is spent standing in a crowded room. Met someone, settled up, wristband to re-enter, exit the building to the hotel next door.

Blonde, petite, short, pretty but not preferably as thin, affectionate and fun. 50 for the room, 500 for her. Small room with a bathroom and shower. Clean and comfortable. There's a mirror on the ceiling. Starts with a long blowjob, she would have gone forever, rides me, flipped her on her back, she moves me to the edge of the bed to ride me reverse, wants me to see her from a mirror. Proceeded to blow me for the rest of the hour before needing to cleanup before the knock.

Long dark brown hair, tall, skinny, beautiful, cold in conversation but enthusiastic later. 100 for the room, 600 for her. Blows me for an eternity, rides me briefly but it's late and so I don't mind taking it easy, she decides to blow me again and doesn't stop for another eternity until our time is up. The mirrored ceiling.

Dark hair, speaks English, educated in London. We only talk. We're meeting for lunch this Thursday. Just lunch.

    Day 2 and 3 Tourist.

Neighborhoods. Vila Madalena is just an area filled with crowded bars. I return to Moema for dinner. I'm a repeat visitor at an elegant restaurant a few blocks from my airbnb. They stay open late and empty the last two nights. Two bartenders cater to me personally while I have dinner, pour from a bottle, keep to myself, read.

At closing, the bartender, whom I've only communicated only through an app, puts her number in my phone if I have questions about the neighborhood. She then tells me she's off in 20 if I would like company as long as I take care of her uber home. I wait outside for air. The other bartender comes out to wait with me but to also let me know she's joining. I wait another minute, tell her this is complicated, leave.

    Day 4 57 Friends.

It's 7, I've decided to revisit Casarao. It's slow so I head to 57 friends. From research, it transitions into a club around this time and so a seemingly good place to pass time. Check-in, no cover, offered a lineup or relax. I choose the latter. It's pleasantly empty. Me, two other dudes, one on his phone, another chatting a girl. Smaller area in the front with a bar and large area in the rear filled with seating, pool table, outdoor smoking area. Order a glass if wine and It's a very generous pour.

Short, petite, slim, jet black hair, kind and friendly. Introduces herself with a kiss on the cheek. She smells remarkable which isn't personally important but couldn't help but notice. She leaves to sit in a corner by herself. I join her after my first glass. We only communicate through an app. We're having fun. I offer her a drink but she declines. I never make it to Casarao.

1000 for her for the night and an exit fee which was some incidental amount I don't remember. She leads us to a restaurant a few blocks away for appetizers and drinks. She calls an uber. We're back at my place by 10 and immediately leads us to the shower. She keeps me up until 3 am for continuous fun including exploring every inch of the bed. We sleep. At 6 am, she wakes me. She wants more. Insatiable. After, as the sun had come up, wants to know if I would prefer her to leave so I can rest. We sleep more and she calls herself an uber at 10 am.

    Day 5.

I'm in the courtyard of my property and meet the host. Her father, whom I had also met, wants to give me a tour of the city. I have plans tomorrow. I'm also invited to an afternoon home cooked Sunday afternoon family meal. I now have plans this Sunday. Headed to 57 later not because I expect to find another unicorn. Just a place to relax and adamant to make it to Casarao.

    Clinic.

Subscribe to Tangara, 57, Yankin, Morumbi Lux for WhatsApp status. Miruna, Abbobora, others insist only after the first visit which I have not done.

    Data.

Claro, picked up an activated SIM from the Ibirapuera mall, 1st floor. Sim was 10 and "top-up" available from Claro or any pharmacy. 40 for 12 GB. I've been using 1 GB per day. Will need to top-up once more for another 40. My US cell plan texted an offer for $10 USD daily or 1085 real for the entire trip.

    International adapter.

City Coisas in the Ibirapuera mall, 2nd floor.

    Lodging.

Airbnb in Moema. It's quiet and peaceful. Windows are not double pane. Inside, I can't hear the airplanes above.

There are two t-mobile plans: $35 for 10 days, 5 GB, and $50 for 30 days, 15 GB.

I used it in SP. It works fine.

What about quality of wifi connection in the room?

If internet is not reliable in the room, I just cannot stay.
The WiFi is quite fast and reliable at this hotel too.

    T-Mobile International Data Pass

I was looking to go with the T-Mobile International Data Pass. I haven't used it before, but I was told it's $50 for a month of Unlimited Calls & Texts to anywhere in the world, and 15 GB of high speed data.

The Brazil Airalo is $47 a month for 200 minutes talk, 200 texts, and 20 GB of Data. Not sure if the call minutes include international calls. Now that Skype is gone, I wanted a convenient service to call anywhere in the world when I'm in another country. Seems like the T-Mobile option may be better.

I'd like a local number in Brazil and a second phone, so maybe I'll do both. Thanks.

Will make my first trip to SP soon, and wanted to get more clarity on the local SIM card situation. Having read many of the posts, Knowledge had posted this CPF generator that will provide a number to activate a SIM card and allow the use of public WiFi in places like shopping malls, etc. I've also read that you can go to a TIM store with your passport and they'll be able to fix you up.

Is it best and easiest to get a SIM at GRU? I usually do this at most international airports in the world without a problem, but I ran into problems in Rio a few years ago. I forgot to get set at the airport, and then went to Rio Sul mall after getting settled. The three cell stores I went to told me they couldn't help me since I wasn't a native or something. Very frustrating as none of them spoke English and they turned away and ignored me. Someone back at my hotel told me to go to one of the kiosks and they could fix me up. The kiosk guy had a friend there who spoke English, and they got me set up for cheap after 15 minutes or so.

So, the easiest way to avoid hassles and get set with a local SIM is to use a cell place at GRU and use a CPF generated number? Just trying to get this straight so I can use Uber and Google Maps right away and not feel hassled wasting time and energy. Other newbies are probably curious too. Thanks in advance.
For TIM, you don't need a CPF, you could just buy it and activate it over the phone with your passport.
