I had thought of Xi as an iron dictator incapable of being taken out, but apparently all that needs to happen is the people just believe he is not heaven's choice, and the people and party turn their backs on him. It is also interesting that he is having issues with the military.

This guy Peter Zeihan gets his information straight from the CIA and apparently Xi only likes yes men around him. So it makes sense at first he told Trump to piss off, but I think he got a lot of flak from people telling him he had to negotiate or the Chinese economy would tank.
