Small world. This same chick picked my pocket before in like 5 seconds while I was walking in Centro. I had just changed out $300 and my dumb ass was distracted texting another Chica on my phone just like this guy. Once I felt the tug and tapped my pocket all the money I just changed was gone. Took a picture of her and showed the cops and they immediately knew who she was. They grabbed her and we all went to the police station, and they kept searching her, but she had no money in her purse. I'm not going to say what happened in the police station, but they found the 1,260,000 mil after about 20 minutes with her in a back room.
The most embarrassing part that I was not prepared for was they asked me for my ID and I gave it to them. Then had me stand by some banner and they recorded a video of one of the cops returning the ID and the money to me.

I have been to Medellin 18 times. I want to make my first visit to Cartagena. Are there any Airbnb's that allow guests / visitors? It looks very strict up there.

It's funny how they put it out as if the black guys are mostly the victims of drugging and etc but it's mostly the white guys who get caught up. Same thing in Africa a lot of them got drugged, robbed, mugged and sometimes rapped but the media kind of hide it. It happens in Kenya a lot, now they never come to Nairobi nor Mombasa CBD, Bamburi nor Mombasa city period. They no longer visit parliament road in Kampala, nor Kampala CBD. There's a lot of places in South Africa they will not come neither I can go on and on.

Who makes these things? Every time I see one pop up on Facebook or in the chat group it leaves me in tears of how accurate the figures are.
I'm waiting for one with the Yankee fitted, overgrown beard with Jordans.

I went in the middle of March and when I landed in CTG a Spirit and Latam plane landed infront of us. Then AA came behind. The line was out the door and onto the tarmac. I felt sorry for anyone who was outside in that heat.
Many people on here been saying the Sosua crown went to Cartagena and messed it up, but what they didn't notice is after they messed it up they started going to Peru and messing it up there as well and the wrong people noticed and TDA started robbing them that's why the crime rate spiked, and they had to lock down the city, but no one is talking about it.

I'm watching people talk so much trash in these chat groups while ignoring what's right Infront of their face talking about "I know how to move" "aint going to be me caught slippin".
I use to go to CTG 3 - 4 times a year, but now I might just slow it down to 1- 2 times a year. Arrive on a Thursday, see my usual 3 chicas a day then leave on Sunday.
No more 2 - 3 week stays its just not worth it to me anymore since most of my good chicas left to the US or had babies and gained crazy weight.

I did see some American women in a hotel elevator talking about beauty procedures when in Cartagena, and I was like, if you think you are beautiful now, then you all need to get your money back.
Ironically, Medellin and Bogota are cheaper and better for the same beauty procedures, but I would guess most are comparing Cartagena to the USA.
Except for the rainy season, Cartagena is reliably hot and sunny and it is cheaper than other places on the Carribean, so I guess there is that. It would be one thing too if the Colombian men were interested in American women, but I have not seen any evidence of that.

I am in southern FL, so CTG is a quick, cheap flight for me. I have been there three times, but right now I don't plan to go back for many of the reasons cited. Having read the last few pages here certainly hasn't changed my mind, but I wanted to offer a few comments.
There has been some discussion of street vs. "escort" prices. Normally street prices are lower than incall / outcall prices, but IMO it is different in cities that are known sex tourism destinations. The guys everyone on here complain about aren't experienced hobbyists who do their research on local pricing and know how to use mileroticos and skokka. They are going to go to Centro because they have heard that is how you find girls. Because they aren't knowledgeable or experienced the girls who go there are going to exploit them. Prices are going to be more volatile in Centro (just look at the conversation on here!) because the prices the guys who go there are willing to pay are more volatile. The quality of girls on the street is also probably higher than in other cities because better-looking girls are going where the money is. So are the scammers. For me Centro is a tourist attraction and it is fine to check out the chicas, but unless you happen to hit the jackpot it isn't the best way to get laid.
My own experience on Mileroticos has been very good. The site has its own verification tools which are helpful if you use them. If you click on "Comentarios" you can find the girls who have comments / reviews to see if they are favorable, and you can also click on the reviewer to make sure he has other reviews and is less likely to be a shill. If you don't speak Spanish just be sure you are comfortable with Google Translate, and if you go to her place just be aware you may be in a neighborhood that is off the tourist map. There is also a good chance you are dealing with an agency.
There is at least one Colombian review board (doncolombia dot com) that may be useful in verifying girls and getting info on prices, performance, and services. Since the subject of local vs. Gringo pricing has been frequently discussed, here are local prices from a few reviews.
Zarem - 130 K / HR; 60 K / qv Hotel Darling, which is apparently infamous to locals.
Sofia - 70 K / hh Hotel Arizona, also outside of tourist areas.
Giselle - 70 K / qv BBW, also Hotel Arizona.
Sara / Kamila - 150 K / HR with anal (hard and deep, per review) Area described as "not unsafe, but not a place you would leave your car for long).
Karola - 400 K / overnight Outcall.
All referenced mileroticos ads except for Karola, who was on Skokka. I'm not suggesting these are girls any of us would choose, but it gives you an idea of what the locals are getting and where they are going.
Happy hobbying, guys. For now I will be exploring greener pastures.

I flew into Bogota the other day and I noticed the line was longer than usual. To their credit, Bogota generally moves faster than Medellin, as it seems like the staff actually gives a fck.
I never had a wait in Cartagena but I haven't been in awhile. This video is claiming that a lot more folks are lining up now. I guess I'll see later this year when I decide to visit.
Going through immigration the other day, I noticed signs about labor relations. From what I could gather, there are still some issues with contract negotiations, which might cause some kind of work action in the near future which means that getting through immigration might become a slower process, if things don't get resolved in a timely fashion.
It seems like the Sosua crowd has pretty much fully made the location change to Cartagena. As such, you should already know what to expect when you go there. If you went through this already with Sosua, nothing should be new or surprise you.
