Neither Vietnam nor China is next to Thailand, and since the Philippines consists of about 7500 islands it's going to be a long swim to get to Vietnam or China.

Why should the people enjoying Thailand go somewhere else? Flights from the US to most of those places are more expensive, require more transfers and take longer. Paying an extra $600 to save $50 on hookers doesn't seem cost effective.

Have you checked the Airport Link, BTS or MRT rail lines in Bangkok before? When I travel around the World, if there is a Rail Line connecting to a city system I usually take it. European cities are quite convenient and efficient at doing this.

I was in Bangkok ten years ago and have not been to Pattaya in many more years but how can you expect people to believe you when you post this?

Even the food kinda sucks now. You have Nameless Thai Restaurant, heap Charlie's, OMG, Sweet Family, Jasmine's Cafe, The Iranian Buffet behind wall.

King street, The 2 Indian Buffets on Second Road past Soi 6, the Food courts in Terminal 21, Big see Extra, and Central Mall and the quality in all of those places isn't great but at least the prices are acceptable. Every other restaurant is significantly more expensive for not much better food.

These guys saying they are pay $40 for GFE, Multiple positions, with no rushing are going with 30-40 year old women. I won't even contemplate having sex for free with a women over 29 much less pay for it.

This is not just my opinion, I am here with 7 other guys. 4 of them are under 25 and super fit, 3 are under 40 but have extensive mongering experience. None of us is enjoying Pattaya. It is too much BS for too little service if you can even find an attractive girl.

How long you've been mongering is irrelevant. If you want to get technical, my first mongering experience was 45 years ago. However, there was a 30 year period, when I seldom had time or desire to pay for what I was getting for free. Once I was no longer interested in putting forth the effort, I took the easy, pay as you go route.

There are a few things which intrigue me. First, how can a self-proclaimed, highly intelligent man (something you've failed to demonstrate), not recognize the inescapable reality of YMMV? I've personally compared experiences with 3 trusted friends with the same girl. Three of us gave her rave reviews, while the fourth considered her below average. I've read reviews from many mongers with differing opinions. None of them are wrong, because this is all subjective. Your experience does not equal my experience.

Second, why do you bother? If I walk into a restaurant and the service sucks, I walk out. I don't scream at everyone to leave because I'm not getting good service. If I couldn't get laid in Thailand (arguably the easiest place in the world to get laid), I'd pack my bag and get on a plane headed elsewhere.

Finally, do you understand basic math? Even in Pattaya the ISG community makes up a small percentage of the active mongers, and the majority has clearly disagreed with your assessment. You're asking all vegans to boycott McDonald's and expecting McDonald's to notice.

A boycott by all of ISG could only make the situation (as you see it) worse. Most ISG members are westerners. Take the westerners out of Thailand for 10 years and you get a new generation who has no interest in us. They have been getting everything they need from the Korean and Chinese mongers. Show up, be respectful of the culture, be friendly, keep a positive attitude, and you get the things you want.

Now for everyone else, Pattaya really isn't my cup of tea. I can recognize why so many people are so passionate about it. It's quick and easy to find a red light district, I did it without even trying. Getting around is a breeze. Options for mongering are unlimited. In my experience, the women are either quite passionate or quite willing to make you believe they are passionate. Although my sample size is small, things like DFK and BBBJ are more readily available than in Colombia. No girl asked me for a tip, or offered extra services for an upcharge. No girl appeared disappointed when I offered no tip.

Food, lodging and common items are cheap. Baht buses are cheap and convenient. 7-11's are everywhere, the food is quite good and everyone has a smile for you (unless you walk around constantly whining). At no point did I feel any safety or security issues, except for traffic. Even the touts and beggars were easy to deal with.
