Posts: 4630The reason for the pile on has nothing to do with the term graduate or advanced degree. It has to do with your going to Medellin, kicking ass, rejecting the "conventional wisdom", and telling the truth about it. I would wear it as a badge of honor instead of fighting with these guys about it. They were going to pick on you for something.

Use a gift card without your name on it and try to make it seem like the woman is flying to the USA for a reason other than to see you if she is asked. I had a woman flown in from Mexico who dressed provocatively and customs gave her a horribly hard time. When I finally met her, she was balling her eyes out, and she had been to the USA before. There has been a huge emphasis on so called "trafficking" and LE has used the Mann Act in some pretty fucked up ways in the past.
When I said you were 95% of the way there, what I meant is that Colombian women are what women are supposed to be, good companions for men. The problem in the USA is the women demand you accept them no matter how fucking crazy they are. They all deserve better no matter what they do, and the world is supposed to stop if they feel badly about anything. What is so pathetic is men have gone along with this shit. At this point, if you offend a woman with the truth, you not her are the one in the dog house. Fat men are fair game to be criticized but fat women, who have so much more to gain if they look good, are supposed to not be "body shamed".
Everyone has their come to Jesus movement coming out of the education bubble and into the work place. For Colombian women, who have been watching the same female empowerment movies and TV shows as American women, the smackdown of reality can come with an ever bigger jolt.
What I mean by that is I had one woman doing the annoying kind of American female stuff. I cannot give head. That is gross. I have to use a condom for health purposes. Thing about her is I knew she could be better. She was paying her own way in college and working three jobs. I was blunt with her like I was no other woman. Do you get that men want a woman who make them feel good? Do you get there are thousands of other women in Colombia who do not have a problem with oral sex? In short, I was telling her no decent man is going to have her with her attitude. So after a lame first sexual encounter, she came back and fucked the shit out of me bareback. She was fucking me not for a buck but for her worth as a woman, and the change was remarkable.
Colombian women have few of the support systems American women have and culturally Colombian women are supposed to put men first and not complain so when you have a woman complaining in the USA, you back off. In Colombia, I think it is best if you pile on and demand more from them. This won't work with a hooker type just interested in money, but I cannot tell you how many women in Colombia I met in their 20's who needed to be trained in the art of pleasing men and really wanted to learn.

Posts: 118My definition of common in this instance refers to 85% usage of Graduate Degree which is common. And when describing people who are homosexual / gay, left-handed, or african-american / black. It is very COMMON to use these terms to describe them and does not make them uncommon just because you are describing them as a minority population (can you hold all these factors in your head to come to the logical understanding of my words? You fucking fool. You don't know how to argue. And you lose in LOGIC every time. But glad your bonerless punctuation games make you feel superior. I'm sure that's working out very well for you.

Posts: 118Yes, this is probably true. The value of a college education is dwindling in USA. Certain degrees still hold value, but many people graduate college with large amount of student debt and no meaningful job prospects. So less people are going to college, especially men (women out number men in college admissions by 60 to 40% and there is an increase in the trades (which are great careers for many).

Talking about education, it appeared that many, or arguably a majority, of gringos in Medellin were college graduates (with a bachelor or higher degree) 10 years ago. Now it appears that a majority of gringos are without college degree.

Posts: 118So embarrassing grammar Nazi. How about engaging with the logic of the argument instead of the punctuation? This is not the win you think it is. Oh, wait, it's because I won the logical argument. Argue me with logic instead of punctuation and your said degrees / IQ. Straight logic. Nobody cares about your fake fluff. You can not beat me in logic games.

Posts: 118Haha. Douche bag over here. And I responded while drunk. Notice, I don't have the insecurity to claim to be the smartest person in the room, because I am secure in my life and myself. I am still correct in my original point, the more common usage is Graduate Degree. I won this argument. My original post which started all of this was response to Paulie's claim that anyone who uses any term other than Advanced Degree proves they do not have one. And that couldn't be further from the truth. I win. But, yes, please try to ignore facts and focus on punctuation. I'm sure the ladies are so impressed by this when you correct their text messages you big stud.

Posts: 118Well at least we both agree on two things. I don't, however, agree that you have a gotcha moment or won this argument with me. I so also agree with the second thing, this conversation is tiresome at this point, and we should focus on our shared interests of women instead.

Posts: 118Um no, the original argument was from Paulie stated anybody who uses any verbiage different than Advanced Degree doesn't actually have one, which I have proven is incorrect as 85% of the usage to describe said thing is the phrase "Graduate Degree. " I have no idea what assumptions you are attempting to jump to but they are so off base. Homosexuality, left handedness, and African American are ALL the most common descriptors of these things.

Posts: 980So by your definition of common, homosexuality, left-handedness, and being African African are uncommon. Got it. You're a genius.

You got something 100% correct. And you're proving it brilliantly mind you! Bravo! Like the other guy said, I'm going back to talking about taking down a pretty girl's panties. Ciao!

Posts: 118Well if you're in the United States you are wrong. About 85% of usage to describe a degree beyond a bachelors is Graduate Degree.

If you are in the United States you are wrong, but keep arguing its fine. You should also know having a graduate degree or being the most educated person on this platform does not equate to intelligence. Plenty or morons have graduate degrees.
I showed the data of which the verbiage of Advanced Degree or Graduate Degree is used in practice with 80-85% more common to use Graduate Degree and 15-20% usage of Advanced Degree. So if you going to make the argument that you're right anyway because you are just so smart, I'm going to call bullshit, because you're not following the data.

I think the intense discussion about panties is much more interesting than this silly debate on degrees.
