Had some time to check out Caesar Sauna near Taipei Arena. Parking is extremely convenient and it's very unassuming. You can be heading to the Ikea for all anyone knows. Anyway, there's a elevator bank that will bring you straight up to the establishment. Walk in and the lady at the front desk gives you a key, there's no talk about how much they charge. You go to take off your shoes and the attendant keeps it in the back for you. It's really nice, because the guy cleaned my shoes up really good. You go change out of your street clothes and put a towel on / or not, and go to the pool, spa, and sauna area. You can spend as much or as little time as you want there. Then you can shower right there as the shower stalls are right in the middle of the floor. All the dudes are walking around butt ass naked. Then you dry off and you can go to the restaurant / lounge area. It was pretty empty when I went there, a few people sleeping here and there. A few awake just watching tv or chatting. Then the mamasan comes and talks to you. She asks if you want to go upstairs to the special massage area. I said yes and she told me the price. It's 4200 NT $ for everything. I misunderstood that it was the price for the special massage, but it is the out the door price when you go check out at the end of your visit. I don't know how much the sauna part cost, but I think it's around 700, so 3500 nt $ for a special massage is a little bit steep.
