Posts: 422Palmistry and the Dust of Widows.
After reading the relevant old literature, some will want to give the impression that they have understood the subject matter. But I got the impression that the Madegassy don't understand it themselves today. What I at least recognized is their penchant for the subject matter, which is inherent in me.
Wherever I met an attractive girl, I first made deep eye contact. I would gently stare at their hands, open my hands and they would ask with great anticipation and shining eyes if I could palm read.
Yes, and so I did.
The rest is physical. And yes I talk to the ancestors in the trees. Girls told around and more came.
I told them about the widow's dew in my homeland and some shared their secrets. Do not betray them or you may regret it bitterly.
That way, you may be more likely to be seen as an equal and gain respect.
So who uses Facebook and why, and what they get. LOL.

Posts: 1194Insulting other nations? You never been to Japan and as gajin not allowed to get into one of the "Turkish" bath? Or to Korea where the brothel ladies in the windows turn round not to serve you? Or French guys not speaking to anyone not pronouncing their language perfectly? Or in India where the pimps pressuring double fee out of you because you are not local. ?

Wait a few years -- and the girls here will also only do a mechanical ST for 100 $ -- as most idiots meanwhile paying in other previous cheap monger countries.

Posts: 422It's a mystery to me why the Krauts are often so insulting to other nations, maybe it's because they can't get anything done at home.
French is still the official language in Madagascar, even with basic knowledge you can get by very well. The fact that many Madagassy also speak it badly makes it even easier.
The good food in Madagascar is mainly inspired by the French, much of it is old school and of the highest standard.
Beef fillet Rossini with fresh goose liver, Tournedos de Cebu Rossini. For example, is marvellous.

Posts: 422Some of the more recent posts suggest that Madegassy witchcraft or the usual dreamy sailor's yarn of days long gone are involved. LOL!
So it's worth mentioning that this forum is also the best advertisement for the destination, just like YouTube videos and the like. The excesses are to be expected as a consequence at the hotspots and will continue to increase. Madagascar is constantly changing, primarily because the local people want it that way, and that has to be accepted.
During my recent visit, I realised that it is still wonderful and everyone gets what they deserve.

Posts: 675Indrive taxi app antananarivo
Stayed at tana for 3 days and checked indrive app and its works here as someone already mentioned here before. I try to give more details! Its not much drivers yet at all and at late night I could find any driver! But daytime when I play around on the app was not hard to find a driver. The minimum fare for a ride is 10 k ariary so for very short distance probably its still more easy just negotiate with simple taxi drivers who standing on every corner for less or the same price But for longer distance the rates is quiet good. Like example I try order indriver from hotel tripolitsa (near glacier) to airport and I get a driver for 27500 k ariary I not accept offer as I was not planning to go to airport at this time. But I try one ride from tripolitsa hotel to tana waterfront mall its near (Radisson Blu Hotel) the driver arrive with newer car (not the same shitty taxis here) after trip I pay him 12 k ariary. I was just curious to try the app and it works. Backway I just take simple taxi and negotiate for 10 k ariary. Its good indriver its at tana and hope later it will be much more drivers. From analakely to airport for 27500 k ariary its sounds like a deal. Nowadays you still can negotiate with shitty old car taxi driver for 40 k ariary from analakely to airport.

If you are an American who frequent Mada then you are a rare breed of space mongers who "boldly go where no man has gone before" My respect to you. One day I will make the jump from Kenya when I graduated. As Neddy once said, Kenya is ground zero for the Africa newbie. It's my training ground now. As per what color? I would assume not the Hispanics since they have the entire Latin America for themselves with the amazing variety of girls. There are 21 countries in the Americas where Spanish is the language. East Asians from the USA? I doubt they would go to Mada or Africa.

"Neither black nor white men will travel for pussy to Mada I can tell you that. " Just what colour are these guys in NB? Purple? Green? I get your point but you seem to be missing one. Guys ARE travelling to Mada for pussy. Yes it is generally way more expensive for guys from NA (I am one) to get there compared to say Latin America, but go they do. Not in astronomical numbers, true. Europe is another matter.

Add the 7-10 hrs time difference (jetlag) the lack of direct flights and the 21 hrs plus travel time. Round-trip flights can cost around $2,123 on average. Lack of English and poor infrastructure etc. Neither black nor white men will travel for pussy to Mada I can tell you that. Just Columbia alone has millions of gringo loving black girls who are just 4-6 hrs flight away. Cartagena, for example, a nice, comfortable city known for black girls on the Caribbean Sea, doable even on a small budget. Saving a lot of money and time and energy! Plus a grater variety of girls! From black to mulatas and in between! If someone worries about monger invasion of Mada, it won't come from the New World!

Posts: 44YouTubers are an absolute curse to this place
All the lazy arse sh*t see*nts who want to live their life in easy mode is a curse to this place and I couldn't agree more. This place is certainly going downhill. All the main ones like "passive nomad" just completely ruining the place and the vibe. I don't understand why these blokes are even here. Mada has existed before them. They market this place as some sort of pussy island for the losers. 40 k is no longer existent. What's next?

Yes, SouthEaster got it right here, and exactly what I was going to suggest. I would not go to Madagascar with less than 2 weeks and even that is pushing it, 3 to 4 weeks is best for a "short" trip. But that said, you can still do it in 10 days. Hit one place and don't try to travel around the country, that will only lead to frustration and stress. It also depends on where you are coming from. Jetlag can be a drag, but if your time zone change is only a couple hours, you likely will only have to deal with getting over a redeye flight on arrival. If there is 7+ hrs time change ontop of the flight time, then I tend to be useless for a day at least.

And you will not be able to avoid the scammers with no experience, but don't give in to them when they ask 100 k+, give them 10 k for a taxi and send them out the door (or better yet, agree before the hotel). But you can find sweethearts that are honest, fair and very experienced sexually in Nosy Be, mostly on the beach or at Tatie Chris (on Sundays), and even in Ambotaloaka if you have good sense and choose wisely. 40/60 k is still doable in Nosy Be. And you don't have to spend 100 euro at a hotel, there are decent places for 40-60 euro a night.
I also avoid Tana these days, but I had a lot of fun there in the past when I often spent 4-7 days there in between travel to other places. The nightclub scene is fun, the restaurants are diverse and great, and there are girls from all over the country there. It has gotten much rougher and more dangerous though over the years, since the 2009 coup and again after the pandemic, but I kind of miss those early days.

Posts: 19285% French, 10% Italian, 5% everybody else.
If that's the case, then who are those mongers (from what countries) who will turn Madagascar into another Thailand? Not from the USA / Canada, for sure. If you don't speak Malagasy or French, you are not going to last there. The critics maybe only mean Noisy Bee? Why would a typical English speaking monger go there if prices are already high and the girls don't speak English and the infrastructure of the place is primitive, way behind of Thailand and the SEA region. How is that a real competition? Maybe other French and Italian mongers?

With the Malagasy very simple French is sufficient. Interspersed with some Malagasy. In practice I speak a mix. And as you say. Dialects are another matter. I speak Merina dialect. But you can make yourself understandable. Most can count in French. Specially the girls. But. Most educated Merina speak good French. And not all French expats are alcoholics. Depends who you mingle with. Buffet du Jardin for example.
