Visited the'Heaven in South Jakarta. Before I entered they mentioned that if I left and didn't choose a girl it would be 115,000. You can have the lady at your table for a reasonable, undefined amount of time to speak with her and get to know her first as Paolo99 did. Usually 5-15 minutes, but again, it's not set. It will depend on the lady, the mamasan, the time of day/night and how many other customers are around. Buying her a drink doesn't matter. This isn't Thailand and Philippines where ladies get commissions from overpriced drinks. It's just the cost of the drink.

If you take a longer time with the lady, the mamasan may ask you to go to the room or pull her away to another customer the mamasan wants to present her to. If the mamasan comes back and asks you go to the room, you are on the clock. You are expected to either take her to the room, book a table, or send her away. When this happened to Paolo99, he asked for a few more minutes to ask his final questions. This is usually fine. He then took the lady to the room. If another customer comes in and wants to take her to the room and you are still being indecisive, the mamasan will probably pull the lady away so she can go with the other customer. (I unintentionally did this to another customer once. I came in looking for a lady I had gone with the day before. She was at a another table chatting with a customer and I didn't see her. I asked the mamasan for her by name. The mamasan immediately located her chatting at the table with another customer, laser pointered her over to me, I paid the mamasan and we immediately went to the room. I didn't know she was chatting with another customer. But he hadn't booked her table and was just talking with her. So she was essentially available and went to the room with me.)

If you want to "reserve" her time to drink and keep you company, it's the same cost as taking her to the room. 365 K for 1 hour. And it's called "booking table. " She won't leave until the hour is up. You can book another 1 hour table or take her to the room or leave. Up to you.
