Posts: 1669Ok Ok I'll laugh with you on that because I damn sure was hungry after drinking at Kokomos. I can't complain. The food was good but the female company was better!

Agree that outlandish prices are a prompt to say "Thank you, but no thank you" and move on. It usually ends up in a negotiation process where you own the game and start low. Very low. I've got some good 1500 k results with this and then a 1000 k tip in the morning.
I'm never an arsehole / asshole when it comes to negotiations and it helps.
The alternatives to street walkers are usually contacts of hotel workers or shop assistants. I just slip them my phone number or have been propositioned by quite a few.
Whenever a shop assistant says, "Is there anything else I can help you with?" _ Or similar_ I just reply, "Yes, just your phone number. ".
It's worked on more than one occasion.
You just have to wait for them to finish work, but they manage to text you until they do.
_Phil.

So odd you would refer to 1st degree murder as "fears of a one of robbery".

Posts: 469I have followed your posts with interest and we seem to be broadly similar in that we are not go go guys but we prefer freelancers. You give the impression there were a lot of Fls about. I found, some months ago, they were thin enough and a lot of them were last chance saloon types. Besides the top of WS, aroundf Phillies, I did not see many during the day, no doubt due to the heat andm ost of the action being at night. Outside of occasional gathering, I found little on the side streets. Whenever they give outlandish prices, I just walk, no more negotiaiton /.

I get wha you say about food etc but halo halo and even a SM Clark trip is big for them.
Did you eat outside the malls? Thai street food is generally fine but cheap Pinoy places mess my stomach around badly. Some of the bars catering to Western food smother the stuff in grease andthat is not good either. A monger marches on his stomach.

Trip was nice. Rented a condo near Ground Zero. Everything in walking distance. Didn't do much Bar / Club hopping but spent some time at Kokomos and Phillies on several occasions. In the evenings things start to pick up and more girls out 1. 5 k ST widely accepted, no fuss. Fields Ave, Real St, Raymond St, Santos St, even some along Macarthur Hwy near the 7-11. Scored a nonpro I met at SM Clark Mall at one of the kiosk. There are numerous girls available at the mall, out and about, shops, etc. Filipinas are very approachable. A lot will like to hang out and have fun. Finally tried ChowKing for the first time. Not bad but the Halo Halo was so-so and I like Halo Halo. Also tried that 99 peso Ramen place at SM Clark. Not bad for 99 pesos. Took a few girls to Jollolibee on Macarthur Hey, which is always a hit (the other Jollibee near the other end of Red Street is being remodeled and under construction). Kokomos has ok food. Went there with a girl after a fling. I had fun with her. She was in the top 3 on the AC trip.
Heading back to Thailand so you guys hold the Fort down in AC, it was fun with plenty of options.

Who is they? Koreans have never had a master plan to chase out anyone. Koreans have had more tourist coming each year and businesses have grown to meet their needs.
Pretty simple as that. Meanwhile the westerners $$$ have fallen short. Westerners are no longer a dominant force here.

South Korea remained the largest source of inbound tourists, with 468,000 visitors, though this represented an 18% year-on-year decline.
Spent time in the NCR recently. A very slow time for tourists on Burgos, both in bars and the street.
