There is nothing like Jakarta for its cornucopia of sex options, however the North Jakarta venues which are spoken most about on this thread are utterly unlike Pattaya. The blaring music and chain smoking patrons of venues like Travel, Kota Indah bars and Classic leave me with ringing ears and reeking clothes. Despite some saying that no condom is nearly a given with tipping in Classic or Travel, there are now several contrary reports on the certainty of BBFS at these venues with some girls. So I suggest to negotiate that aspect of the service directly with the girl, discreetly using Google Translate, before committing in these venues.

I would recommend giving Jakarta a try, even if only for a unique mongering experience. Jakarta is not Pattaya. The scene is geared to locals and works in its own way. I hate the plastic tattooed Thai girls and the commercial nature of sex in Pattaya. But if you want to hang out in bars buying ladies drinks etc then Jakarta is not the place. If you want sweeter unjaded natural younger girls, this is the place. But if you love Pattaya I suggest staying there because Jakarta is nothing like that.

Jakarta Pro: outside of the hardcore bordellos BBCIP and GFE are very available. Even inside these, cash often talks. Jakarta girls are far less commercial than Pattaya. Easy to approach in the street. Not everyone will go with you but those that do are better quality. On average English is better. You don't say if you want ST, LT or fall in love but very low likelihood of runners or scammers. Jakarta is a major city with lots of cash floating around so everything from 10/10 models to overpass skanks are available. Surgeries are basically unheard of. Like for like, costs are waaay lower.

Pattaya Pros:

Pure availablity and that's it. 1000's of girls to choose from within walking distance.

In summary: if budget isn't a concern and you want immediate availability of a gazillion girls, then stay in Pattaya; if you want sweeter girls that may require a little more work, but know how to say thanks, then go to Jakarta.

The only major con of Jakarta compared to TH is in Jakarta anal may be hard to get. I don't do anal, so not a problem for me.

My flight (from Bangkok) also landed at about that time. No problem taking a taxi to Jalan Peconongan. The ride lasted about 45 minutes. I guess at that time the rush hour is out of town. Since we're driving into town, no problem.
