Anyway, slide back to the crib to drop off the groceries and head to El Café in Havana Vieja for breakfast. I heard they had a great American style breakfast. No. Awful, awful, awful and my standards for food are NOT high. Bland eggs, flies everywhere, just. No. The bread is fresh baked there though. I hear they're known for their sandwiches as well and I can understand that because the bread was phenominal. But don't go there for breakfast.

Anyway, I head to Mimosa to wash the terrible taste of El Café out of my mouth. Pizza for my Slim brown thang and Spaghetti de bolognesa for me 4700 pesos ($12.70) total. Mimosa never disappoints, fire food. Head to the crib for some "bible study" with My Slim brown thang and then fall asleep for a bit. Wake up and make a reservation for VIP at LM Bar tonight. Velito is performing tonight and he's super famous in Cuba. Plus LM Bar is always popping on a Friday.

I'm hungry again. Off to Havanas 21 in Vedado. They're a little expensive but the food is so God damn good Jesus Christ. Top 5 Havana restaurant hands down - $26.22 for me and my slim brown thang.

Now that we've got our fuel, La Nave straight to LM Ba. They have my reservation and sit me downstairs at the tablet closest to the stage. I'm happy. Check the offers for LM Bar on instagram and make a reservation before going. Arrive before 11:30 to take advantage of the offers. Anyway, I got the highest offer, 15 K for a bottle of Johnie Walker Black and 2 Redbulls.

Like I said, Friday is LM's best night so the place was jumping and packed. This vibe was literally electric. I loved every second. I think it's going to be a core memory for me LOL. If pros are what you're looking for this place certainly has a plethora of them and man did they look good. A funny thing about Cuba, bags aka jabas, is that the Cuban grocery bags are shitty and fall apart even when new if you want to put 8 beers in them. So I bring my own grocery store bags (the thick ones that you have to buy in my state for 10 cents). I just use those as "gift bags," where I include cheap underwear or bikinis (you have to model it for me first jj) and soap and those tester perfumes that Cisco mentions, some candy and other sundries. One simply cannot have too many jabas in Cuba. Jabas Americanas are gifts in themselves, because girls in Cuba don't have tote bags like in first world countries. If you see a girl toting a thick Target bag in Cuba that's probably from me jaja. I'm actually bringing some cheap ebay tote bags next trip.

Day 3- woke up at 7 am this morning. It's early but I decide to go ahead and start the day. Couple bacon egg and cheese sandos and I proceeded to count how much Cuban pesos I have left. I turn around and tell him vamonus. It's about a 20-30 minute drive to the beach but I have the car to myself.

I get to the beach and apart from the unfortunate trash everywhere the turquoise blue water looks pristine. Since it's still early in the daytime nobody is collecting the chair tax, so I grab a seat in a covered area and proceed to take a quick siesta. I wake up and take a swim from about 30 minutes. Ordered 2 of their special guava drinks in the little tiki cups. And the pork taco appetizer, followed by the 3 lb whole fried fish with fried potatoes. The fish comes out and it's actually 2 massive red snappers. I struggle to finish it all but I know better than to waste food in Cuba. Plus it was actually delicious. And I am a pretty snobby food critic. Total was about 15000 pesos and I give 1000 pesos to the waiter, 1000 pesos to the chef, and 1000 pesos to the bartender.

Anyway now I'm stuffed and ready to burn some calories. I walk San raf home to see if there is any talent before I head home. Pro tip if you stand still long enough on San raf all the fish swim by you. Just be a patient fisherman and set your hook on the first random nibble.
