Agree that the prices have increased, but then 8 k for LT sounds excessive. Most of the time I get ST for 3 k at Soi Cowboy (recently some are trying to get 4 k for ST but I have not yet given in to that insanity). LT used to be less than 2 x of ST so for a "3 k ST girl" LT should be around 5 k ish. Having said that I am not a fan of LT as I like my peace and quiet after a good round of action in the bed.

I'm a long time resident in Thailand but up until recently I hadn't mongered in Bkk since before the pandemic. So fair to say I'm out of touch with current prices and admit to.

Trying to hold onto the "very cheap, old days". So imagine my surprise 2 weeks ago when I hit Nana and soi 4 and started asking some gogo dancers their prices. For info, I'm 45 caucasian guy, fit body and average looking face, full head of hair. LOL. No stud, but not an ogre. I'm well aware that the girls will quote a very high price if they don't want to go with you, but I'm curious to know if I was quoted the going rate, or if they were taking the piss. I like LT, so asked an average looking, 22 year old dancer her LT price. 8,000 baht she said, as though it was a given. I near choked on my sangsom coke and had to hold back a laugh. With the 1,500 baht bar fine on top, that's near on 10,000 baht for LT. No negotiating, each girl stuck to that price, as though the girls have made a pact to get the "accepted" prices much higher. Or am I wrong, and this is the current rate for LT? Went out on the street into soi 4, hit a few FL's up, and got the same quote -8000 wtf! LOL.

So, regular mongers, if anyone could give me an update on going prices, that would be great. I'm not a cheap charlie, but I'm no mug either. Cheers.

Today's my last day in Bangkok. I had to work on a few reports, but I'll take care of that once I get back home.

There is quite a few post saying don't delay if you got the chance. * I am taking that advice.

I have also read post during June of last year and there seems to be options.

I had a few questions and was looking for help / answers.

If it's raining will th gogo bars be closed?

I assume pickings are going to be slim.

Pricing based on what I have read:

3000 and up for girl.

1500 and up for BF.

300 to 700 for ST room.

Are the message shops available anytime?

Planning to visit a few of the well known and TOFTT a few.

I am planning on staying at the Westin which is 7 minutes walk to Soi cowboy and Nana plaza.

I choose this one as it's close and I am only there for 3 or 4 nights.

Not sure if they are girl friendly?

For the freelancers I am assuming due to rain they might be hard to find.

I have read about 10 pages back and will try to read some more but this being slow season was hoping for some help and leads, PM if you need.

Never pick up LBs from street, if you still pick up, don't go to her place, if you still go to her place, when she sends you to take bath, take your all valuables with you inside, if you don't take your valuables inside, you deserved it, from my personal experience.

300 to 700 for ST room.

To be more specific, the ST rooms in Ruamchitt Hotel (I. E. , above Thermae) are 700 baht. The ST hotel on soi 4 that Nana plaza girls will take you to (I believe it's called the White Orchid Inn) is 300 baht. There are a few other hotels that provide ST rooms but they're all around 300. Go to Thermae on a Friday / Saturday night and you will understand why the rooms there are priced at 700. Even at 700 you need to wait for availability sometimes (but this is probably less true during low season, especially when it rains = much fewer customers).

There are two kinds of "guest friendly". First, a hotel that allows guests for a relatively small extra charge. Second kind is a hotel that allows guests without a charge. Either type might require a guest to leave their ID or a copy of their ID at registration. Elevators may be attended by "security".

A few years ago, I inquired with the Westin via email as to the hotel's policy regarding guests. I was advised that the hotel did allow guests for a surcharge of 500 baht. I did not inquire further if that was for each guest or per day or whatever other possibilities might be involved. I ended up booking Centrepoint Terminal 21 next door to the Westin. Completely guest friendly. You might want to contact the Westin directly via email and make inquiry. There are a lot of street walkers around the Westin and can not be mistaken for what they are. So not likely that you could sneak one into the hotel. Ha ha ha.

Bar fines are not 1500 and up. I've paid 700 and 1000. Never 1500.

I don't know if the Westin is guest friendly but the higher end hotels are usually cool about this. But you prob have to register her as a guest.

On booking.com you can search the Q and A. Often the guest friendly question has been asked and answered.

Gogo bars in Bangkok and Pattaya ONLY close when the government forces them to close. On the contrary, pickings may even be better in a bad rain storm. Girls on contracts MUST work but wimpy guys stay home in the rain. Girl to guy ratio is favorable.
