Posts: 65Not much help from me. I took the train down, and slept in the minivan on the way back. Hmm. Don't remember any delays.

The coaches with air conditioning were all sold out and I had to wait an extra hour for the next available. No fucking way I am riding 3+ hours without A / see! On the way back (Sunday) I tried to book a seat on a full size bus (Roong Reuang coach) but the next 3 or 4 were sold out. I ended up on a minivan leaving out of Bluport. Minivan seats suck, there is no luggage storage so everyone has their backpack in their lap. Sucks.

Went to Beaver Bar Sunday evening. It was dead. 6 or 8 ladies out front all bored. I wanted to look at the new extension of the place called Beavers Barn. The owner has put a lot of $$ into making this a good venue. Bought a drink for a 30 year old spinner who had just started working there. After purchasing a drink for her, she informed me that she is only there essentially to play pool with customers, but all of the ladies sitting out front were available for BF. Decided to leave after one drink. Don't know how bar owners in HH make any $$.
Went to Soi 80. Stumbled in to what I think is called Linda Bar, but now looking on Google Maps can't find a bar named Linda Bar. It is located close to Jimmy's. Bought two drinks for a 25 year old Isaan gal. She seemed very happy, touchy-feely, and was happy when I selected Isaan music on the bar music screen. After two drinks I asked if she would like to go with me. She said she was on her period. Glad I asked. Closed the bill and left.
Walked down to Nanny Bar. The selection last year was much better. But now, if GILF's are your thing, you will be very happy.
Next day returned to Beaver Bar. There were only 2 or three ladies working. One, a thick 22 year old greeted me right away. We played pool and had a few drinks. I brought her back to the hotel. We had some more drinks and some fun. Regular BF of 500.
Went to Pee Mai massage today. An older lady grabbed me right away. Good service toward the end. After I asked her how much, she said 300 to the owner. I asked her "how much for you? I received the typical reply "up to you". Probably gave her a little more than what she would have excepted. Been to Pee Mai twice and always had good service, though she gave the worst massage I've ever experienced.
More to follow.

Similar report from me, just got back from a long weekend in Hua Hin. Soi 80 - bar girls looked so fucking bored, staring at heir phones. I just couldn't find any of them attractive with that attitude. Soi 94 - no different. Every girl had dead, glazed over eyes. It was apparent that they wanted to be ANYWHERE but there.
Finally a youthful (24 years) massage provider near the corner of 94 and Soi Bon Gai rescued me. There are like 5 parlors in a row. I think the one I chose was called Goldfingers. Her smile and enthusiasm convinced me to step inside, and a soon as I saw the stairs going up I knew I had a chance at happiness. Standard fees for hour massage plus BBBJ. 3 floors up so we could "make some noise".
I kept looking for FS providers but ended up repeating with her two days later as I still hadn't found anything in the bars.
However I would like to say that Hua Hin has some great restaurants and a quiet, chill vibe. Nice change of pace from Soi 22. I recommend Green Onion for BBQ and Chili.

Just returned home from a trip Hua Hin and agree with your description of Soi 94. Hua Hin was as expected for this time of year. Lots of empty bars with girls sitting around looking bored. Did seem to be a few more young cuties scattered around than last year. I spent more time on Soi 80 this year than on Soi Bentabaht. Also went to Soi 94 a couple of times. The Irish bar you mentioned looked good but never made it inside.

2) If you turn right as soon as you cross the railway lines you can walk a couple of hundred yards and there is a rock bar on the left. Behind this there is another Wonderland style set up, but whenever I've been there half the bars are closed down.
3) Carry straight on down Soi 94 and after Wonderland there are loads of bar on both sides of the road. According to Youtube there is a new Irish bar (Scruffy Murphy's) at the junction with Soi Mae Kep 2. (looks quite good).
Overall it's a bit hit and miss where any talent might be found. I'm certain if you look long enough you will find something of interest.

Posts: 134Best bar on Soi 94?
I've been to Hua Hin a few times but only hung out on Soi 80 and Bintabaht. I have posted a couple trip reports. I've yet to venture out to Soi 94. Will be returning to Hua Hin in the near future and want to explore Soi 94. What bar or two are the best for hanging out for a couple hours then ordering takeout? I saw a video on youtube talking about Beaver's Bar, and it looked like a possibility.
Thoughts?

This essay keeps it real! Very surprised the Mail got such detailed access and information. Everything I read (although specific to Hua Hin) was dead on point for Thailand.

Posts: 450Hua Hin is predominantly a resort for middle aged people looking to relax. There are plenty of beer bars and massage parlours, but nothing like the places you are looking for.

Posts: 450G-Hua Hin is a well regarded hotel, which is ideal if all you want to do is wander up Soi 94 and visit Wonderland. Not really walking distance to the town center.

Each year when I'm planning my several trips to Thailand I contemplate a visit to HH. I tend to come to the LOS for 3 weeks at a time. I've never been to HH. I think if I had contemplated it when the ferry was running from Pattaya I would have visited. But the road trip or train from BKK isn't appealing for just a few days. I have to be in BKK for business for at least 5 days. I know 2 weeks is more than enough to fit in HH but I have to do at least one week in Pattaya and I really like taking a break down to Samet, Koh Chang, Koh Mak or Koh Kood (not for mongering just for the total "escape" So this means I tend not to travel west of BKK.
I have an upcoming trip and am yet again thinking of finally experiencing HH but from the various Youtube videos I get put off. I particularly like the Gents Clubs of Pattaya. It really suits my mongering preferences because of the relaxed laid back vibe, many girls to choose from, frequently encountering total public debauchery with guys on couches getting BBBJs or enjoying a bit of doggie whilst the world gets on with life! For example I love the strip pool competitions in Club Fate where the girls get naked if they lose or the punter buys drinks if they lose. Great fun and adds a fun twist to just agogo dancers giggling smiling and thrusting (all great but gets a bit boring! But is there any equivalent at all in HH? Or for a bit of variety are there any BDSM clubs in HH like Demonia or Octopus in BKK or Castle in Pattaya? If it is bar girls and massage shops and nothing more, I fear it isn't really for me. Just wondered if the experienced senior members who know HH could shed some light on options. Thanks.

I was looking at below hotels and ditched Anchan and start looking at some more "fancy" hotels.
So a new question, Is G-Hua Hin resort and spa GF, they have some good offers now and down towards soi 94 suites my reason for the trip. Any other suggestion of similar hotels?
