The paramedics attempted to revive him, but he was pronounced DOA at the hospital. The formal cause, as listed on the death certificate, is myocardial infarction, which is a heart attack..

I mean the police should be able to determine their age regardless of looks, no? Can the IDs not be trusted or the establishment is not keeping up to their own policy os Adults only resort?

Seeing that this is the Dominican Republic you never know. This is not a first world country where importance is placed on things like registering births. I know people who spell their names differently than what is on their birth certificates. I also know people whose real birthdates are different from what is on their birth certificates because they are done on an if I recall correctly basis. Many times births are not recorded until years after the person is born. I have a friend who has a non-profit traveling around the country helping people with this. The issue usually does not arise until they need to obtain a passport in order to travel.

Younger than 21? Or was the informer trying to get you to get with her instead? Because I'm wondering why police would be bothering the girl instead than the establishment? Would be nice to know what is the legal situation of the establishment, and if visitors face potential legal troubles without knowing it.

Did you find out any more facts about Ted? What happened to him, was there foul play, police investigation, etc?

She wasn't an informer. The last time I was here I had them together and I always asked the younger looking girls their age. She said she was 21. So when I came and didn't see her, I asked her friend if she was still working there since a lot of the girls have left for whatever reason. That's when she told me what happened. And like you, I'm thinking blackbeards would make sure to vet the girls before they are allowed to work and I don't think it's easy for them to get fake IDs.

I think Oasis / FOD closed a while ago, unrelated to the current crackdown. Hopefully, Blackbeards will be left alone. It's relatively quiet, tucked away in a small gated community, and doesn't seem to bother any neighbors.

Alternatively, Sosua is loud, crowded, and it's obvious to everyone what is going on there. The politicians can't pretend that they don't know what's going on there. That's why there have been so many crackdowns there over the years. To my knowledge, Blackbeard's hasn't had any trouble since the early days, like 20 years ago. Hopefully it will stay that way.

Crap. I always enjoyed chatting with him there. And he gave some great recommendations for who to see while there.

Don't know if he had any family back home in Florida but he had a very successful business there as well.

I was not there. Ted passed away. I just quoted exactly what was sent to me. John is my friend who first texted me, & he was not there. He is best friends with Marty. Richard was there along with Marty who sent me his quote. They are the witnesses. Hope that clarifies any confusion. No one is naming any chica, as they have clammed up. And yes, Ted was taking chicas to his room all the time while he was there.

He meant Ted, not John is first sentence. Also said a couple guys tried to give him CPR & helped carry him down to the ambulance where they too attempted CPR, but as we know he passed away.
