My first time in PP was around 2006, second time in 2009. On the first trip me and my Canadian buddy went in a bar, and they girls "played" with us. Momasan asked if we wanted any girls and we asked how much. It was only $15 for ST upstairs. I can't remember the name of the place. I took two girls upstairs for $30. I remember bottle service in a bar with Johnny Walker was only $30. In 2009 we went to Angkor what, and a bar in the local town had girls. The price was really cheap for ST, I can't remember the exact price. I ask med momasan how much for overnight. She said $35. I couldn't believe it. I told moma I'd take her for 3 days. 3 days with the lady for $105. I found out later that the girl wasn't very happy about that. The next day she seemed to want to disappear, I talked to momasan. The girl just wanted to go home for awhile to get stuff and see family. So every day she went home a few hours. Now ai see the prices in PP are quite a bit hire. But PP is looking like it is financially better off these days.

So all in all, PP was fun, surprising and also familiar. A lot of girls and not many punters. Well worth a few days but you need things to do during the day as the days can be long and boring.

Yes it is possible although depends on the girl. I assume that you are talking about bar girls rather than trying to find a normal girl in PP? I have taken a girl for a few days around Cambodia however it was someone that I had previously bar fined and been with a few times. So she knew me and was comfortable that I was not a scammer. Cambodian girls can be good company if you find the right one. Of course there are those that look at you as an ATM and will try to extract as much from you as they can. So my advice is find one in a bar that you like and spend a little time with her. You will know very quickly if she likes you or just wants a cash withdrawal.

My last night in PP was a good one for a little of both. My wingman and I went to Nana bar to check out a girl he had been with before and he wanted to bar fine again. Fair to say that he has an eye for talent as she was very attractive with a tight body despite being 30. Must admit she looked hot. Her friend came over to us and pricked my interest. A little taller than usual although had the typical Cambodia look. Nice body and well worth spending time with. Nana bar is a fun bar as the girls are very hands on and expect you to be also. After about 30 minutes of fondling and DFK I decided to bar fine my girl as well. However she gave me the "period" reason and I was initially disappointed but then she said she would come back to my hotel as she still had other ways to entertain me, pointing to her mouth. Both provided very good service and I repeated one of them last night who was even better the second night. Provided BBBJ unprompted and a lot of DFK and loved DATY. I considered it good value as the girls have very nice bodies and good attitudes. I also did buy a few rounds of drinks at the various bars as well.

The other thing they both did was stay until 6 am which is something the girls have not previously done in my last few trips to PP. The room was quiet as requested, but I didn't like it. The armchairs were definitely old, dirty and in need of replacement. Not because they weren't clean, but because they were old. The room looked like an alcove. Breakfast wasn't very good. Also, for my taste, it's too much to be on the red street, better to be about ten minutes' walk away.

Street 136, like 130 and the following streets, is full of bars and, unfortunately, scams. .

It's very easy to find a girl to have a drink with, but very difficult to find a pretty one who will come to the hotel.

There's no place to have sex in the bars, and they have to come to the hotel with a barfine (about $15), but the best ones hardly ever do.

I wasn't there just for the girls, but it was tough. I brought some pretty ones to the hotel after hours of searching, and not every night. Prices, apart from the barfine, are around $70-80 for 2 hours. Behavior: only one was acceptable, and she stayed for two extra hours. The others were indecent, especially one with whom I had agreed on two hours and who wanted to leave after half an hour. Paying afterwards, I said OK (I certainly don't hold anyone back), but I paid her half. When she asked for 20 for the taxi (which costs 1 there, by the way), I told her again to leave, and goodbye.

Be careful with your ID card too. Not everyone has one, and the hotel (rightly!) asks for it. I don't know why not everyone has an ID card, one of them was definitely over 18 (I think around 25), but she didn't have one. Another one in another city brought it the next day, and I took it to the hotel the day after. Everything was fine. 23 years old.

**Other things to do*.

Beautiful temples, avoid massage scams (they say they'll steal from you while they massage you), nice riverside with a party on Saturdays, nice and cheap boat trip.

Thanks for the report. Having travelled many times to PP I understand that it is not as easy to get the pretty ones to come back to hotel. Generally the more attractive ones have either expat or local BFs and only need drinks for pocket money. It takes effort to find those that are willing and need the money. Of course beauty is always in the eye of the beholder and sometimes that ones that are not as attractive are the best performers. Attitude in the bar is a good sign and always ask them upfront if they go with customers. If not then more onto the next one. I find PP a good place to hunt, especially if you have been before and have time. There are the usual places that you will find girls willing to come home, larger bars like Xanadu which has a lot of girls. I have noticed though that more and more do not stay long time, which is fine as I prefer sleeping alone anyway. I will be back there in early October and will provide a field report. It is not Pattaya or BKK but worth a few days of hunting, as long as you have things to do during the day!

Its been some years since I have been in PP but want to go back later this year even though my fav hotel, Flamingo is gone. I did make contact with a taxi driver when I went there the first time. He took me around town to roads that were less travelled like some of the houses by the river with some cute chicks. Don't think I would have found those places on my own. There were a couple of taxi drivers/guides on this site at one time, sadly one of them ran afoul of the law, got busted in an underage prostitution sting, but he should have been released by now. Not sure what ever happened to him.

No need for any Tuk-tuk or taxi driver in PP but if you want to explore more of the city, a driver could be helpful, just stay alert.

Yes, I remember reading ISG reports about that tuk tuk driver in the early 00"s, the open-air houses on the opposite bank of the river, and his bust. I felt a little sorry for him because he was a small player who got caught up in a sting operation while much larger players got away with it scot free, but underage is underage. The last thing in the world I need is to get busted for that BS.

Will someone please explain to me the advantage of involving a 3rd party tuk tuk driver to find girls in Phnom Penh. The idea sounds totally lame to me. What is problem with bar hopping the all too numerous hostess bars or simply going to Cyrcee? And on those rare occasions when a suitable hostess girl is not found by 11 pm or so, taking a tuk tuk over to Darling Darling in NagaWorld, which is always a sure thing. I mean if you are not into hostess girls, why come to Phnom? Stay in Pattaya!

Oh, and to the other responder who mentioned Cyrcee's: that finally closed for good at the end of April. It had closed down a couple of years ago but moved locations (with Sona Horny Secret Bar moving into its old location). But that new location finally shut down as well.

I am sorry to hear this. Cyrcee's was a fun place. The vibe was always great and the girls, oh the girls, they had some nice ones.
