Been following posts, esp. SubCmdr (thank you).

Been here 3 weeks, but only started with TF last few days. I'm in my early 40's, not in bad shape (no gut) etc, and been playing with different profile text. Initially I tried to woo with nice guy etc, but was attracting the long are / ship ones.

In the end reduced to something that would indicate my intentions. Have only managed to get one on WA that I liked and in negotiation stage at moment but no meet. I'm no idiot but I'm starting to think BKK is not great for TF. The girls seem v busy as when I send msg it takes an age to reply, even with premium and selecting 'put my replies at the top'. OR maybe I'm being too fussy looking for the 7-8/10's.

If I have no more real success and I've given it many hours, I'll have to get over to Sukhumvit somewhere.

1st time in Thailand and BKK, so I realize there's a learning curve.

All I want is the same as every other guy here I would guess. A pretty face under 30 yr old under 45 kg and pure filth in bed. Not much.

Exactly why you need an opening line that is overtly sexual is a mystery to me. Maybe individuals are uncreative or have low vocabularies. There is an accepted lingo. Learn it and use it. I only get explicit off of Thai Friendly when I am in direct personal communication.

The thing as well is, if they moderate your profile, they don't inform you, I only discovered it after I didn't receive any 'visits' or 'likes' for about 8 hours. I thought that's funny and just checked my Sub was active etc and by chance saw my profile was just listed 'moderated'. As soon as I changed it being a bit more cleaver with my turn of phrase, all was OK.

So, just a tip, to check your profile every now and then to make sure you are 'active' and not censored.

Anything you folks suggest that will make intentions clear without TF flagging or restricting the messages.

I am 2 weeks away from being in pattaya. Got my TF subscription for $19 (will cancel once I leave thailand). I did that last time as well.

What I did learn from this trip was nearly every girl has their price! So many start off with 'serious relationship only' but when you push them a bit they start 'oh I do a bit of freelancing now and then. ' LOL.

Also all girls I connected with except for 1 used What's APP. So easier than LINE, I won't miss LINE, it's become too much hassle.

Still think TF is the best site out there, you just maybe have to put a bit more time and effort in, to get the result you want.

In May I looked for my subscription expiration date but couldn't find it. Then when it expired, things became clear and I was able to renew it. Now I'm about 5 months into a 12-month subscription and I cannot find my expiration date or renewal information anywhere. The annual renewal cost $119.95 (US), which is substantially cheaper than 12 monthly renewals. Since I spend about 3 months per year in Thailand, it's worth the money to have an annual subscription. Annual subscriptions do not automatically renew.

When I eventually found my renewal information, I used the web version (not the mobile app) and it was in the upper right corner next to my picture. Maybe it was part of settings.

In your situation, I would send a message to ThaiFriendly technical support. I used that one time and they responded in less than 48 hours with a clearly written answer. Send message by going to "Help", which you can find by clicking your picture in the upper right corner of the web version.

Beats me. Mine is in the google play store. Take the recurring off the one month then let it expire. You should be able to do it after that.

I'd be amazed if TF lets your subscription end without emailing you loads of times to remind you and to get you to sign up again. Or worse you'll find your on auto-renewal.

But by the way, your account (and lists / favorites) will still be there if your sub expires. When you get it sorted and you renew you will still be able to find your historical data.

Line has also stopped a lot of services given access to users outside of their business area of Thailand, Japan, and a couple of other countries. I can search for a line ID only because I have a Thai number. Girls know to send a QR as that still works.
