Glad to be back in Rio!

I agree that legal prostitution makes for peace between men, assuming inequality / religion / crime does not have a counter effect. Imagine if people had a toke and a pretty girl smiling at you and canoodling, it makes everything else seem unimportant. Maybe this is why the working class poor in Buttville USA go nuts, you may have noticed the number of evangelist churches is the inverse of economic prosperity, and let's face it, the men and women are obese and in tracksuits and have no gender differences. And they vote against economic self interest, preferring cheap moral and cultural distractions they are fed over a zero mortgage house, cash and growing assets. The truth is the wealth don't give a damn if their kids die from lack vaccinations or they are dumb because of bad schooling or sex restrictions, because none of that applies to the elites personally. They are not "in this together". That's BS. Yet they don't get. All you need is use the word socialist and they lose all sense of reason. Meanwhile, they are W2 tax slaves and mistakenly think tax cuts for corporations benefit them personally. Makes no sense when you look at who is behind it, a roll call of billionaires and PACS.

And let's face it, between Clinton's famous "I did not have sexual relations" and the Epstein list of ex and current presidents, billionaires, celebrities, royalty and heads of state of all political brands, but all rich, connected or useful for favors, the hypocrisy is vast, including Chomsky and his fake morality. No mid-west fat Karen's with facial hair for them, not that they are good physical specimens either. Maybe that's why MAGA is so angry. They are sexually frustrated. Legalizing P2 P in USA would open an entire new economy or resorts, restaurants, employment and making people happy, and the bible does say go out and multiply and plenty about sex, but none of their twisted interpretation throttling a basic biological imperative, aka life.

Our hobby with consenting, adult women that is legal in Brasil is simply enjoying what the elites get up to at a much lower cost and with freedom they cannot imagine. Brasil gets hard currency for a renewable resource, we get smiles on our faces (as do many of the ladies) and everyone wins. Is there a site that has a list of centro prives. I've been too I think all the termas in centro in previous trips, but I've only been to onyx in Centro. I haven't been to So Paulo, but it seems like the prives are easier to find posted online in So Paulo than in Rio. Oh yeah in my Airbnb might be more than a lot of people spend but it's not a big deal that's like an equivalent of one bad options trade haha. I want to be comfortable. Has anyone else looked on Airbnb you should see the crap holes that they're asking $4500 a month for it amazes me I'm assuming that Most people write the owner and ask for a much bigger discount I don't know? Oh and I'm going to take your advice and learn how to use the subway to get up to Centro and down to BArra. Not only is it cheaper. I'm assuming it's much quicker because you're not stuck in traffic. I think all YouTube video on how it works before I get there.

I agree with what you say about new years but high end apartments with beach front views, high floors, completely renovated with high quality materials go for a lot more. Apartments at a third of his price are fine but low end, yes there are plenty available, it all depends upon your tastes and budget and what's acceptable to you.

Yes, from Christmas through first week of January, hotel and apartment prices are 2 to 3 times more expensive in Rio. A lot of Paulistas with money spend that time in Rio. And there are a lot of Paulistas.

I saw a few videos on using the Rio subway and it looks pretty straight forward plus Google Maps shows that a station in centro is very close to 4 x4. I'll definitely use that route during the daytime hours but not sure if I would for a return trip at night if I end up staying at 4 x4 for awhile (unless I run to the station from 4 x4!

I don't think anybody needs YouTube videos on how to learn to use the metro in Rio. It's not more complicated than using the subway in any other city in the world.

I think that is too much, but then again, there are elon musk rich people here. And even if you are elon musk, I suggest that following the path of centro prive gets the best sex. Speaking of starlink, there is starlink internet at surfinnrio insta out at praia macumba where there is the best women of all colors at the best surf place in rio.

The best place really is this address -- lucio costa 2916, which is the Italian place, Fratelli, right at posto 3 in barra.

The best place to build up a property empire is at or near the temekeria in barra at olegario maciel 373. So, the call in barra is temekeria sushi + perola negra, ave de pepe 400.

The all you can eat sushi there is amazing, like on par with tako sushi in SP, which is where so many of us went with ABG after prive runs.

But anyway, most of us are stuck in our ways.

Ana's restaurant is a good spot, the spaghetti with chicken is solid, a good spot before or after a centro prive run 29 reais. Next to the Starbucks, a good link up spot for centro prive runs at the metro cinelandia and on the route 309 bus to and from barra beach.

USD 3500 is about 633 reais / day. That more than 3 times more expensive than what they usually charge for a nice 2-rooms apartment close to the beach in Copacabana.
