This year I tallied it up and spent over KRW 8,500,000 visiting the various establishments in the area and north to Seoul. That's slightly up from last year when I spent about KRW 7,600,000.

The total number of encounters from last year to this were about the same 60, so about 1+ per week. By establishment type were Korean 30+, Chinese 15, Thai 10, and Viet 4. The various establishments were about 27 different locations.

If you've never done so, you might run a few numbers to see how much it's costing year on year. For the few years I've been here, it could have paid off a new car. Entertainment value is what you place on it, I have the money to spend, and Korea isn't expensive, so I have no regrets.

I went back to vist the local Viet Massage shop that had served me well the previous few trips. I was hoping to see the same one as before, but she was off and I ended up with a different provider. After a previous so-so visit to an officetel advertising Thai BBFSCIP for KRW 130 K, I decided to try my luck once more. I reached out to my contact and received directions to the designated location, same as before. After arriving, I knocked on a different door down the hall and the Thai woman who answered was surprisingly attractive.
