My report presents my experiences during a 3 days trip to Santiago, with 2 different (and very nice) experiences. First of all, I bought an esim with a local number.

I stay at airbnb's as I do note most hotels have tight security for visitors requesting ids which put off the younger18+ brigadefrom staying with you. Most Airbnb's are appartment complexs in Centro Santiago are good with pin code access so no ID checks, I'd only give out access code to a regular WL to get through to lift lobby. Heading to Santiago / Val / Vina for about 7-8 days next month and I wasn't sure if there were any guest friendly hotels you'd all recommend. I tried searching the forum and couldn't find anything (but I'm still a noob so please forgive me). Are the 'love' motels safe for non-Spanish speakers. Recommended over bringing them back to your hotel? I would rather bring them back if the hotel has a policy where they copy their ID just in case, like some other cities. Thanks.
