Posts: 2599Yes it was. I wouldn't hesitate to go there though, almost every place in Medellin gets robbed eventually. They have been in business for many many years and this is the first time that they have been robbed. Casas like New Life are the safest places to bang chicas.

Posts: 263I kind of like Barra Ejectiva. And I have run into some pretty good looking girls there. But I'll agree with you that Fase 2 is the better vibe. It's not that bad a part of town. It's just an industrial part of town. There is a nice brewery right around the corner.

Posts: 14Fase 2's and isla report
Main two strip clubs are Isla and FAse 2.
AT ISla I had to get a bucket of beer around 250 k to sit in a table. Also had a hookah for fun. Entrance 50 k. Girls are 500 k for 1 HR and to take them home about 1. 5 million. Girls are good looking anywhere from 5 to 9's. I had the pleasure of seeing a shortie called Valentina. Actually I got her number and saw her after her working hours. Paid 400 k for that experience for 2 hours. She was GFE and I enjoyed my time.
FAse 2 is in a bad part of town but you can arrive safely. I have never spent so much money to strippers but it's easy to get carried when you are thrown 2 mil pesos that are worth 50 cents. I probably spent around 100 dollars in tips for these girls but they were swarming me and looking for attention. Cover is 30 k, prices are 500 k to take a girl upstairs and 1. 2 million to take them home for few hours.
Also had to buy a bucket of beer for 230 k and I liked the vibe better here than Isla. More girls to guys ratio although the Isla girls were hotter. Had the pleasure to take a Venezuelan upstairs, badass body her name was Barbara. You can also get their number and negotiate to meet outside the club.
Did not go to Barra ejective but heard is a a lower tier class and more accessible.

Posts: 14Just came back. Casas only ranked
Just came back from the trip. Visited the below casas.
Highest priced for 440 k is loutrong, best variety, presentation and service and mostly 7-9's.
Energy is next next to laureles. About 200 k and 400 k for two girls. Mostly 6-8's.
Lower tier and below 100 k ranked are where locals monger are.
Amigas sexii and playmates both near plaza boater. They still had cuties but you can see anywhere from 1-8's here.
I didn't have the chance to go to newlife unless it's also called playmates which are walking distance to each other.

Posts: 1021I think it was late 2021 when I experienced a lot of problems with the official website. It was pretty wonky. I finally used a VPN with a Colombia connection and was able to complete the form. Did not work with VPN with a Yew Ess connection. I was in Guatemala at the time. In fact of all the times I have flown to Colombia, it has never been from the Yew Ess and maybe that is why I don't get questioned. Maybe. I don't have any passport stamps from Thailand, DR, Mexico etc. Either in the latest passport. That might also factor in. Plus I am old and white.

It's interesting that you asked if I used a 3rd party site for Check Mig. The first time I travelled to Medellin 3 tears ago I did not do Check Mig. I was not allowed to check in at SFO. When I went to the site it would crash or not allow me to continue. I would have missed my flight if I did not use the IVisa app. I had to pay for an expedited Check Mig within the hour for $60.

The airlines don't insist on it now. But, I can see that the immigration officer is comparing my Airbnb reservation with what is on the computer. They always ask where I am staying and in some instances the phone number.
Completing that form gives me the peace of mind knowing that I can be admitted quickly.

Do you talk back to the screen when you go to the movies? Everyone's experience is different. I've never had the type of back and forth with immigration that you had when you landed in Bogota. It takes less than 5 minutes to do and I am done. I don't speak Spanish so I don't can't be debating or arguing with immigration. It's not worth it and after a long series of flights I am too exhausted.

Posts: 18325They also ask how you are doing 4 times during the first minute. Don't know if I sound like an asshole by saying you already asked me that, but it grinds my gears being asked the same thing over and over.

Posts: 1170The upside is that I don't get asked the questions you listed in your comment. Occasionally, the agent will ask me where I'm staying. I always have it written on a piece of paper, and show him when asked. He never types anything into the computer when he looks at the address. When I arrived in August, after the improvement message was put on the check-mig website, I asked the agent if he could see the check-mig information. He said he could. Even though that message is on the site, you can still fill out the form.

Posts: 4402Checkmig has always been free to use. It is in fact optional. It populates the immigration agents' system with the data you input. Those data are basically the questions the agents ask you. Sometimes they will confirm the information the way Colombians do when they ask your name 10 seconds after you introduce yourself. It can save a bit of time in the immigration hall. I use it when I have time and when I remember. Back on the core topic, there is a new spinner at Amigas Sexxy I enjoyed meeting a couple of days ago.

Posts: 168I never had to use a third party for the check mig, I always used the official website without problem: https://apps.migracioncolombia.gov.co/pre-registro/en.

I arrived in Bogota 2 days ago. The line was long as shit. I went to the disabled line and was first up. I did not fill out any checkmig. The guy asked me the purpose of my trip. I said tourism. He said where are you staying. I know the address by heart and told him. He said is this a hotel or apartment or what? I told him hotel. He asked if I had a reservation. I said yes. He wanted to see it and I was confused since I have never been asked this before, so I did not have anything ready to show. I started looking through my phone for an email or screenshot and when I found something he did not want to see it. He asked me why I came through the kids line. I looked at him confused. He said this is the kids line. I said I thought this was the handicap line. He said it is. I said and I am disabled. He said you do not look like it. I said would you like to see my ID card? He said no and gave me my passport back to proceed to customs.

Posts: 1021Did you pay a third party site for CheckMig? It is flat out not being used, is not required, and is not a thing at this time. I am an obvious gringo, albeit a Spanish speaking gringo.
