I'd also be very interested in information about the Yangon Thalwin Hotel. It's not cheap, but the location is very convenient. I contacted them to ask if they're girl-friendly. Maybe they're completely fed up because everyone from the shops next door and across the street is bringing the girls in. Does anyone know more?
It would also be interesting to know about the Best Western China Town and the Pan Pacific, or the Grand United Hotel. The Pullman and City Star seem to have closed, and the Parkroyal once refused service to a girl.

Yes, I've read thru the tread. Info is old or very generic.
Have narrowed my choices down to 3 hotels. Pan Pacific, Park Royal and Yangon Thanlwin (located right next to Emperor).
Would appreciate any info on any of the 3.

The reception is on the 4th floor. You don't need to go to the reception. You can take the lift from ground floor to the level where you have your room. The security guard will keep the ID of the girl for your safety and hers too. At the end, she gives the security guard some tips.

Posts: 1201Does it refer to both hotels that you go direct with the elevator to your floor without passing lobby?

If you stay in either of the two Grand United hotels in Chinatown, round the corner from Emperor, you enter at street level where there is just a guy who will take the girl's card, and then you take the elevator straight to your floor without going near Reception which is on the third floor.

Posts: 2379Rooms at Hotel G are small. Entrance is through the restaurant, which is nothing but a glorified, overpriced pizza parlour. Our preference is the Loft Hotel just up the street. The Loft is discreet, private, GF, very quiet, with primarily European clientele. Their restaurant is excellent. For a recent stay (room 201) the cash rate was 58 usd.

Is Hotel G which near the Parkroyal girl friendly?
BTW, I have to say this hotel is good in every perspective. I just like to know whether it's G friendly since it's too close to the Parkroyal and the Club 5.

Just checked in to Clover city center and the reception guy confirmed: no charge for additional guest as long as you are solo and booked a room for two.
